SheCodes has been amazing, such an interactive online course making coding so accessible! I have learnt so much and will be continuing my coding journey as soon as I can!

Really enjoyed the course! Excited to continue onto the next workshop.

Shecodes Workshop program has been a great starting point for me. Before the workshop program, I struggled to get started, so much info online which can be overwhelming and confusing. After the 3 weeks program I feel confident to to explore on other platforms and self study , but dicided to carry on to do Shecodes Plus because this program pushes me to finish all the tasks on time I have to hand in the homework at the end of weekly lessons. Doing it by myself, I won't be able to be that disciplined and motivated to finish tasks on time.

This has been an amazing journey with SheCodes, going from someone with little-to-no coding knowledge, to someone that has been able to build weather applications in both vanilla JavaScript and React. I am very excited about the new Responsive course and look forward to continuing my coding journey even beyond the SheCodes courses. Matt, as always, has been an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops to anyone with an interest in learning more about coding. It's a very rewarding skill to learn, even if just for your own personal enjoyment rather than solely career-oriented.

I was really impressed with the workshop. With just a few lessons I became comfortable with coding. I also appreciated the final project because it gave me room to be creative whilst applying the key elements I just learned. Also the assistance from the slack community was great. Overall I am very happy with the program. It is also the first time I am finishing an online course.

Another interesting module - definitely struggled more with React but I got it done in the end. I would definitely say there is a bigger gap between the lessons and project for react than there was with Vanilla.

I really enjoyed learning how to code using the basic fundamentals of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. The challenges at the end of each lesson kept my brain charged up helped me understand the practical side of it. The deadlines keep you disciplined and on your toes . Loved working on my project, in the end, it's so rewarding.

I have been interested in coding for a while but not so much into the "how computers work" part of computer science. This course was great because we skipped right to the application of coding and the classes broke everything down very simply.

This course was very informative and interesting. It has been taught in a way that made it easy for me to understand and also fun. The homeworks were enjoyable and also challenging at times, but the solutions explained by Matt always helped me see where I may have went wrong. Overall, I loved it!

Something that took me 3 months to learn, I was able to learn in three weeks! Thanks to Matt, the instructions were clear and straightforward. I enjoyed every session and the project they were full of surprises and very stimulating. I do not take this opportunity lightly.

Very nice and well made project, it gives you a proper hint about how is to code. it's a good start for who doesn't have any experience.

Great workshop! Very challenging sometimes, but the tutorials are nicely done so all I could do was to enjoy it .

It was wonderful, there were rooms to develop and challenge myself during pandemic! The materials are easy to follow and enjoyable. SheCodes demystifies the world of coding and demonstrates how easy it can be to understand; the pacing was perfect and you have all the support you could wish for.

After finishing my first ever coding workshop I was hooked! So I decided to continue to explore the world of coding, and couldn't recommend it enough! Both challenging and exciting, seeing real-time results of my work while being supported by the amazing SheCodes crew has been a joy!

I'm a still a little dazed from actually completing this workshop. It was potentially the most challenging but also rewarding thing I've done so far! Luckily React is only 3 weeks, I need a break :D would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to dip their toes into coding though, just be ready to have your mind blown...

SheCodes is a great launch pad into coding, all the lessons are well explained and easy to find.

Really easy step by step guide into your first steps into coding which you can do around a busy schedule. Matt breaks it down into easy to swallow chunks and builds on your existing knowledge. Hopefully, onwards and upwards to SheCodes Plus React! 🚀

I have had a great experience with SheCodes and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to code but doesn't know how to get started! WOW ! What a ride it was !! I really enjoyed it and sometimes it was hard. Yeah..there were points when I was battling with my self-belief . Luckily I knew that had Joao and Daniela to fall back on when I needed support and I knew wasn't alone in what I was feeling. In the end it was so worth it, especially when things clinked and elements worked. Those fist-pumping in the air celebration moments are just the best. What I will take away with me is a greater understanding of coding but also the satisfaction in knowing I just kept swimming.

SheCodes Workshop was a great experience! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to have some coding knowledge. You'll learn a lot and you'll also have a lot of fun!

I have tried to teach myself coding here and there over the past few years, but quickly dropped it as I felt completely out of my depth and I could not find the right sort of help via a google search... Not only has this course taught me solid basics, I now have excellent strategies and resources for continuing my learning after this course has finished, so thank you :) ... just realised I entered the draft final project instead to completed version! 😵

I cannot recommend the SheCodes workshop highly enough, I have absolutely loved it! The course structure and regular deadlines helped me to stay focused and motivated, and the course being broken down into short lessons was easy to manage whilst also working full time. The challenges and end project were fun to complete, and I feel that I have learnt so much in only three weeks. I am really looking forward to enrolling in SheCodes Plus!

