SheCodes Plus has been a great and challenging experience. I have developed my skills from the workshop and understand front-end web development, to the point where I can confidently recreate what I see on a web page. The team at SheCodes have been so helpful on Slack, and it is great to see other students work showcased online. I am looking forward to starting SheCodes React soon, and I have even signed up to an external course to follow on from SheCodes so I can keep learning to code. 👩💻
After completing the Introduction to Coding course back in summer, I was looking forward to developing my knowledge and testing myself - the Plus course definitely delivered! On many occasions I found myself frustrated when working through the weekly lessons and challenges, but when I began the homework I was surprised to realise how much I'd actually taken in and that it was a lot easier than anticipated. It was really fun and I've loved working on my project, from building my initial wireframe to spending hours working on and streamlining my JavaScript. There are some improvements that I'd like to have made to the code of my final project, but I took on board Matt's advice of only coding what you understand, not copying and pasting. I know that with time and patience I'll gain an even more advanced understanding, but I'm pretty stoked with what I've built considering six months ago my only knowledge of code was (very) basic HTML from the days of MySpace!
SheCodes has given me a much clearer understanding of coding and I am excited to continue learning and developing my knowledge.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. SheCodes workshop is a great introduction to coding! I tried a few different courses over the years but this one definitely stands out. SheCodes offers a great learning format with relevant challenges to help you progress. I have definitely gained a better understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript and I'm now ready to take the next steps.
Withouth any doubt, I totally recommend this workshop to everyone! The modules are very well designed and segmented to allow you a smoothly progress. A remarkable introduction to the world of coding. I am glad that I participated in this programme because I've gained a good understanding of the HTML, CSS and Java Script basics. The systematic structure of this programme i.e. the dynamic video tutorials, problem-solving exercise and worked-solutions has made learning easier!
I always thought of coding as part of an elite, something that was so far outside my grasp. However, it has always been something that has really triggered an interest within me. But my main problem was not knowing how or where to begin, and that's when I came across SheCodes, a course that provides with all the tools and help you need to get started. Without a doubt, I signed up for my first 3 week workshop, and I was not disappointed! I have now changed career course and would love to explore the coding world even more! With the help and support from SheCodes, nothing is outside my grasp. I want to thank the SheCodes team for the support network they have set up for all of their students, and how they have enabled and opened up a world I didn't think "was meant for me".
I really enjoyed this SheCodes workshop, it was challenging and helped me to realise that I'm capable of pushing myself to achieve more than I think, even if it seemed difficult sometimes. I absolutely loved the SheCodes 3 week Workshops! I became interested in coding about a month ago and wanted to take a course to see if it was something I wanted to pursue further. I took SheCodes' free coding class and thought I would try the 3 week coding workshops. The workshops explained all the concepts really well and started from scratch. This really allowed me to start building my knowledge from day 1 and the best part was that it was really easy for me to fit it around my work schedule! I didn't think I would be able to create a landing page from scratch but I have and I'm so proud of myself. The workshops have given me the confidence to keep coding and keep learning. If you are thinking about going into tech and want to try your hand at coding, take the plunge and do the 3 week SheCodes workshops. I promise you won't regret it!
I would highly recommend this workshop! It's incredible, extremely informative and well-taught and has made me fall in love with coding. I will definitely be taking SheCodes Plus in the future!

I have learnt so much completing this weather app project with SheCodes! There were definitely some challenges but help was at hand on Slack when I got stuck! I loved it! I didn't expect to enjoy coding quite as much as I have, but now I'm strongly considering taking it further and continuing to learn more.
This is a perfect course for ladies wanting to dip their toes into HTML/CSS/JS. You won't be able to become a developer straight away but it will help you decide if coding is something you want to pursue. It has given me a better understanding of how these 3 languages work together.
Loved the easy to follow bite-size lessons which I could fit comfortably around work and family. The assignments were challenging at times (in a good way) but the support from the other ladies in the group was great.
I'm not sure I have learned a lot in areas beyond HTML and CSS. The course provides some useful insights, but Javascript is about coding and this course doesn't teach you how to code at all. I've learned a few tricks, but I was hoping to learn how to code front-end applications and I haven't. I've learned how to search for resources I need and "copy/paste", but not to think like a programmer.
I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to learn more about coding! As a beginner, I was a little overwhelmed by the thought of starting something like this, but I absolutely love it. Matt explained everything very clearly, and each task was challenging but not overwhelming. Thank you!

