I decided to sign up to SheCodes with no previous knowledge of coding and its been so good, I definitely look forward to learn more. Everything is really well explained and it made me feel very confident that I could do this.
This course was a perfect reminder of everything taught in the initial basics course. The add-on course provided additional knowledge regarding CSS and JavaScript and was overall a really fun course to participate in whilst gaining technical and practical knowledge.
So worthwhile learning to code in an increasingly digital and tech-based society.

I have been looking for a long time a way to try to learn more and more about programming. I tried websites, books, youtube videos, anything I could get my hands on, but I couldn't find a more practical method with which I could not only learn more but also enjoy myself while learning. When I signed up for the Shecodes course, I enjoyed from the first video to the last. It has been an incredible experience, that I have enjoyed a lot and that has not only taught me more about HTML, CSS and JAVA but has left me wanting to continue learning on this site!
I loved this course! It was the perfect introduction to coding and I felt like I learnt so much so quickly. The set up of the course made it so easy to learn, practice and then put everything together and Matt's lessons were all really clear and easy to understand. I felt fully supported the whole way through the course, it's so well thought through.
I have really enjoyed my 3 weeks of coding! It wasn't easy, but the workshops provide the right amount of challenge needed to learn and develop. I am looking forward to progressing through the different programmes!
I did Basic Add-On in 5 days and it was a fun ride. I highly recommend the workshop, I learned so much in this short period. I'm moving towards my goal of becoming a frontend developer. Yay!

I’m excited to share my recent coding project with you all! As a beginner in the world of coding, I set out to create a world clock that displays the current location, date, and time using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. This project taught me the power of determination and problem-solving, as I tackled various technical hurdles along the way. I first heard of SheCodes being advertised all over my social media, so I decided I try the trial class. I knew coding definitely interested me and would be beneficial for my future. As at the moment, I am a college student studying engineering and business, which the ambition to become a successful business owner in the foreseeable future. Coding has definitely helped me with my confidence when it comes to technology.
This add-on project was really fun! We learned a lot of cool ways to add more design and tweaks to our code to make a website look prettier and more functional. I really enjoyed this little project!

I highly recommend the web development courses! They're informative, well-structured, and have greatly improved my skills.
After taking a little while away, I've felt comfortable getting back into the course as Matt is consistently reminding you of things that can be easily forgotten and always explaining everything fully. The SheCodes community is wonderful to be a part of, you always feel supported and comfortable in asking any questions and making mistakes which is a major part of learning. This is the second course I have taken with SheCodes and it again has been an inspiring and achievable journey. As a Testing manager I wanted to understand more about coding to help support my team through our automation journey and this has certainly given me what I needed, actually more than I could have expected. I've thoroughly enjoyed completing the SheCodes Basics course and I'm so proud to show off my certificate! It's been a real learning journey so far and I'm not just referring to the skills I've learnt with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Another key lesson has been not to give up. When there's a bug in the code, it is there somewhere, I've just got to find it and it has often been as simple as a missing "+". It's so satisfying to suddenly find the fix and realise my code was otherwise valid! Looking forward to embarking on the next part of the course now.
The course is highly practical and the tasks allow you to build up the skills gradually. I particularly appreciated the tasks dealing with developer tools. The information given is up-to-date and the presentation is interesting. The course also gamifies learning making each new stage feel like a new level in a game.
Put this off for a while but really pleased I did it! The lessons were great to follow and worked really well as they are done at your own pace. Having known nothing about coding I really didn't know what to expect but it really is for all ability's. Would really recommend!
This was a great intro to coding. I literally knew nothing before and by week 3 I felt like I could play around with the languages and understood the basics!

I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little insight into the art of coding. The content is easy to understand and there are interesting exercises and challenges. Overall it's really fun! My goal is to get to frontend development and get a job as a frontend developer. So far, I feel that this is achievable based on my experience during this workshops.

I've always wanted to learn how to code and build websites but I was never able to find a reasonably priced and fun course that I could stick to. That all changed when I found Shecodes. I have had so much fun and learned a lot in just a few weeks. The interface is appealing and easy to use and I really like the fact each class requires you to immediately put what you learned into practice. This really helped new principles stick. I am looking forward to completing the next workshop!

I had a lot of fun building this website and applying everything that I learnt into one project. It was quite challenging to learn all of the different frameworks but it was worth the time and effort to build the skills.
I started this workshop not knowing a single thing about coding and I can say with all honesty that it's taken me from a 1 to a 10. I will definitely be trying out another workshop to improve my skill set😊
I feel like I have gained a lot from the course, the lessons were quick and helpful and l always felt like l had support through slacker. I have a better grasp of what goes into building a website and found the course very interesting and insightful. I got to do the lessons at my own pace which was amazing and gave me the time to enjoy what I was learning.

I have really enjoyed creting this project. I had a few bumps in the road which meant I had to restart but the videos make it very easy to retrace your steps and I feel like I also learnt alot abotu the process through doing this. I am feeling much more confident with my coding and I'm excited to start the next project!
