I've only just completed my first 3 weeks and I am so glad I signed up for the full REACT course. I am learning so much. I am really grateful to Matt and the team and I am so proud of my work so far! please take a look!! 🤎🇬🇧

Good value to quickly develop basic proficiency in HTML, CSS and JS.

I was really fond of the way the course was structured. I could watch or re-watch the lessons whenever I wanted to, as someone with no background skills in coding, it was impressive to see how my coding turn into something visual. Moreover it's worth it to give a try to SheCodes, whatever you're a complete beginner or a little more advanced coder.

I've been in IT for over 22 years now, on the technical support side. I then moved into software development release cycle and project management. It always interested me, what goes into fixing bugs and how I could make software better or write myself. I found this course through a friends recommendation on the free course. I loved it! I then went on to do the workshop. As soon as my project for the workshop has been given the green light, I will sign up for the SheCodes Plus and the React course. It is such an easy course to follow, the interaction and deadlines really make all the difference. Thank you SheCodes!

I loved the way this workshop was structured, you have access to the resources any time of the day and you can always rewatch a lesson or go back to a previous assignment which is great because this allows you to practice more. As someone with no background in coding, I found the workshop really interesting and it is cool to see how your coding transforms into something visual.

Really enjoyed this project, will definitely sign up for the next workshop.

This workshop has been enjoyable, as well as extremely helpful in building my confidence during the lockdown. I have now learnt a new skill in an area (STEM) that I didn't think I was able to access without a degree.

This course certainly helped me understand advanced Javascript and how to use API's! I think a weather app is a fantastic way to practise these skills and would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for a boost in their coding confidence!

I've always enjoyed coding! I find it very creative and it's just fascinating how much you can achieve with very minimal software or tools. I was introduced to it years ago at school. I remember that I really liked it but have since forgotten a lot. When I saw SheCodes advert I knew straight away that it was a great opportunity to get back into it. The course is affordable, well structured and very engaging. I really enjoyed communicating with other women on chat. All of the questions get answered promptly and the admin staff are very helpful. The course has not only covered all the basics that I've forgotten. It has also given me some great tools I didn't know were out there as well as clarified some of the aspects I didn't fully understand when I first came across coding. I would very much recommend SheCodes :).

SheCodes Plus is INCREDIBLE! My friends who are professionals can't believe how far I've come and how quickly I have learned how to code a website and an app. Matt Delac is a fantastic teacher and makes it feel very easy, as well as so much fun. I can't wait to experiment and explore my new found skills and collaborate with other coders on some exciting projects!

I have been wanting to try and learn code for a while, this is a wonderful step by step way of learning. Easy to understand, and the support via Slack is brilliant too.

This was the best beginner coding course I took. The exercises and the homework really helped with understanding and putting into practice all I have learnt. The course pacing was great as well.

I have always wanted to learn coding, but as a worker with a young child, I was very anxious to take that first step. Now, I am disappointed I didn't start sooner! I can't believe how much fun I have had during the last 3 weeks, and it's really given me a boost and helped me find some more confidence within myself. I really enjoyed the course and learned so much in a short time. As a Designer, it has really helped me understand the process of turning designs into working interfaces. The classes are really clear and straightforward, and you get a sense of great accomplishment when your coding works.

I have really loved my SheCodes experience and have found the course extremely useful and a lot of fun! I have really appreciated being able to learn in my own time, at my own pace but with a target deadline at the end of every week. The flexibility has worked perfectly for me since I work full-time and the set deadlines have kept me motivated. The lessons are a good length and explained well. The practical challenges, homework and final assignments which follow these offer enough of a challenge to feel like you are learning something but not too difficult that you feel overwhelmed. The SheCodes platform has been very friendly and approachable to use and I have looked forward to every lesson and every challenge. It's very satisfying when you get it right! Many thanks to Matt whose videos have been very clear and easy to follow. He's a great teacher who explains things well and makes the whole experience fun. I'm looking forward to starting the Plus course now!

I already knew the basics, but nothing like a good refresh. I think this is a good workshop for those who are really absolute beginners, yet I also think some other things should be included. Nevertheless a great start. I am ready for my next step Workshop Plus 🤓

I started this course as a complete novice and can't believe how much I have learned in such a short period. The structure of the course and weekly deadlines kept me motivated and accountable to my learning. I have fallen in love with coding and can't wait to continue.

I enjoyed this coding course and the final project. I did find some of the modules a real struggle to understand but I got there in the end.

This is my first time learning to code and I've enjoyed every part of it. I found the learning and challenges fun and easy to follow. The solutions also really helped, I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone.

I had never coded before I took this workshop, I wasn't sure what to expect. The tutorial videos are really easy to follow along with and I was able to build my knowledge and see results at the same time. So when I was a kid, I was learning a bit of css. I always liked it, so I always really wanted to learn proper coding! And I'm so happy I found this page! This workshop has been quite the step up from the last but I am thrilled to have decided to take on this challenge 💪! Every penny has been worth the new knowledge I have been able to gain since embarking on this coding adventure! I am so glad I found these workshops as I now feel like I have gained some skills that are really sought after in today's evermore tech-centered job market.

The course was well structured with both the lessons and the homework that was assigned each week.

