I would highly recommend anyone to embark on the amazing journey of learning how to code with SheCodes. Matt is a talented instructor whose guidance and explanations are always on point, especially for absolute beginners. The classes and the workload expected are very well distributed over the three weeks, and this makes it easy to follow and be motivated to complete the workshop. I've particularly enjoyed the regular challenges, which were a great way to test my knowledge and progress over time. I genuinely cannot wait to keep learning with more advanced workshops!

I couldn't find a better introduction to course, SheCodes was the best choice i could ever made. I am really considering going forward on coding.

Matt explains each and every logic behind all the variables so well that, if you have a little imagination and endurance to trial/failure process, you can even do more than the things you learned in the lectures. But I am definitely going to take other classes too!

I came across SheCodes on instagram and decided to give it a try since I am studying IT Management in college and wanting to upgrade my coding skills, Over the 3 weeks I have really enjoyed what I have learned and the workshops are really detailed and go through everything piece by piece. It was really challenging at times but definitely worth the time and I am glad I decided to do it! Definitely a good experience for beginner Coders!

I am currently working in the Sales Department at a Tech company and I signed up for SheCodes as a way to up-skill and broaden my technical knowledge. I started as a beginner since all the knowledge that I had was based on my MySpace HTML time, from about 15 years ago 🙂 The workshop is easy to follow and the challenges and homework fun to solve. SheCodes comes with a great community of other women interested in coding that you can connect and interact with via Slack 👩🏼‍💻👩🏽‍💻👩🏿‍💻and support is always available too! The past 3 weeks have been so insightful and I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

Coding classes are nicely done!

This course was beyond amazing. I always thought coding was hard because it looked intimidating, so I always opted out and left it for the "nerds". Now here I am, loving it and repenting from my presumptions. I'M ADDICTED!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This workshop was great to start learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The tutorials were short and sweet and the exercises helped to apply the learnings. In addition, you get live support through the Slack Community so you are definitely not alone - I would encourage all women that have an interest in coding to give it a try, it's definitely worth it and makes a ton of fun! 🙌🏽

I thought the course was a really good basic introduction to html, Css and Java

I really enjoyed Matt's lessons and the challenges, but most of all I enjoyed coding. It's satisfying to see programs that you just wrote function.

I have, and will continue to highly recommend this course to people I know. The video lessons are interesting and easy to follow, the challenges are engaging and the weekly homework is very compelling. Matt is passionate about what he teaches and is extremely encouraging and cheerful going into the challenges and assignments. I have always been curious about coding and finally decided to get stuck in and apply for an online course with SheCodes, I am so glad I did and cannot wait to enroll for another course with SheCodes in the future.

This course was quite challenging for me at some point. I am glad I managed to get through it, despite the difficulties and setbacks. All in all, I got more insights on coding and learnt more about my limits and potential.

I've enjoyed every minute of this course. It's so well organized and everything is explained step by step so you don't get overwhelmed with all the new things you have to learn. You always have assistance if you have any questions or you get stuck at some point in your coding. I've never thought coding and creating a website could be this fun!! Thank you SheCodes!!

This was a great well-paced course! I loved how it was broken up into nice small sections so that everything was really clear. I also liked how each section had its own challenge as I found this extremely helpful when trying to understand the class.

I would highly recommend SheCodes: the curriculum is broken down into easily understandable parts and is explained thoroughly, every step of the way. The deadlines kept me motivated and all of Matt's advice and best practice tips are what set this program apart from other coding schools. That we work in VS Code is a massive benefit, too (vs. in browser exercises).

This workshop was a huge challenge and the first step to change my career. I really enjoyed it and could see the progress after just three weeks! Looking forward to keep learning and develop new skills. I would definetely recommend this workshop ;)

The SheCode Introduction to Coding Workshop was a great course to understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It helped me to understand how websites work and taught me how to make my own researches to complete what the course could not cover in the 3 weeks. 😎

SheCodes was an opportunity to learn more about the different aspects of a product development process. It strengthened my knowledge and encouraged me to pursue my career in tech. I particularly enjoyed the creative aspects of the course.

Being a liberal arts major, who has zero background in anything tech, this 3 week course gave me an opportunity to discover a skill I never thought of gaining. I enjoyed how beginners friendly this course was. The fact that that it was only 3 weeks long, it was easy for me to commit. I enjoyed how each lesson had a challenge and homework which made me feel productive and wanting more. I appreciate how thoughtful Matt was when creating this course as it allowed me to feel less intimidated of tech especially coding. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone!

Highly recommend this React course. As with the previous courses Matt delivers easy to follow, comprehensive lessons and challenges that gradually help you build an understanding of React. I personally found Javascript vanilla difficult to use and implement. However I found React much easier and simple to work with.