I highly recommend the SheCodes Workshop to anyone who's interested in learning the basics of coding. I've tried multiple self-paced learning platforms in the past, without succeeding, due to a lack of time constraints and accountability. The workshop format, was easy to balance with my full-time role but I also knew that I had weekly deadlines to meet, so that helped me prioritise my time accordingly. I'm really looking forward to joining the SheCodes Plus workshop soon!! 🤩

I've thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes experience, the lessons are broken down in a super thoughtful way that made it easy to absorb the information. I loved the camaraderie of helping and being helped by other Coders in the Slack groups each week. I originally took the course to give myself some basic dev knowledge for my role as Project Manager as I move from Creative to Digital, but find myself eager to learn more. I'm already looking to take the more advanced courses as soon as my work schedule allows! Thank you to Matt and Joao for your help, I had a great time!

It was a super challenging course, but very satisfying too - when you apply the knowledge you gained in the lessons and your project works, you get this great feeling of accomplishment! I would definitely recommend it and my advice is not to doubt if you can do it at first, just go for it and step by step, slowly slowly you will reach success! It was super fun and I am glad that I can now say that I understand what coding is all about! Now the next step is to practice practice practice not to lose the knowledge and keep getting better at it.

SheCodes courses are a very good first step into coding especially when you have no computer science background. It has a very good sense of community interacting with the tutors and the other students. It is a very practical course with headlines which motivates me (as a full time worker) to finish my learnings in a certain amount of time. Although I believe the courses fee can be reduced to similar coding courses in the market.

This workshop really pushed me but I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it and getting to the end! It’s so rewarding seeing my finished project! Highly recommend to anyone thinking about learning how to code, just do it!

Introduction to Coding has been a fun and valuable course, teaching the coding in a very logical manner. Matt is a great instructor, and his teaching methods are working great for me! SheCodes is an excellently taught and motivational course that has given me new skills that I will be able to use in my future career! The lessons were well curated and steadily stepped so that the learning is not overwhelming but enabling and confidence building. Great easy basic classes to follow and love that you can get support on slack.

Really enjoyed the classes and seeing how each lesson integrated with the other. The last project was my favourite, who knew coding could be addictive!

SheCodes is a great choice for busy women who want to learn how to code but don't have (or think that they don't have) time or motivation. The workshop gives a good intro to CSS, HTML and JS, making you fall in love with coding, and leaving you eager to learn more.

SheCodes is a great platform for beginners to learn the fundamentals and I would highly recommend. I was a little conscientious of studying while working full-time but this course has been the perfect option offering the choice to work at your own pace with deadlines to keep you motivated. Matt is very professional and explains all concepts thoroughly in his videos. I would also like to thank the team on slack for being such a supportive network and quick to help with any queries.

The workshop was very easy to follow and I am very surprised how much I was able to learn in just 3 weeks. The tasks are challenging yet fun (which a huge plus!) and Matt's videos are very clear and well-structured. I can't wait to continue learning with SheCodes and start a new career!

10/10, would totally recommend! The SheCodes introduction to Coding workshop is as introductory as it gets -- Matt's teaching is very easy to understand and enjoyable. Even though you're learning quite a lot in such a short time, it doesn't quite feel like it as the challenges are fun and keep you engaged!

This course was breathtaking. Even though I am only 11 years old, the way Matt explained everything made the seemingly hard challenges that much easier. The lessons are memorable and easy to understand, and the challenges made me think. A truly awesome course!

What a rewarding and fun journey! I decided to do the 'Introduction to Coding' course in-between jobs, and I'm so pleased I did. Working in marketing I have the ability to edit HTML / CSS when creating landing pages or email templates, but I never had the confidence to edit code extensively. After studying this course, I have a firm grasp of the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript - I'm already planning to book onto the SheCodes Plus workshop to learn more about Front-End website developing.

The process has been very well done. It's easy to understand and a great support system set up if you require help with any elements.

I have been interested in learning how to code for a while but could never find the time or the right site to learn. I came across SheCodes and loved the learning style with it all being broken up and structured into small challenges and then the Homework. You can work at your own pace and have an enormous amount of support on the slack channel where everyone is friendly and willing to help you out if you are stuck anywhere. I look forward to continue learning how to code.

This 3-week course has been the perfect introduction to basic HTML, CSS and Javascript! I didn't have any previous experience with coding and still found the online video lessons, challenges, research and weekly homework all do-able. The Shecodes team are great at responding to any queries on Slack, so if you do find yourself stuck on anything, there's a whole team ready to assist! I'm hoping to carry on with the other Shecodes courses in the future, but for now, I'm focusing on building my music and coding portfolio. This is hands down, the best workshop for complete beginners, or someone who was coding as a self-taught and is struggling to understand how some functions work. I can't believe how easy was for me to understand everything, and this is all thanks to Matt. Looking forward to my next challenge!

Initial coding workshop, really easy to follow and fun to complete with tasks along the way to cement what you've learnt rather than just watching and hoping to take it all in. Great for complete beginners to get a taste to see if you want to carry on!
