It was an okay course, but not worth the money.
When I first looked at a code years ago I said to myself that is impossible for me to do that. Well, I did it. Matt has excellent teaching skills and his way of explaining everything made it easy to understand and follow. I am looking forward to continuing learning with SheCodes PLUS and SheCodes PLUS REACT.
SheCodes is a great way for women to learn a lot about coding in a short amount of time. Must be very disciplined to teach yourself much of the coursework. It is very rewarding in the end and I feel I have learned many skills that I was too intimidated to even think about before.
I believe this is one of the best online platforms to learn how to code, the basics of coding and the syntaxes of some of the most used programming languages. The idea is great, and the way that Matt teaches is really reasonable to understand. I totally recommended it.

I've been trying to get into computer programming for ages but always found with other online resources that I didn't know what to do once I got stuck. SheCodes has been amazing because Matt breaks everything down in a really easy to understand way, and if I ever run into trouble there's always someone on hand to help out! Highly recommend it!
I am the kind of person who generally has no computer skills whatsoever and struggle to even convert a file to a pdf, so the thought of learning to code seemed daunting. However this course has honestly been so enlightening. The weekly projects keep me coming back and the videos you can go back to at any time are so useful. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting a taster into coding. It has made me reconsider what I want to do next in life!
A good intro to coding. The lessons are easy to follow and Matt talks through everything clearly and gives examples. I like being able to actually deliver a final project from scratch and put into use what I learnt, it gives a real sense of achievement.

SheCodes is very thorough in the way they teach every lesson. If you get stuck there are always multiple resources and ways you can get assistance. Would recommend to literally everyone at any level!
I fell in love with coding in the introductory course, now in the Plus, I was able to develop much more skills and create a weather app in the end! It was awesome to build something from scratch! Because we build little by little every week it is much more stimulating than most online courses that just give you classes and at the end you need to do a big project from zero. SheCodes approach is much better and more exciting for learning! Looking forward to React!
I am extremely happy to attend the SheCodes workshops. Coding is not as bad as they paint it. It's a lot of fun and a great joy when it works!

With a wealth of online coding courses out there, it's hard to know which to trust and which will be most beneficial to a complete beginner! I was looking for a hands-on, fun and ultimately not too overwhelming approach to learning code- SheCodes ticked all the boxes! Hooray.
The workshop was easy to understand, and the challenges really helped to practice what was taught in the lessons. It has been really enjoyable, and I'm excited to use everything I've learnt moving forward.

I have really enjoyed doing this workshop. It's very quick, but good to get to grips with the terminology and I now have a much better understanding of basic HTML, CSS and JS coding. Very good!

I have learned a lot in 3 weeks and enjoyed it more than I thought. I was initially a little apprehensive about how I would find the course because I was always under the impression coding was very difficult to learn from the outset, but I realize now that is just misinformation we sometimes hear! It was surprisingly easy to understand once broken down into manageable lessons and great teaching. I recommend this to everyone and say don't be put off or intimidated by the idea of coding. SheCodes Workshop totally exceeded all expectations of what I thought the course would be like, and what I would gain from doing it. The prospect of learning how to code (effectively from scratch!) was daunting at first, but the course format, structure of each lesson, set tasks/challenges and weekly homework projects made my coding journey not only fun and digestible, but also extremely rewarding. Being able to receive personal feedback as well as learn and take inspiration from other coders on the Slack channel was a real bonus, and it has been great to be part of the community! I'm really pleased with the knowledge and skills I've gained from doing the Workshop course, and can't wait to challenge myself further with SheCodes Plus/Plus React π.

SheCodes has taught me so much in only 3 weeks, I now have a good understanding of the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and how it all fits together to build a webpage. I find myself exploring the code of webpages that I come across via the inspect option in Google Chrome. I particularly enjoyed the final project where I have applied my learning to build my very own landing page. Even if I do not take SheCodes further I can say that I have learned skills and knowledge which are highly valuable in the digital age that we live in.
I have really enjoyed this course. It is challenging and fun. The SheCodes team are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the React course :) I love seeing everyone's projects! It's really inspiring. Thank you SheCodes!

I've learnt so much from SheCodes Plus; I was a complete beginner before I did the SheCodes Workshop and I'm very proud of what I can now do. The Plus course has been challenging and was more intensive than the Workshop but it is broken up into manageable sections and you can do the lessons whenever you want so you can fit it around your routine. I'm looking forward to learning more in the React course!

I work a Full-Time job and was able to learn so much at my own pace and time. Challenging but fun! Though it's online learning, I always managed to get the help I needed if I was stuck on something. I never thought I would be able to create my own weather app! The lessons were in bitesized videos so it's easy to digest and can go back if I needed to refer back to anything. Thanks SheCodes team, I can't wait to learn more!

Very efficient way to learn coding.
SheCodes has been first proper introduction to coding, I can't believe I've already come to the end of SheCodes Plus! This workshop has been so insightful, although it is challenging, part of the fun of coding is to play around and figure out how to improve. Using JS to create interactive elements is a skill I've always wanted to learn and this workshop has really opened my eyes to what I can create and how to code it!
SheCodes broke everything down into steps and instructions so simply! I found the pace really good for a beginner but enjoyed the challenge of trying something new too! I would recommend this workshop to anyone looking for some coding experience and canβt wait to get started on the next SheCodes course! β¨

Brilliant start to coding. The videos are so easy to follow along and I think Matt describes the content and instructions really well. You learn a lot over 3 weeks and the frequent challenges really help to cement that knowledge.

Being a medical student, juggling three jobs, course work and medical placement; I didn't think it was even remotely possible to pick up a new skill like coding! I always thought it would be wayy too difficult and I wouldn't find the time but this course made it so straight forward to build a foundation. I am so happy now as I will be able to explore a whole new world of ideas and innovations and be able to know the basic working of them. Can't wait to see what the future holds, maybe build a website or even an app?! Who knowsπ
Really fun! Some bits on the course were tricky but having Slack where you can ask for help was really useful. By the end I could tell I had definitely learnt a lot and made progress :)
