Completed the Plus workshop after doing the Basic and it was so satisfying to be able to improve on those first skills and build on them with what the Plus offered. The lessons were really helpful and structured well, and the whole team are so helpful when you get stuck. Looking forward to expanding my coding knowledge and techniques with the next workshop!
This coding workshop was honestly the most structured and well prepared workshop I've ever taken part of. I have tried to learn code on my own via different self study routes but nothing compares to someone actually teaching you! I am impressed at how quickly i have managed to create a landing page using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone trying to learn how to code!
The SheCodes introductory course has been such a great place to start a new hobby. I've been looking to learn something exciting to do in my free time and this has been such a great experience with everything taught step-by-step. It's really fun and also engages different ways of thinking.

I have been keen to learn how to code for a few years now and am pleased to have taken the step with SheCodes. The structure of the content is a great way to learn, layering knowledge lesson-by-lesson.
As a total newbie, I was quite skeptical about how effective SheCodes would be in teaching me coding. I have tried other courses but never went anywhere because it was too hard. Matt has been able to make coding quite easy to understand and i had no problem following along. Best decision!!

A very well structured and engaging course with a lot of useful content. I really enjoyed learning about Bootstrap, API, GitHub and Hosting as well as Development Workflow, which is another useful technique I didn't know about. The course has definitely made me feel a lot more competent and has added a lot of value to my existing skill set.
The SheCodes Basics course was absolutely fantastic. I've learnt so many new skills that will help me in my day-to-day work, as well as finding a new passion for coding in the process. I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

Learning how to code with SheCodes has been a great experience! I have learnt a lot in a short space of time through engaging videos and challenges. I came in with zero knowledge on how to code and have finished feeling knowledgable and confident to code. All the topics are broken down into short videos with a challenge, making learning much more manageable and less daunting. Matt is a great teacher and I highly recommend this course.

Just completed my last SheCodes project and after finishing all 4 of the online courses with Matt, I have to say that it is the best online course for coding!! I have tried some other online courses but none were so easy to understand and follow. Matt is really gifted in teaching you how to code that you don't even feel like you are studying!! I highly recommend SheCodes as the best course for starting your career in becoming a Front-end Developer.
Super starter course for coding newbies! The lessons are easy to follow and interspersed with plenty of exercises so you can learn fast, while the support is quick if you ever do get stuck. I also discovered some amazing new tunes along the way thanks to Matt's SheCodes Radio playlists 😄

I highly recommend this course for everyone who has doubts and is not sure if coding journey is for them. All learning materials are super accessible and easy to understand and you get to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is a great starting point which can set you up for your future learning path depending on what interests you the most. I know that my path is programming rather than designing, but it's good to have knowledge of all. I cannot wait to start my next workshop!

I have learnt so much from both SheCodes Workshop and Plus. Matt is a great teacher and the team are so friendly and quick to reply to any questions you have! There were definitely challenging points but the live support I received was amazing, I learnt so much from asking questions. Everything is broken down and makes it feel manageable which is so motivating because you can quickly see your progress. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about learning to code to go for it!
I never would have thought coding is something that I would enjoy, let alone be good at, but after finishing SheCodes Plus, I completely fell in love with it. I am just about to finish my Masters degree in MSc Information Management and Preservation. I noticed that a lot of the work that I may be doing in the future would involve coding, so I thought I would use SheCodes as a launch pad for that endeavour. However, I don't think I realised just how useful this would be. All of the lessons are very easy to follow and I had a lot of flexibility. It was also useful that we were able to get practical experience in coding, and these are skills that I will use for years to come.
I had alot of fun doing this course and learned so much! I love the slack channel it offers so much support, and when you are stumped on a problem its nice to see youre not alone and can almost always find the answer digging through the slack chanel. wonderful workshop!

Before SheCodes, I didn't know anything about coding, nor did I have much interest. But through the course, I have learned a great deal and found it hugely enjoyable. SheCodes Plus has been the perfect continuation of my journey into coding after the 3-Week Introduction to Coding course! This flexible course worked well alongside my job and the SheCodes team were very helpful whenever I needed help. SheCodes Plus was a pleasant jump up in learning advanced HTML, CSS and Javascript but also, added web hosting (through Netlify), Bootstrap for CSS, API integration, Github repos and many more coding skills. Thoroughly enjoyed this course and it's a great value for money. I can't wait to continue with SheCodes in their SheCodes React course soon.

