Helped me learn the fundamentals, I thought it would be confusing and math heavy so I was overwhelmed but this course really broke it down well and now I understand the basics.
The course is very interesting and accessible for totally beginners. I can also advise it for those who don't have English as their native language. Matt is a great coach. He clearly explains everything. I enjoy it!
The beginners coding workshop was perfect for someone like me, looking to see if coding was something they were interested in pursuing. With no experience in coding at all, the combination of bite-size videos and weekly assignments made it really fun to learn. I can't believe it only takes 3 weeks to learn how to build a website! This course is wonderful - it's fluent, uses short lessons and quick tasks that really improve the learning process, it's fun and with a flexible timeline - SheCodes is really the best online course I've ever taken! I especially enjoyed the design part of it - web development is such a cool way to express your ideas!

It's been great to step out of my comfort zone and trying something new! I use basic HTML and CSS properties with my job but I was surprised at how much more I learned. Its been hard to put aside time to work around my normal workload but it's been very enjoyable!

I enjoyed the course. The videos were not too long, and covered just enough of each topic. The challenges and homework assignments were a good way to practise what I'd just learned. I appreciated the structure and the deadlines as they made me keep up the momentum. And, I enjoyed the final project.

3 weeks ago I didnβt know anything about coding, now Iβm capable of writing basic codes. I feel so excited about the journey I have started! Canβt wait to join another workshop. Great course for beginners. We learned the basic programming tools in three weeks. The teaching methodology includes not only the presentation of material, but also stimulates independent work and the search for something new.

These past weeks I realized again after a long long time, that learning indeed can be fun. I just needed the right lessons and method of studying, which I found here at SheCodes. The lessons are easy to understand and the exercises afterwards are simple to do and help a lot to digest the new information. The homework at the end of the week were a great way for me to try my best to utilize what I've learned. I can't wait for the coming lessons it'll definitely be an interesting experience.

I came across SheCodes on an advertisement and found myself curiously putting my name down for the next 'Intro to Coding' class - it was enough to convince me to join the beginners workshop! These past few weeks I have found myself going through a cycle of questioning my capability to even learn the language of coding to feeling like I can accomplish anything! Matt has created an excellent virtual learning environment and I agree that "coding is fun"!
