I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course. I started the course knowing nothing about coding. In 3 weeks, I've not only learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, I'm also learning how to inspect pages and how to troubleshoot when things aren't working. The lessons are easy to follow at your own pace and there's a tonne of support if you need it. Definitely recommend the course to anyone looking to learn!

Excellently explained videos which makes coding a fun yet relatable experience. I like that it's detailed with notes provided alongside to help learn in the best way possible! I liked that I could go at my own pace and that SheCodes was understanding of deadline extensions.
I'm so impressed with how much I have learned in such a short amount of time. I was a little worried coming into the course being a complete beginner but I feel it was really easy to follow and I even enjoyed the problem-solving element if I had made any mistakes. I love that there are colour templates, gradients and cheatsheets available to make things a little more simple. I have signed up for SheCodes Pro and I'm so excited to see where it takes me.

I started the SheCodes Basics course as an absolute beginner. I always found coding intimidating, but this course explains things bit by bit, allowing you to steadily build up your knowledge and understanding. Before I knew it I understood HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how to make them all work together. I'm so glad I took this course as it de-mystified coding and I felt a real sense of accomplishment in being able to make a webpage from scratch at the end of it.

This has been a great introduction to the world of coding. The satisfaction from successfully completing each lesson 'challenge', the weekly homework, and the final project of creating a webpage from scratch that uses all the HTML, CSS, and Javascript components, has been rewarding.
I've been wanting to learn to code since I started my career as a Graphic Designer but had no idea where to start. A friend referred me to SheCodes and I'm so glad as this course made it really simple, can't wait to start the next one!
The Basics workshop is fantastic. I never thought I'd ever be able to get my head around even the 'simplest' code but it was explained in ways I could understand, plus it was fun!

SheCodes was an interesting taster into coding for myself. I was seeking some insight into different career options while learning something new!
So far, so good! I've already completed a HTML and CSS course on Udemy which was great but mostly follow alongs. I have also tried my hand at The Odin Project, which for me was a bit too intense. I feel like this is a great middle ground!
I am recent Biomedical Science graduate but I wasn't sure whether I wanted to continue down the route of science or trying something else. I saw an ad for SheCodes free coding class on instagram, after attending the class I was so intrigued by coding and wanted to learn more. I signed up the for basics workshop the next day and it's been a great experience and I have loved every second. I have recently looked into more tech positions and tech related graduate programs as result of SheCodes. Thank you SheCodes
The lessons were engaging and easy to follow. Loved the little challenges between each lessons and the homework at the end of each week, which helped foster my interest in coding further! I was so nervous that coding would be too hard for me but I'm really glad I took a chance with SheCodes. Can't wait for the next workshops!

I have always wanted to move my career from retail/hospitality to coding as this is something I am passionate about. I had a very crude understanding of coding but nothing that could produce a product. Through this course I have gathered skills to create something I really like, that I could use to start learning more with an end goal of getting a job in development. The team and other students are lovely and helpful. This is a great introduction into coding.
It's a good way to learn the foundations of coding. I especially liked that we were challenged to think outside of the box and seek help either from the Slack community or google solutions on reliable websites. Matt gave clear instructions/demonstrations which were easy to digest.
The thought of learning to code seemed really scary and frankly ridiculous to me, but this course has completely flipped my idea of what coding is. Hi! Don't have much Say , would simply appreciate the way I was taught and yes it was worth of time giving.
Learning to code have been an absolute joy, and SheCodes has been the perfect platform by which to learn! The lessons are taught in a way that help you to understand why things work, rather than just telling you what to do without the context or understanding behind it. I've started to learn coding with a view to begin a career in this field, however before even completing the basics course I was already using code in real life situations in my current job, something I didn't even realise was possible before I started this course! The Slack community is also a fantastic resource with advice and support from both other SheCoders and SheCode staff which is really useful and reassuring. I am so excited to keep learning through the rest of the Pro courses.
SheCodes has been great for getting a taster of HTLM, CSS and JavaScript to see if I liked it. I liked that I could do it at my own pace and that there were challenges after each lesson which helped me to practice. I'd recommend the short course to anyone who's not sure what to expect or whether you'll like it as you learn enough to give you a taster and see if it's something you'd like to pursue further as you'll need to invest quite a bit of time and effort and money if you like what you see and consider it as a carrier change. SheCodes has completely changed my previous perception about coding. The workshop is structured in a way that is approachable and easy for students to understand the fundamentals about coding with good exercises to practise what you learn. There is also a great community out there where the SheCodes' team is quite responsive to your questions and you can also interact with other students and help out each other. I found myself spending more time in practising what I've learnt and I am eager to learn more. And most importantly, I have a lot of fun throughout the process!
The workshop was easy to follow, support on Slack was always quick and friendly and most of all it was FUN to learn with SheCodes. Looking forward to starting the next one 👩🏻💻

