Participating in the coding fundamentals program has been an incredible three weeks of my life. I enjoyed every aspect of the program and having to complete the challenges on my own encouraged me even more. My enthusiasm for coding has grown even more, and I am eager to learn more!ππ₯°
I am very grateful to Matt and the whole team for the opportunity to take the courses "SheCodes". The learning process not only distracts from sad thoughts, but also gives the opportunity to get a different profession and faith in a better future. Now I have a feeling that my life is not in vain, at this time when I am a temporary refugee. I just finished my first simple landing page and I`m so excited! Thank you for interesting and understandable material. The lessons are short but very repleted, and working on challenges helps to immediately consolidate the material. I really like everything, you can safely study coding at your own pace, but at the same time get a lot of benefits. I can't wait to start my next course!

I've learned so much and I enjoyed every lesson. This second step was a tougher challenge, but thank to Matt I've started to walk with my own feet in the word of coding.
I am very happy finally I finish my basic class! The original plan was spending a lot of time each day, at the end it turns out to be quite handful and interesting. For the final homework, I even spend extra time to learn advanced stuff. This becomes more like a hobby instead of a homework. The tools that SHECODES provided are very useful and JUST RIGHT TO USE THEM! Cannot wait for the next adventures ahead!
I loved learning how to code in HTML, Java and CSS through this workshop: it helped me a lot, because I couldn't make it alone. I recommend this course, with the advice to study and practice, with a lot of good effort: it will be a wonderful learning-trip with Matt as your teacher: I adore his method!

Signing up for this class has been one of the best things I have ever done. The class was so smooth and very enjoyable to learn, Matt made every class very simple breaking down every word in every class step-by-step. Learning was really fun and engaging. I didn't expect to have this much fun with coding. I started out the basic course just to check out and found myself diving into the plus. It was very satisfying seeing my project come to life. Matt explains this stuff very simply and it's fun and inspiring.
I just finished the basic workshop and it was a great experience. I really liked how the workshop guided me through all the steps, it was really helpful for someone who never approached this world before. I was very happy to gain these new skills and I am looking forward to learn more in the next workshops!

It has been so much fun to learn the basics of coding. Learning HTML and CSS is almost like playing. Javascript was a little bit trickier but once you get the hang of it, it is so fun to create functions and variables to allow users to interact with the page. I definitely can't wait to learn more!
A flexible course which was found to be a perfect level of challenging and achievable.
Never knew that I would be able to build a weather app by myself from scratch to a fully functional weather forecast. These 8 weeks lessons are not easy to be honest, especially week 8: lessons 5 and 6 have a lot of new and complex information. It was overwhelming but after watching the videos again and again with lots of practice, I MADE IT!
I've always been curious about web coding, but some time ago I gave up because I got stuck. Joining SheCodes gave me the support I needed at the right pace. Now that I completed the first course I feel confident, empowered. I can't wait to learn more about coding! Happy coding everyone!
These 3 weeks were a great introduction into the world of front-end development. All explanations and videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges at the end of each module were the cherry on top. I had a really great time, and I can't wait to start the more advanced workshops.

I already had a bit of previous knowledge of HTML which I think helped to make the process smoother, but this course definitely built a solid foundation for learning web coding and it made me excited to learn more in the future!

It was a great experience. The workshop schedule is very flexible but I found that once you start coding it's almost addictive and you can't stop until you've done all your challenges :). It was great to have this introduction to coding and realise that it can be understandable, accessible and quite fun!
I would highly recommend this course for beginners. It combines everything you need to know to start coding as well as tips on how to configure your editor. Also, if I studied coding some years ago, I have learnt so much during these past 3 weeks. I really love the fact that for every lesson there is a challenge so we can practice what we just learned.
This was great! π A well-paced, user-friendly workshop. Matt is a great instructor, everything is explained in simple terms, and he literary guides you to understanding concepts. great coding experience
I approached SheCodes immediately after graduating in Data Science. In my studies, I have known other programming languages ββbut I didn't know anything about web programming and I was curious to know if I might like it. I could have bought books or searched for free material on the internet, but I preferred to take a course that was simple but consistent. And I can confirm that it is a course suitable for anyone! Matt explains in a simple way and the learning is very gradual. I recommend it to anyone who wants to approach these topics, even if just out of curiosity. I had forgotten how much fun coding was .. π

These three weeks have flown by, but I canβt wait to learn more. The explanations are always clear and precise, and having a community where we can share our doubts is a great help. I had fun and discovered a new and interesting world
The explanations are very clear (but it's not enriching like attending a live workshop). Customer support is slow at answering emails when you're not a potential client (they're very fast at that) but had already bought the products months before. I also didn't feel like leaving a public review with my name and face on it just to access SheCodes Plus after completing SheCodes Basic, but apparently if I don't complete this review the site will keep asking me for money when I try to enroll to SheCodes Plus (?) even though I have already paid the SheCodes Pro package. I asked customer service if I could skip this passage. No answer.

I never worked on html or javascript before, but I really think that everyone should know the basics. I mean, everything runs on websites, you should know at least what they're made of!
Good course to learn the basics of coding. Would recommend to everyone to understand the structure of a webpage.

I decided to start SheCodes basics because I'm interested in changing my field of employment and wanted to branch out into something that seems to have a lot of job opportunities. I was very nervous and skeptical at first as I had very little background or understanding of programming, or computing in general. My fears were put to rest almost immediately, the workshops were easy to follow, learning in little stages so you don't feel overwhelmed or have an information overload. Matt also doesn't use a lot of jargon which I particularly appreciated. I definitely will be continuing with SheCodes Plus or Pro very soon.
I'd highly recommend this workshop for anyone that is interested to learn about coding, is very easy to understand and allows you to learn at your own pace.
