This course is really well thought out. The lessons are the perfect bite-sized pieces, which build up your knowledge and you are then able to carry out the challenges and it all makes sense! Highly recommend doing this course to everyone.

I've improved my coding skills beyond my wildest dreams! Even though parts of the course have been quite difficult, the weeks have really flown by. The support provided by the SheCodes team (Matt, JoΓ£o & Lexi) has been awesome and there's always a friendly helper to lend a hand. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and deep-sea dive into the unknown world of coding, as It's opened my eyes to potential career opportunities for the future.
Coding felt like an unachievable goal with a tsunami of things to learn but SheCodes take you through it stage by stage without looking to the future, which all felt too intimidating, then suddenly you're three weeks down and you've happily done a lot of work without it feeling scary! Although still challenging I'm really looking forward to pursue this further, it's very satisfying work!
SheCodes introductory workshop has helped me change the way I view and understand how coding has a large impact to our everyday lives from all the software and programs we use.
I enjoyed this course, but I would've liked to cover more of the theory, rather than just learning tags. However, this is a good introduction to coding and you can quickly make simple pages.
This was my very first experience with coding. Being a nurse, my career couldn't be more far away from coding. However, Matt makes coding look very easy and intuitive. I'm seeking a career change, and I hope this was my first step. I will be upgrading to the longer workshops and I hope this is a life changer π€
I had no previous knowledge of code at all but it's always been something I would love to learn so I was nervous going in but SheCodes is absolutely incredible! I have completed a few courses recently and I believe SheCodes has the best set up I've seen. The online community on Slack is friendly, helpful, inclusive and you can find all the help you need if you get stuck on the tasks. SheCodes has found the perfect balance between providing support and giving the users flexibility to complete the course in their own time. Matt's videos are clear and easy to follow! I'm really enjoying the course and I am signing up for the React Plus as I want to keep learning. I also really love seeing everyones final projects!

During the pandemic, I thought about a change of career and decided to give it a go at coding. Obviously, it's natural to be skeptical about anything you buy online. This program was exactly what I was searching for to kick start my new carrier. The workshop is fantastic and very well structured also provides good examples. In just 3 weeks I have learned so much. I would highly recommend SheCodes, there is a great team ready to help if you get stuck with a challenge. I can not wait to start the advanced course soon.

What a challenging and incredibly rewarding experience! I joined SheCodes and I was able to learn how to code and to build a basic website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript within 3 weeks. I love the fact that I could work through the lessons on my own time and the Slack support was super helpful!

I have looooved this course! I have always wanted to learn to code and done so many courses but just didn't get it or wasn't engaged. This is super engaging, allowing you to code from the first lesson and with an amazing support system of the team and fellow students. Honestly so chuffed with what I've learnt. I loved it so much a crammed all 3 weeks work into 1!!

SheCodes Plus was challenging but it helped me to practice my HTML and CSS skills, learn advanced JS and familiarize myself with Git, GitHub and Netlify. I built my weather application with real-time data by using the OpenWeatherMap API.
Believe it or not I have actually had tonnes of fun so far and I can't wait to continue on with the next challenge!
Definitely the best entry into development if you don't have any clue where to start! The pace is a bit fast, but with a little help from Google you quickly grasp the concepts. Very cool skill to add to my resume!
I loved this beginners course and will definitely be signing up to the more advanced course! I'm a visual learner so I loved the video tutorials and the documentation for each class was helpful too. Finishing the final project was very satisfying! I know there is a lot more to coding and I can't wait to get started :)

The SheCodes Plus course has no doubt been challenging, however building on the skills I learned in the SheCodes Workshop to make a functioning weather site is an incredible feeling. The team on Slack are very helpful, and SheCodes have been very accomodating to me as I started a job half way through the programme! Would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to stretch their brain, whilst being able to build a project from scratch.

What a ride! From doing the very first free coding class, then completing my basic 3 week course and continuing to SheCodes Plus, I finally finished with the whole shebang and completed React as well. This was definitely challenging and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of Matt, Lexi and JoΓ£o who have all been very helpful and dedicated to make this a beautiful experience. The SheCodes community is amazing! I really enjoyed having access to the other students if I was ever in a pickle, and reading through other peoples contributions on Slack I learned a lot as well. I'm hoping to find a way to keep learning React and incorporate my new skill into the way I work (in my current field of urban forestry π²π³)- and hopefully create tools to make the world a better place. I wanted to learn a new skill that would have a positive impact on my career. I never thought even basics in Coding would be so stimulating, exciting and empowering. Now, I am motivated to move forward with my decision to learn to code as it is enhances my career prospects, drives curiosity and gives an opportunity to improve on both personal(don't forget patience and logical thinking!) and professional(superpowers) levels.

I simply couldn't learn software engineering before, though i've tried multiple times. SheCodes was the only workshop that made me really understand what coding is all about. I found this workshop so interesting and engaging! Before I started I had no experience in coding, so I was very apprehensive to enroll. I'm so happy that I signed up because now I'm confident with using the basic coding languages! The videos are so easy to follow along and the challenges at the end of each lesson are great to check your understanding of the topics. The SheCodes team on Slack were so helpful too! I have really enjoyed learning and creating amazing websites. I would recommend this for anyone to give it a try. All the sessions are easy to understand and the support group is amazing thing to have. This is definitely a skill worth having!
This is a great beginners course to get you started coding. I felt that while HTML and CSS were covered in good detail and very easy to understand, Javascript was not very easy to follow for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my course and will definitely continue coding.

This workshop is amazing! The learning structure is very easy to follow with very well paced video tutorials that explain everything step by step and challenges that make you replicate the tutorials to really instill the knowledge in you. Support is there 24/7 if you need it and the coding is taught in a really fun way, I would definitely recommend to anyone, you don't even need that much time set aside for it.

My background is in Psychology, project management and psychometric tests and I've always been interested in technology, especially with everything going digital in our current climate. I thought I'd give SheCodes a go, as I've tried other free courses on other sites but it wasn't as interactive and I couldn't get help when I needed. With SheCodes, everything is at your own pace as the videos are bite-sized and you can go back if you need to. However, the homework keeps you accountable. I enjoyed doing the challenges as I prefer learning by doing. The staff and fellow students are really friendly and helpful if you are stuck. Coding might seem scary at first, but it really isn't! If you've been thinking about learning to code, go for this course, it's a great way to learn and build your skillset!

I loved this course, I have had a few really busy weeks but still looked forward to getting back to my little projects.