Great course! There was loads of challenges when learning, and as a kinesthetic learner it made it so easy to learn and get the hang of things. You can go at your own pace whether it be a session a night, or 10 sessions a day so it really fits around a busy schedule!
I have been really pleased with my SheCodes journey so far. After completing SheCodes basic I knew I wanted to progress and learn more about coding and work towards a career change. The course has been really coherent and clear to follow. I am a mum of 2 young children, so it has been really ideal being able to work through each week at my own pace and fit it around my schedule. It has been really useful to have the community on Slack too for support and guidance and the SheCodes team have been really helpful along the way. I have learnt so much so far and I am very grateful to SheCodes and look forward to continuing my journey!

I came across SheCodes one night just before bed as I searched for coding classes while laying in bed and got myself enrolled for the free coding class. After attending the free class, I enquired about the prices and was rather skeptical. I had so many questions racing through my head on whether I should commit myself to do this?, if it was gonna be worth it?, will I stay motivated to complete the package?(p.s. I was interested on the Pro package), why is it expensive do they do student prices?, despite all that I got in touch with the customer success officer and registered myself for the Pro package. The team is simply awesome. I wanted a class that is flexible, interactive, challenging and rewarding. Hands down, SheCodes is one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made for myself. I am wanting for more and more lessons every single day, It's just so interesting that I don't want to put it away!
Completed the Basics and completely addicted to coding! Have now signed up for the Pro course and can't wait to get started. Highly recommend.
I have thoroughly enjoyed SheCodes Plus and the final project - it has sparkled my interest in coding even more and I would like to keep learning. The format of the lessons and just how practical they all are makes it very easy to follow along and see the result of your work.
I found the workshop fun and engaging. It has allowed me to get a better understanding of the terminology, concepts and tools used within my current position as a product owner and working alongside tech teams. The bit-sized lessons were easy to understand and pick up. I also liked that there were small challenges which we had to build upon existing knowledge from the lessons and learn new things via learning by doing.
I've found an interest in coding and enjoying working through the SheCodes Pro course to transition from Fashion Design graduate to coder! I've always had a passion for design and SheCodes is helping me create professional looking, interactive sites!

When I asked what is coding, everyone said that it is a difficult profession that requires knowledge of mathematics. I have always stayed away from this profession because I am not good with mathematics. It has been great learning coding again especially with the step by step on how to different areas of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It has also been great knowing you learn, the try out the challenges and then see the solution. As Matt has explained there are different solutions so you will not feel bad as long as the functionality works 😁 With practice you will be able to become more familiar and confident with coding
I found this course equal parts challenging and motivational. I liked that it's broken down into small steps, and you have a chance to practice each step before putting it all together.
I really enjoyed learning the basics of coding! I found it so much easier to follow than other courses I looked at. It was so useful being able to watch someone doing it and having the group chat if we got stuck!
I registered for the SheCodes Basics workshop just to get an understanding of front-end development. The course was super interesting! The way it's being taught throughout 3 weeks makes it very easy to keep up even if you have a full time job. The fact that for each section there are videos not only to teach you but also to show what the challenge is and to give a thorough explanation of the solution is extremely helpful!
