I was really enjoying the lessons and challenges throughout this course but the minute we got to the final project and I was coding about something I love, something clicked! I am really happy that I am now able to be creative through coding and I am delighted that I have signed up for SheCodes Plus; Basics was brilliant but I feel like I have just gotten started and there is a lot more to learn!
If you've done SheCodes basics and are on the fence about signing up for Plus - do it! Yes, JS functions and API take some time to get your head around (maybe that was just me!). Like the basics course, each step is broken down into smaller lessons so it doesn't feel stressful. I think the GitHub and Netlify week is really useful if you're looking to build a portfolio/switch careers and develop a best practice.
Before I started this class, I had no experience with coding at all. This workshop was very insightful and has taught me new skills. I have learnt so much and I cannot wait to progress even further and put my new skills to use. I highly recommend this course! Thank you SheCodes.

Entering the SheCodes Basics Add-On course with a foundational understanding of web development, I was seeking to elevate my skills to the next level, and this course did not disappoint. It provided a structured and comprehensive deep dive into CSS and HTML, which was exactly what I needed to progress from basic to more advanced concepts. The CSS Grids module was particularly impactful. While I had a basic grasp of CSS, the course's in-depth exploration of Grids enabled me to construct sophisticated, responsive layouts confidently. This skill was a significant leap forward from my initial understanding and has been instrumental in enhancing the professionalism of my web design projects. Another area where I experienced considerable growth was in CSS transforms. This part of the course added a new dimension to my skillset, allowing me to incorporate engaging animations and dynamic elements into my web designs, something I had previously only touched upon. Additionally, the course's focus on HTML class manipulation refined my approach to structuring web pages. It improved my efficiency and effectiveness in styling and organizing content, a vital skill in clean, scalable web development. I'm able to walk away from this workshop with a fully functional weather forecast application. It was a good introduction to everything that goes into building a basic page, however, I think this workshop could prove tricky if you do not have a technical background as there is a lot of self-learning.
Great workshop! The additonal lessons were a lot of fun, especially when adding some cool features to your page like theme changes and image transforms. It was great to learn how to improve user interaction with the landing pages we created.
I enjoyed the last hurdle of making the weather app bringing everything I've learnt together with real data using API integration.

Following on from SheCodes Basic, I was ready for another challenge. Making the Vanilla Weather App with SheCodes Plus has been challenging but I've been able to use the support system on SheCodes Slack to assess any problems I couldn't figure out by myself and I am really proud of my Weather App!

As a new mum looking for a career change I wanted a course that was going to be fun and easy to follow, while also holding me accountable for my own learning. I find the deadlines help to keep me on track and the homework and project help me to see the progress I have made.
Would thoroughly recommend. A really good, practical and interactive introduction to coding with bite size videos and exercises to make the whole thing more manageable.
The Responsive workshop helped me to develop my current skills and gain new ones. I feel a lot more confident having taken this extra workshop.

SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to coding, I had so much fun learning how to use HTML/ CSS and JavaScript. Matt gave a great overview on what to expect when learning code. For someone who had literally no knowledge of coding, learning to code can be daunting but the SheCode Basic course made me feel confident and left me wanting to learn more, which is something I will definitely pursue.
SheCodes has been incredible. So much helpful information, beautifully layered up, to build a comprehensive understanding of complex processes very quickly. I have loved every moment of the Basics course and am so glad that I've got access to all of it on SheCodes Max! π I already feel very comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I look forward to learning how to code with Bootstrap and understanding other technologies.

I am so glad that I enrolled on the She Codes Plus coding course, and I must say it was a game-changer for me. This course has been fantastic in teaching me coding skills and I feel more confident, inspired, motivated, and ready to move on and learn more. The course was extremely informative, I learnt more than I initially realised but it was also delivered in a way that made complex coding concepts accessible and easy to understand. I was impressed by the depth and breadth of the material covered, and the hands-on approach which helped solidify my understanding of coding principles. I found I had enough support and guidance provided throughout the course when I got stuck, I received answers in a timely manner. I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment upon completing the course. I am thrilled with the final outcome of the project I worked on, and I can confidently say that I have developed a solid foundation in coding. Easy to follow workshop that helps to hone the skills learnt in the previous weeks lessons! It has helped a lot to solidify a lot of the knowledge learnt.