Taking this five-star workshop was just the rightful choice. Easy to follow, fun, and challenging enough. It will surely make you eager to learn more about coding!

I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops! I was always very curious about coding, but never really had the time to explore this world, when this course came up on my LinkedIn feed it felt perfect timing! I first went to the free coding class with Matt and in just that 1h I learned so much. The SheCodes Online Workshop is suited for students of all ages and for beginners, it's well-paced, and at the end of each lesson, we have the opportunity to also practice with homework and projects. We are fully supported, if we have any difficulties on the projects we can ask the technical assistants and fellow students, and Matt is a brilliant teacher! After this workshop, I'm thinking to continue my studies in coding!

Great introductory course, I had a little knowledge of HTML but this has given me more insights into how everything fits together and some tools to keep on learning. The community on slack is great and really helpful.

I have spent years in Marketing but having worked with developers, I always had an urge to learn the basics and be able to code! This course was easy to digest as well as always having someone there for guidance if needed through Slack. I loved the community aspect and being able to see others on their journey too. I really enjoyed the weekly projects and look forward to continuing to code!

Really enjoyed this course. Just the right pace even for a brutal beginner and former technophobe without stopping to be challenging. This made me explore a skill outside my own comfort zone and gave me the confidence to deepen those skills. Thanks Matt & SheCodes-Team!

Never in a million years did I think that I would enjoy coding so much! Matt and the team made everything so easy to understand and help was always on hand over on Slack if ever I got into a jam. The challenges were so much fun and I loved creating my own page from scratch for the final project. As a graphic designer I am always asked by clients if I can create web pages and I am so happy that I can finally add coding to my skill set. I would 100% recommend this course to any ladies looking to gain some working knowledge about coding.

I found the team at SheCodes so supportive and understanding. I started in May with no experience and have just secured a place on a Masters course starting this September! It can be challenging at times but so worth it! The videos and instructions are easy to follow but Slack is always there when i'm struggling. 10/10, would recommend to anyone looking to start

I absolutely loved the SheCodes, It was a great experience, a great teacher and a support team that helped me a lot. The platform, being geared towards women, motivated me even more to take this course.

I found the workshop easy to follow and very interactive. I took other courses before but they were not as the same quality, I've never thought that I could learn a lot of things in 3 weeks.

I've always been interested in coding and this was an amazing introduction course! Each lesson was broken down really well, easy to follow and the final project was a really fun experience!

I really love this course. I cannot wait to start SheCodes Plus followed by SheCodes React. I have always wanted to be more than a Quality Assurance Engineer. Now, I am on my way to become a Front-End Developer. If anything, I could see myself pursuing my dreams all the way to becoming a Video Game Developer. I was always scared of programming thinking that it had a lot of math. I also was scared of not being enough, because I am a woman. I really love SheCodes!

I have had so much fun learning to code. Although I have definitely found some of the modules hard, I have really enjoyed figuring out how to do it and solving problems. As someone with (what I thought was) good computer knowledge, SheCodes has opened my eyes to so much more. As a student ready to start University, I have experienced some of what my degree may offer me. It has also became a hobby I wish to partake in as much as possible and expand my computer science knowledge further. Even if you are still on the fence about learning coding or trying something new, I would simply say go for it!!! Thank you Matt nad to the SheCodes team 👩‍💻

I really enjoyed this three week intro to coding. Before taking this course I thought that learning to code would be impossible, but I now understand the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who is interested in learning how to build websites.

This course was a great intro to coding. The short demo videos are easy to follow. The homework and project were really challenging but very enjoyable! I would recommend the course and plan to continue learning with SheCodes.

A brilliant introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Matt does a great job explaining the basics of front-end development in this 3-week course and I was already able to use my new skills to solve a work problem without running to our website designer! The lessons are nice and short and I was able to do finish everything during a few evenings after work or on the weekend - it's not too time-consuming.

I never thought that coding would be so fun! Just in less than three weeks you get to acquire useful skills and take on new challenges. Matt's explanations make the lessons very easy to follow, and the rest of the staff is very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended for creative people who are eager to learn and take up a new hobby or career.

I do believe it's never too late to start pursuing something you always want to do and it's happened to me with coding. This time last year I would not see myself to be able to create a web page from the scratch and today I'm publishing my very first coding piece of work 🤩 Thank to this pandemic for giving me more free-time to seriously focus on coding and with SheCodes, my self-taught coding journey has been so much easier. A big call out to Matt and João who have been so accommodating and patient to address all of my inquiries on Slack including "silly" ones 😂🙈🙏.