As a complete newbie to coding, I was sceptical about spending money on something I might not enjoy, but I was surprised how creative coding can be! I like how interactive the course is and that you are challenged instead of spoon-fed, though help is there if you need it.
I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I like to create and innovate and experience new things and of course learning languages , which method is similar to coding, ( i had to realize!). It did open up new doors for me to create. Again the pace is challenging, but not impossible to follow, the level of difficulty increases in a way that you feel like you're learning, but don't get overwhelmed. I had no prior coding experience before joining and this has been a great introduction. I have enjoyed getting to grips with the basics and putting into practice everything I have learnt in the final project.

It was a struggle to actually find time to complete this workshop. Not because the workshop was difficult but because real life was mad! Lovely Daniela was always handy to give me extensions on the deadlines 😊 I loved to learn a bit more about coding, although, I must confess, it was a little frustrating to achieve a few things (like retrieving the correct time for the app 🤯 ). On the other hand, when I managed to get hold of how things worked, I did a little victory dance 😅 I would strongly recommend this workshop to everyone wanting to learn coding, even if you don't have any coding background (I'm the perfect example for that!) Thanks to all for this amazing experience! And see you on React 🤓

I have learned a lot during this 3-week workshop. Coding sounds very daunting but once you start doing it, it is a very satisfying work as you can instantly see the result. I would recommend this to anyone like me who is interested in learning and getting into coding but don't have any idea where to start. There are resources on the internet but I like it when it's organised and presented by someone who is experienced in the field to guide and this is the perfect option.

I thoroughly enjoyed this coding course, and perhaps think it's something I've found a real interest in!! I work in digital advertising and now feel I understand a lot more about what happens in the background of my work. I can't recommend this course enough. The classes were easy to follow along, and didn't feel like a serious lecture - Matt makes it fun and it's as if you're just being shown something by a colleague! Anybody can do this.
I think SheCodes+ was a great way to learn more Advanced coding skills. I definitely enjoyed the workshop although it was challenging at times. I highly recommend this to everyone who is interested in coding and web development.

I am so happy that I accidentally found the SheCodes Workshop and I am even more happy that I have decided to do it! I did not know anything about coding, I was a total beginner thinking that I don't have anything to lose even if I wouldn't like it. It turned out that I liked it a lot and I enjoyed all the lessons, homework and the final project! Now that I have learnt the basics, I am ready to dive in even deeper and continue moving forward with SheCodes! I would totally recommend it to anyone and I can truly confirm that coding is a lot of fun and creativity.

I found the course interesting, and really easy to follow along with. I like that the videos are short but really filled with information, and you can revisit them any time you need to.
After finishing the Introduction to Coding Course I knew I wanted to go further - what a great choice that was! From getting frustrated at code and those sneaky curly brackets to the reward of building my own app, following Matt's clear instructions and understanding the principles; it has been so good to broaden my horizon and understand the world of coding more. I'm looking forward to the React course to build on my knowledge further!
I found this workshop super enjoyable! I had zero coding experience before I signed up to SheCodes. The teaching material is organised in a really intuitive way which, in my opinion, allows users of all experience levels to engage successfully with the topic. It becomes apparent very quickly, once you begin the tutorials, that Matt is not only a very experienced coder, but a very competent teacher too. No regrets! This was a great investment in my personal development and I can't wait to begin the next workshop!
I would highly recommend this workshop! I really liked the step-by-step approach and we got to test everything by ourselves straight away. Like most of us I thought that coding was something extremely difficult that only men could do. But boy was I wrong! It's really not that hard and I definitely feel more confident now. And trust me, you'll find time in your busy life to do the workshop! I did it while being a medical intern and working 10-12h a day!

Learning to code has never been so fun! I was an absolute illiterate in coding but thanks to the simple, easy-to-follow video tutorials and online support I was able to get through the workshop with success. It's a coding course for everyone! Whatever level or ability it is so easy to follow and gives you such confidence after every successful challenge completed. This is also such a relevant skills and to learn at home in your own time with support through the online chat, is perfect.
It's incredible how much I've learned in only three weeks. The step-by-step lessons make it easier to digest even difficult concepts and teach you to build a webpage in no time!