I found this challenging though it helped in many ways; it gave me confidence, something to do and it gave me a chance to see that if i focus i can complete new skills! This gave me a reason to believe that because i am only eleven years old (almost twelve).

Matt makes it easy to follow along with him, whilst then adding challenges later that require you to put pieces together and sometimes look for the answer (which means you learn how to problem solve as well as how to code). Thank you Matt.

This has been a great course to introduce the basics of coding. It's explained step by step and by the end, it has all clicked into place. I'm really pleased with what I've produced on the course, and look forward to taking it further.

I had done a little bit of coding in school and had always been keen to learn how to code better and keep progressing with it. Thanks to SheCodes I can code in HTML and CSS and I learnt how to use JavaScript! Thank you SheCodes :) I can't wait to start 'SheCodes Plus' next week!!

Prior to this workshop, I only had some very basic HTML knowledge from 15 years ago, but I can now work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript after just three weeks! It has been a steep, and very productive, learning curve. The structure of the workshop is good with categorised learning videos, a supportive online environment with moderators and other learners and you are held accountable with several assignments per week which is a great motivation!

I found the format of the workshop was done in way to make it as easy as possible for the students and the team was supportive throughout the workshop.

I always thought that coding is something like mathematical equations all over the place, which is not my cup of tea. It turned out I was completely wrong, and although it isn't as easy as it sometimes seems, I quite enjoyed the lectures and challenges. I learned a lot, and this is a good beginners course, and I think I'll try to learn more.

Ive always wanted to learn how to code but never knew where to start or find resources, the SheCodes workshop has allowed me to begin my coding journey in a fun and challenging environment!

I've absolutely loved studying this workshop and never thought coding would be as fun as it has been. The format is excellent & the balance of supporting but also encouraging me to find out the answers on my own has helped me learned a lot in a short time. I'll be booking a space on SheCodes Plus React, asap.

Great course that simply explains what seems like a super complex thing. It doesn't limit you to only one possible solution but let you find your own best way and then offers you alternatives.

I would certainly recommend this course! It's very easy to follow the instructions in order to finish the challenges and projects at the end of the week! It can get a bit challenging at times but it's totally doable! I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes has given me the confidence to pick up coding again. Each video was easily digestable and I loved putting the theory into practice at the end of each one. The end of week workshops were challenging but no so much that I wanted to throw my laptop out of the window. Thank you Matt and team!

SheCodes is a great way to get started and begin to make sense of it all if you are just getting into coding. The deadlines and accountability ensure you progress through the tasks and there is plenty of help available if you get stuck.

All I have to say is - SIGN UP today! Absolutely loved the course. Easy to understand and follow, while at the same time providing the foundation on which you can build yourself in whichever direction you decide to continue. Well done to the team behind it.

I have had such a good time learning more about HTML, CSS and JavaScript! The course material is so easy to follow, you can do it in your own time and it makes coding fun! I feel like I have the basics to understand more about coding languages, and have more meaningful conversations as a Product Owner. I'm so glad I took on this course as it has gained me a new skill. Initially I was never interested in coding as it looked too confusing for me however, this course taught me the importance of coding and it's taught me that coding is not too difficult to understand, I even managed to finish the course a week early!

SheCodes is amazing!!! It is enjoyable, easily informative and it is a coding education platform that ACTUALLY makes you WANT to do the work and put in the effort to code. I am very happy with all of my projects so far and whenever I have asked for assistance (ahem...wrong homework submission 🤦🏾‍♀️😆), it was given without hesitation. Matt is very patient and calm in his tone in the lesson videos. You also don't get the feeling that he's rushing you, which is useful when you're learning something like this and which I especially found helpful. The content is concise and easy to retain in my head and once you get the hang of it (which is easy to do with this course), it really lets your creativity go and you discover a whole new art form. Coding. The artistic flair of computing language. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to any woman who is taking up coding as a career path or even as a constructive and creative hobby. Great way to learn, especially if you need to fit learning around a job/other commitments

I'm completely new to coding but this course has given me a love for front end development and I'm looking forward to doing more in the future!!!

The three week workshop was really good to get the starting blocks for understanding how to put a website together, I'd like to have had a little more guidance on where to go with it next (other than plus!), but have really enjoyed working on my project :)

Signed up to this on a whim as I wanted to learn something new, and I'm so glad I did - I learned that I love coding! If you have even a passing interest in programming I'd highly recommend it, and I will probably be back for more :)

19 year old student, currently studying International Business and Spanish at the University of Edinburgh. I signed up to code because it's always interested me and I figured lockdown would be the best time to have a go. Really enjoyed the course!

The most wonderful coding workshop! I attended one of the free workshops and decided I wanted to progress further. The broken down lessons were clear to understand and the challenges ensured you knew and understood what you had just learnt. Honestly would recommend to anyone I know and I hope to carry on further with the advanced workshops at a later date. The slack platform was very helpful and allowed peers to help and support each other as well as the key staff on hand to help. Can't thank you all enough! 💜

This was a very accessible coding course! The workshops were a managable work load divided into small steps, which made completing it easier. I felt much more confident with my coding. I think the weekly homeworks keep you on top of things and it's nice to have a project at the end! I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants an introduction to coding!
