When I started the course, I was totally beginner with no background coding knowledges. Over 2-3 weeks of learning and trouble-shooting by interacting with people on slack, I could come this far!!! I am very surprised at this fast progress and am motivated to continue more coding learning. My achievement was thanks to Matt, his very supportive team and my motivational supporter(my husband)! I started as an absolute beginner with no coding knowledge at all. The lessons took things in small steps, but this built up quickly and I was amazed how much I'd learned just by the end of the first week. I really enjoyed creating my final project and am keen to learn more!

I have just finished the SheCodes Responsive course and absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed doing the Basics and Plus workshops, although I was eager to learn how to make my projects look good on any device - the Responsive workshop definitely delivered. I put off learning how to code because for the longest time, I didn't know where to start! The format of SheCodes teaching is by far the best I've experienced. The learn at your own pace and in bite-sized chunks makes it easier to learn and somewhat addictive at the same time - you actually want to go to the next workshop to build on your knowledge. The fact that there is no fixed time for the classes and you can fit into your schedule is also great! I am shocked at what I have been able to create in just three weeks! Matt is a BRILLIANT teacher! I can't thank the SheCodes team enough for such an amazing programme (and I got it at a bargain - thanks Black Friday!) I really would recommend this course to anyone who has considered coding, but may not know where to start. You really won't regret it!

'Basics' Workshop - A great intro and insight in the world of coding. Personally I felt a little bit overwhelmed with how much there was to go through. However with the way the lessons are broken down, as well as being split between 3 weeks, made it easy to follow along and learn each section with ease. The homework solidifies what has been taught and gives an opportunity to put into practice what has been learnt (which is the best way for me to learn). I did have to request an extension because I work full time and so was glad this was an option. It gave me more than enough time to be able to get everything done with ease. I have since signed up to the 'Plus' Workshop and although I am nervous, I'm also excited to learn more.
Way more fun than I ever imagined! And a really easy to follow way of learning how to code 😀
Really enjoyed this and I especially enjoyed the fact that I could learn at my own pace. My interest in coding has truly been piqued 🤔. Enjoyed the challenges posed by the Home -works and the Final Project. I give it a 5*rating 👍.

What an incredible workshop! I've learned so much in such a short period of time. It feels so rewarding to build something from the ground up and to engage the creative parts of yourself.
SheCodes Plus is a great way to take your coding knowledge & skills to the next level after completing the basics course. It is rewarding to work on the final project throughout the entire course and add to it gradually. I also enjoyed getting the experience of working through the entire 'project' timeline from the initial wireframe to hosting.
The videos were very easy to understand and good support from SheCodes team. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into front-end programming or whoever is looking to build a good foundation. Thanks a lot for the opportunity.

Thank you SheCodes I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and cannot believe the progress I have made in such a small amount of time! from coding a mock webpage in HTML with some elements of CSS & JS to now having built a fully functional live weather app using APIs to update everything in realtime. I can't wait to continue learning and seeing my code come to life. I'm excited to apply this knowledge and what is to come to my future projects that I will build a portfolio with and hopefully complete my career change in 2022!!

I came across SheCodes while on Instagram, and later signed up on the 19/11 21 as I am now retired from nursing and have time for myself. Learning HTML,CSS and JavaScript was new and fun for me as Matt made the course very interactive with each lesson and a I felt sense of accomplishment when I completed each weeks assignment and recognize my achievements.

I hadn't been to school for about a year due to a deterioration of my mental health, I lost my motivation and I didn't know who I wanted be and what I wanted to do in life. I came across SheCodes in an Instagram advert and clicked on it out of curiosity. I attended the free 60 minute online coding session and immediately, I became interested in the world of coding. This interest inspired me to enrol on a Computing course at college and follow the pathway to become a Web Developer.
This course has truly been an amazing experience. I have learned so much in just 3 weeks. HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT is just the beginning but have definitely opened up a new path for me. Thank you Matt for your amazing tutorials and down-to-earth teaching style. 🙌
When I started this course, I had never coded before! I now feel super confident with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have completed a project that I'm really proud of. Matt is an excellent teacher! He breaks each new piece of information down into bitesize lessons that make coding fun and easy to understand. He also demonstrates what not to do and common mistakes that are easy to make, which — as an absolute beginner — I have found really helpful. Great introductory workshop to coding!
I fell in love with coding after completing the Basics course, so moving on to SheCodes Plus was really a no-brainer! Although the course itself if much more challenging, Matt's lessons are so clear and helpful. I've absolutely loved learning more advanced techniques, and starting to work towards my professional career by learning how to host my code to the public. Seeing everything you have learned come together in the final project is really exciting and I can't wait to keep learning!
Having taken the SheCodes Basics class, I'm thoroughly impressed by how the material is delivered and how accessible the concepts are.

Plus course is a different level compared to basic. I struggled for a couple of weeks with the Javascript parts, and I needed to take some time to digest all the contents. However, I'm glad that I managed to finish the final project in the end!
Really enjoyed how this is course is set with the homework and the easy user experience of the website / uploading.
Learning to code on this course has been such a fantastic opportunity, and can't wait to see how I can use my new skills! Thanks SheCodes!

This is a very good course that will have you creating but, more importantly, understanding the basics of coding. There are, of course, positives and negatives of it being self-paced and not live, but all in all, it is a great experience!
Want to learn coding to focus on a new career path in something that I enjoy. SheCodes is such a great website and new way of learning, I'm so glad its flexible as I can work around my part time job and my two small children. Great for me to do while on maternity at the moment. The learning is so simple and easy to follow for something that seems complicated and can be frustrating at points.
I had a lot of fun completing SheCodes Plus. It was really great to learn the languages in more detail and see all the cool things they can do!

Thoroughly worth it. It's been a challenge. I found I worked slower than expected, and it's easy to get caught up experimenting/perfecting the things I learnt. I have gained valuable knowledge and confidence for working with developers in a company. Can't wait to keep trying new landing pages with more advanced scripts.

I found that the lessons were organised in a comprehensive and accessible way, and enjoyed completing the challenges and final project.

Really enjoyed this gentle introduction in to coding. The videos were informative and got straight to the point but never felt overwhelming. I'm definitely interested in pursuing coding further! I did get stuck in the first week but could see the answer I needed easily in the slack chat which was really convenient. Definitely give it a go!