I really loved the interactivity with SheCodes. I've tried other webdev courses but never got on well with them due to being self paced, but I felt I had a community that I could interact and connect with here.
Prior to starting the SheCodes Basics workshop, I didn't have any experience with coding but I've always been interested in learning about it. I can genuinely say that I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop because I feel like I learned so much in such a small amount of time. The layout of the course is excellent and it allows you to study at your own pace which is very useful. The videos for each lesson were fantastic and the challenges were great too as it helped with solidifying and retaining the new skills we had just learned. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who's curious about the world of coding 😄
What stands out to me about the workshop is how each task (or 'challenge') is well explained and easy to understand for beginners, and the programme as a whole is well structured. I also appreciated how flexible the programme is; I was able to complete everything at my own pace, and fit the work in around my other commitments.

SheCodes Plus is really challenging. You get to learn how to integrate real data, work on your visuals so it looks nice on different devices and keep track of your coding so you can see your progression/changes. Would highly recommend this if you want to take things further.

During the course I got a new job, and really struggled to find the time to continue this course. Happily, the crew behind SheCodes are very understanding, and continued to help me although I could not keep with deadlines. I have learnt so much, and I know my weather app is a little bit crooked due to a combination of my lack of artistic direction and lack of time; I am so eager to continue coding in my own time. Looking forward to SheCodes React!

I was quite apprehensive to try coding as it seemed so complicated. I was drawn to this course as it was aimed at women and there were projects to complete to cement your knowledge and understanding. This course has been exactly what I wanted and more. It's a very creative process and not boring at all - I think I assumed it would be?! Very enjoyable and I'm very excited to move on to the next course.
This has been a great challenge for me as it has taken me totally out of my comfort zone. I'm so proud of my app and have already sent it to people to try out!
So happy to now know how to code! It has been such a rewarding experience and I cant wait to continue learning!

I am currently serving in the military and have had an interest in coding since coming across some extremely sophisticated technology that we have in service. I wanted to widen my knowledge and studying with SheCodes which actively promotes females within the industry made good sense to me. I really enjoyed this course. It is a brilliant introduction to coding which is delivered at a pace that you can manage and the videos really help you to understand the content. When you are stuck, you have the resource Slack where you can talk to other students, have your code reviewed and amended if you have any mistakes in it very quickly so you are never left stuck. Amazing!!! It's shocking, what things you can do using the code! Yes, it require a lot of effort and hard work some time. You can always start from scratch and watch the tutorial again if needed. I'm so exited for my Responsive and React, whoop-whoop
I was a complete beginner to coding and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the course. The lessons were easy to follow, and understanding tested with a short challenge at the end of every lesson. I never felt overstretched, and help was always available on Slack. The final project was a great opportunity to put everything I learnt into practice.
I've never had anything to do with coding in my life but wanted to learn a new skill. I enjoyed every minute of this very well-taught course, especially the challenges which encourage you to do some research on a detail that hasn't been covered in the course yet (just like a coder's everyday experience, I guess).

AMAZING coding course! And by far one of the best online courses that I have come across. I've loved every second of it. The short exercises throughout the week are super fun and really reinforce the learnings from the videos and prepare you for the weekly homework. By the end of the course, I was surprised at how much information I had retained about coding. When it came to doing the final project, it had already begun to feel so natural. It's been amazing to learn how to build a basic website page from scratch and see it come together in the final project. So a HUGE thank you for introducing me to coding and for such an excellent course.
The SheCodes Basics course has been great to get me back into HTML and CSS, and introduce me to Javascript. The lessons are quick and engaging, and I can't believe how much progress I've made in only a few weeks!

In my job I create online content and upload it via a CMS every day and I thought it was high time I learnt how a website is actually built. I applied to SheCodes on a whim and I have not been disappointed! It was great! I learned valuable knowledge in enjoyable ways and at my own pace. Like learning any new skill, there were moments of frustration but definitely worth it.
Really well structured classes that encourage you to use your intuition throughout the challenges with plenty of help and / or resources to guide you. The workshop has reinforced my self-taught skills within HTML and CSS as well as introducing me to JavaScript. The course has also shown me a cleaner approach to workflow by breaking elements down so that they are easier to digest and understand.
I loved the workshop! Matt made it very easy to understand. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to become a developer without previous experience or knowledge.
