Yet again a wonderful experience! The challenges this time were more difficult, but I still had lots of fun completing them. My favourite part was learning about JS templates, as it massively reduces repetition and makes my code look much cleaner. A big thank you to the SheCodes team for the wonderful course! :)

SheCodes has been a great platform for women to start learning how to code from scratch! I did the basics course and I've been so impressed on how Matt's videos are easily understandable and enjoyable too. I impressed myself too! As I never knew I would be capable to code but now I feel confident to do anything.

Just the thing everyone in coding business need to add to their capabilities. I found out that your professional skill doesn't mean everything; you must be able to sell your self to the person who hires you. Properly! and in this workshop Matt did a great job from writing me resume and editing my LinkedIn account and how to network. This is the thing you need if you got the professional skill!

My educational background is in Neuropsychology. Although I was really fascinated by the world of tech, it was at the back of my mind. As a graduate, working in mental health and understanding the vast technology that can be put together to support and help has been at the forefront. Taking on Shecodes has been an exciting journey. I am all done with the basics now, and I am waiting to get onto Shecodes PLUS. It took a lot of discipline and dedication, but if I am honest, Matt makes it fun to want to tune in and engage. So thank you Matt and the team!!

It's been great coming back and revising the course after being away for two years, these new projects and expansions are a great refresher to courses I've previously completed.

While this project was challenging it drastically improved my confidence in playing around with and debugging my code.

I just completed yet another challenging yet exciting SheCodes workshop. This workshop definitely pushed my knowledge on coding and it felt like Matt was there guiding every step of the way. I'm very excited to see what the next workshop has in store although I can definitely feel like its getting more challenging now!

I enjoyed working on this project very much, it was very engaging and creative and I found myself wanting to learn more about how to do further customizations to engage viewers. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

This was such a good introduction to coding! I highly recommend to anyone curious about coding, I feel confident with the basics this quickly as the teaching is good with in depth videos and notes. I only wish I had done this earlier.

I really enjoyed the responsive 5 week programme because it gave an insight into the day-to-day of a frontend developer. I learnt how to use bootstrap and media queries to ensure that pages are responsive and adapted for mobile.

SheCodes has been amazing in teaching me what I need to code. It's super fun and interactive, the whole course is broken down into small sections that allows you to digest everything and go back over if you need. The challenges have been great and the final project was exciting (was great to be able to do a subject of your choosing), it allows you to play around with code and really explore and learn. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into coding :)

I think this workshop is really valuable - I learnt a lot and stayed motivated to study everyday. The challenges really keep you engaged, and each topic is well explained.

Learning to work with AIs has been way more fun than I was expecting, and a lot more accessible than I feared! I had a great time, and would encourage anyone to try it too.

I didn't know anything about web design before starting this course but I've learned a lot and I've had so much fun designing my first landing page! There has always been help available when needed.

She Codes plus was a lot more challenging than Basics but I can say that I have completed it with a weather app that I am extremely proud of.

The focus is on HTML and CSS elements that achieve a responsive website. Throughout this course, I've learned many techniques required to create and maintain a site that's compatible with any device. Overall, a brilliant course.

React has been so fun to learn so far. Really like how simple and easy it is made by Matt's videos breaking it down into bitesize chunks. Can't wait to learn more!

SheCodes Basics is such a great course to start building your foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Matt was a great teacher, he broke the lessons down into manageable sections and explained each topic in simple terms with demonstrations, to make it easy to understand. The final project was a great way to try practically applying everything i'd learned and it really helped me to build confidence. I can't wait to continue learning with SheCodes!

Happy to complete the Weather App Project after an intense 2 weeks of learning. The JavaScript element is definitely challenging but I enjoyed the whole process of the project.

Hello, I was always curious about coding. However, I was so scared to take step forward in this field. But I am so happy that I did and I enjoyed every bit of it. To be honest, There was point where I did get intimidated but I said to myself I am here to have fun. After that everything went smoothly. I know there is a long way to go and I am ready. I really like the flexibility I can learn and do the challenges whenever I can do. The way "Matthieu" explained everything in details is excellent. it easy to understand and even you can get help on slack if you get stuck on somewhere. I highly recommend this to everyone. I really enjoy SheCodes workshops. I like that everything is broken down in small videos so you can learn at your own pace. Plus you can always go back to them if you need it. The weekly deadlines hold us accountable and the Slack chat is very useful. I feel like I have learned something I can use in the professional world.

I've really enjoyed learning how to code (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) with SheCodes. It is probably the best online coding lesson out there (and I have tried plenty!). The topics are well organised and the explanation very easy to follow. I love the homework we get at the end of each lesson, which allows me to test my understanding. Another positive about SheCodes is the community, which is a fantastic way for everyone to share their knowledge, get help from the experts and an opportunity for you to help others; again allowing you to hone your knowledge.

I found this to be incredibly challenging; however, I have learned so much during my time doing this. At times, life and work commitments have gotten in the way of my learning; this also made me more determined, particularly in the last couple of weeks, to power on with this. I can see my progress during this, starting as a complete novice to coding before the free taster lesson, Basics, and Add-on courses. I can really appreciate just how much I have learned. The lessons are structured well; Matt gives logic, rationale, and explains thoroughly what is happening. While it is frustrating getting stuck on something, I found it quite reassuring that Matt also had moments where he made an error, which I found incredibly helpful for doing my own detective work to find issues in my code and working back systematically. There is always help on hand in the Stack community, and it's also extremely helpful to read through other people's questions; I found that at times they answered some of my own. I absolutely recommend this course. It's so satisfying seeing and submitting the final project. Don't underestimate taking some time out and coming back to your code with a fresh pair of eyes! I miraculously fixed a number of errors after taking a break!

Coming into this workshop with minimal experience with AI I have found it very interesting to find out how to use AI as a tool. I have also become more confident with using API's and my preferences with User Experience.
