Amazing experience, so many hands-on projects, and a lot of learning. The way the course is run is so flexible that everyone can fit it easily around their busy schedule. The super supportive crew made the whole adventure fun yet still challenging :)
I have enjoyed coding with SheCodes, it is and experience that I will never forget. Obviously, I am now getting involving with the next code they have available "React". No regrets and really recommend it to anyone wanting to start a career in coding.

WOW! This has been quite the journey! It wasn't easy, but definitely worth it. I am so happy I upgraded from the Workshops and I can't wait to start on React too. Huge Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team for making this possible. What I love about this program the most is that you learn as you go and it's hands-on work with all the little challenges. It's definitely a good investment, especially if you want a career in the coding world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes experience. Matt is a fantastic instructor, who I couldn't recommend enough; the way he takes you through the code step by step makes the general learning experience seem easy. Throughout the course you feel like you have plenty of support, Lexi checks in regularly and then there's the Slack chat, where you can go if you hit a sticking point. I can't believe it's over. I plan to continue learning with the end goal of changing my career
A great workshop, lets you work at your own pace if you're having to work around your life to finish it. Matt explains everything well and provides a lot of external sources to look at to do more research. I'd consider changing my career to coding in the future if my life leads me there, for now it's good to have the basic knowledge!
I really enjoyed doing this 3 week workshop. I knew absolutely nothing about coding at the beginning but the course was easy to understand and it made the whole process super fun! Now, I feel confident to learn even more about the world of coding!
I went from knowing literally nothing about coding to being able to create a basic webpage. Everything is very well explained and you are also encouraged to Google things and find solutions on your own which is great for learning. I liked that you could refer back tot he previous videos and lessons at any time. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

This is one of the best online courses I've ever taken! Coding was something I was a bit scare of, as it looks so difficult; however, with SheCodes I've learned so much in such a short time. I can't wait to start the next workshop and keep learning!
I have really enjoyed the challenge of learning more about coding. Seeing a design come to life on a screen is really cool. It's made me very eager to learn more and build more complex things! The lessons are designed to make it possible to learn after work and the help offered when required has been great.
I really enjoyed SheCodes workshop. Videos and exercises are clear and well-structured. Each exercise and homework teach you something else and on top of it they challenge you to do a little research which i loved! I cannot wait to continue with the rest of the course! :)

This workshop helped me with "reading a code" for any landing page or email I am working with. I'd learned the fundamentals of HTML & CSS previously, but was beginning to find it difficult to start putting it to proper practice. The workshop was a great refresher and helped me consolidate what I'd already learned, with the added bonus of breaking into JavaScript as well! The homework was fun, and I especially enjoyed the final project - I'm really excited & definitely more confident to proceed now. Thanks, Matt & the rest of the SheCodes team!

A great way to learn coding for beginners! Having done very little work with CSS, HTML or JavaScript before, I really enjoyed learning the basics step by step and applying them to my own project.

This course was amazing and definitely worth the money! I found it so useful for providing me with a helpful structure and good foundation for beginning my journey on learning how to code. I really felt that I progressed much faster as a result of this course than I might have done through pure self-directed study. I would highly recommend this course. You learn so much in such a short space of time but it's not too hard to keep up. It's invaluable to have Matt's insider knowledge on what tools to use and tricks to make life easier. For anyone interested in knowing more about web development, this course is great.

Coding is something I never thought I would enjoy as maths and logic based learning has never come easy to me. This course was absolutely what I needed to push myself through the fear of failure and open myself up to a whole new way of thinking and working. I absolutely loved every minute and could not recommend this course more!

This coding workshop was great! The layout of the lessons, homework and project were really manageable and definitely kept me engaged! I enjoyed the pace as it was not overwhelming. This workshop has definitely made me more interested in code!
I've thoroughly enjoyed this workshop - Matt's teaching style is super clear and being able to play the videos on demand or rewind to parts you want to see again is really helpful. I had a little HTML knowledge from a long time ago, this workshop has really helped me refresh that and learn a lot of new things too. I would recommend it even if you know a little HTML/CSS as you will learn a lot more throughout the course.
It's the best investment you could make. The lessons are so easy to follow and they are SO much fun! Nonetheless, it is such an easy way to learn so many things to get you started in the world of coding!

This course has been great! The learning is super easy to follow and the challenges along the way ensure that you can practice the different elements as you go. I would definitely recommend this workshop to someone that has no experience of coding before. I was surprised to find how creative the process has been but have really enjoyed this aspect.

What a great 3 weeks it has been! I have enjoyed every bit of it. Actually, I'm gutted it is over! The structure of the workshop was great for someone who hasn't have much experience with HTML/CSS or JavaScript and having the learning content in bite-sized chunks made it so much easier and engaging for me. My introduction to SheCodes was through the 1-hour free coding workshop. I enjoyed Matt's informal style of teaching and camaraderie and decided to sign up for the beginner programme. I am happy to say that his style of teaching carried on through the weeks. He breaks down the concepts into simpler details that are easy to understand. I really enjoyed the fact that for the weekly homework, I could go further than what was required as long as I used the concepts I learned during that week. The final project also created an opportunity for me to create a page for something I have been wanting to. SheCodes radio was also an additional interesting feature. I have enjoyed it and will definitely be pursuing coding further.
Starting with learning the basics has really set me up to want to learn more about coding. Being able to manipulate simple code to create what I want, even with trial and error, has been very enjoyable. Hopefully will be coding in the future to come, thanks to this course!

Highly Recommend! Coming from a Textile Design background I had no prior knowledge of coding, but wanted to expand my skillset. The introductory course is incredibly well laid out, covering all the basics in a clear comprehensible way. The challenges and weekly homework is a fantastic feature as it really allows you to put what you're learning into practice! After only three weeks, I can't believe what I've been able to achieve, and I'm excited to continue developing why newly found skills!

Learning to code with SheCodes has been so much fun. Matt is an amazing teacher and explains everything very carefully making it very easy to follow and understand. I love how learning is structured but still gives you the freedom to do it at your own pace. The girls in the slack community are very supportive and ready to help with any problems. I really enjoyed this course, it gave me a good grasp on what coding is, as someone who hasn't learnt to code before. I enjoyed being able to create through coding and putting what I'd learned to use. The content wasn't too heavy, so I was able to fit it around other priorities without getting overwhelmed with the workload.

SheCodes has been one of the best decisions I've made lately, I learned a little bit about coding from back in my university days but never really took it anywhere. Now in the current climate we're in, I realised it was time to do something different and gain new skills, I just wasn't sure what to do...until I was scrolling on Instagram one day and saw SheCodes ads. I thought why not try it. I'm so glad I did, it has given me a new motivation to upskill myself. And after seeing what Junior Developers earn in the UK I knew this was a skill that could eventually earn me some money in the future. Though it's been a bit challenging ensuring I have the time to complete the assignments, its worth it. I now have a skill and I'm loving it so far! I encourage you try it out for yourself π

This three-week workshop has been a great experience! It's challenged me and kept me busy during lockdown 2.0. After attending the introductory workshop session, I immediately decided to sign up. My university degree contained programming modules, however I still was not able to understand how to write code on my own. This workshop has been the first time I have able to comprehend the code I am writing. The format of the lessons were easy to follow and the slack community is extremely supportive.
I was recommended this course by a colleague and I'm so glad I signed up. I have really enjoyed it and feel like I've really learnt a lot in a very short space of time. I will definitely recommend to others.
I have really enjoyed using SheCodes, I love the format the way the topic is broken down and you can re-watch the videos too. The challenges after each topic really help cement what you have learned and allow you to use code as a coder would.
