Good basics and very easy to understand. Got stuck a few times but the group solved the problem in no time. Would definitely recommend if your knowledge about coding is zero. It makes you want the lessons for the week to never get to an end.
An effective and funny class. The workload is well balanced and the program is well structured. Also, through Slack chats you can access to all the necessary support. I have to admit that I will miss this workshop.

I loved SheCodes! I had a previous basic experience with HTML, but I've never done anything with JavaScript before and nonetheless I found the course very clear and easy to follow. I also really liked that Matt was explaining enough to let me learn new stuff and complete the assignments, but still giving inputs about other options and possibilities that triggered my curiosity and made me explore and try on my own. I loved everything about this course, it was a big challenge for me but I can say I'm very proud of myself and I can't wait to start the React challenge!
This course was very very basic. Anyways if you are not constant having deadlines helps a lot to keep up.
It's a great way to learn advanced front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, as well as JavaScript techniques using live API's too. While building real applications I've also learned to use Git and GitHub to manage my code and streamline the development workflow.
In three weeks I learned so much! Matt is a very good teacher, I found the perfect course for me, which pushes me to always keep going!βΊοΈ
It's a good course for take the bases for who's, as me, is at this first step in coding. I'll reccomend certainly to my friend interested in coding!
I'm surprised I found the 3 weeks course interesting. It was nice to see that one could actually learn some basic coding without the "you're back in school" feeling. I also appreciate the short lessons and straight to the point examples. I'd recommend it for anyone wondering, if by some miracle, they might be able to understand coding π.
This workshop was not easy, I have to admit, but it feels so satisfying and empowering to be able to create your own weather app from scratch, especially if you have no background in coding. Everyone has been so helpful when I needed assistance and it's so nice to know that there is always someone than can help if you are stuck! I totally recommend SheCodes workshops.
Well suited for beginners! The topics cover a lot of basic knowledges of web development. However, I would expect more examples like different types of website structures, etc. Overall, great job to all SheCodes team!

I was skeptical at first just because I have tried, many times, to learn something about coding but it seemed nobody could teach me in a simple, fast, clear way. I am SOOO happy I chose SheCodes, I feel so good about It, I couldn't believe I was learning so easily a subject I always found impossibile.
This workshop was very useful and interesting. It is a fast way to learn and all the lessons are explained in a very clear way. The workshop also allows to do some practice and to get in touch with people from other countries that are attending the same Course.
These three weeks of workshop were very inspiring! I like very much coding, trying and trying until I can get a good result! It was very useful to use Slack to talk to colleagues and get help, even from Jao who is always very attentive and kind. Lessons with Matt are clear and fun :) Can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes course is really well-structured and has a very pragmatic approach. In few weeks you get the basis of HTML, CSS and Java and can start building your webpage with professional tools. The videos are short and simple, and straight after each video you have a challenge or an issue to solve and at the end of it you can learn and play with a project you build from scratch. For the whole duration of the course you join the community on Slack, where you can get advice from peers or tech experts. The course developed by Matt definitely went beyond by expectations!
SheCodes has been a very educative and epiphanic experience for me, they are very interactive with the students and assist whenever possible individually and on certain platforms. It has piqued my interest a lot in web development and it is something I intend to pursue in the proceeding workshops offered. I would urge on anyone interested in programming to start here as it is worth every cent paid.
My experience was really interesting. I had lots of fun trying to create things from scratch and learned new skills for my personal and working life. I got stuck several times, but was able eventually to pull through; I felt challenged and stimulated throughout the whole journey!
I really liked the structure of the course. It was really clear from the start. The combination of the lessons with the challenges and the homework made it easy for me to understand and to keep up with all the information. It really suprised me how you're able to build up webpages in such a short time. SheCodes made it possible for me to step into the world of tech!

Taking this course was such a spontaneous idea for me (I thank Youtube), but I am SO happy for having taking the course. Coding is, indeed, a very creative and enjoyable process. It has definitely been challenging sometimes, but I love myself a little challenge. Now I have every intention to broaden my knowledge of coding and I'd love to do it with SheCodes. Starting with no coding knowledge at all, this course gave me a structure and guidance to learn a new skill. I always thought that coding was an impossible task for me, I like to test my limits so I've decided to take the three week course. I was very suprise that coding could be so easy and enjoyable!
I really enjoyed the course in SheCodes, in fact I decided to continue with the other two parts. The explanations are clear and full of examples, the homeworks make the learning process easier and the suggested solutions are full of useful advices.
Getting through SheCodes Plus has been a wonderful voyage of discovery. I could have never imagined that I would be able, one day, to build a fully-functioning, interactive weather app from scratch! And in less than 3 months! Simply mind-blowing. Some lessons were harder than others, but overall I have managed to understand a good 80% of the whole course - which is still a total win for me! I am excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes React and see where it takes me.

I've worked in marketing and communications for 6 years and was always intimidated by HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This course was perfect! It starts at the very beginning and each lesson is in "bite-size" pieces with direct, practical applications, making it easy to master new skills. Thanks to SheCodes, I am now confident in being able to personalize and edit websites and even create my own page. A nice way to learn a new language! I really enjoyed learning HTML, JavaScript and CSS with Matt. I loved seeing my project building up step by step to the final website. I will definitely use what I have learnt to make another personal project.
The three-week workshop is a good way to get some orientation in coding, but you only scratch the surface. The videos and explanations are very clear and the challenges helpful to internalise the content.

A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Before attending the course i was a little bit nervous to immerse myself into something that is so different and remote from everything i have ever done previously. But after the first lesson my enthusiasm was grown up to 1000%, and i truly believe it's a merit of Matt who has managed to create a great way of teaching which can work for any beginner who really wants to learn. I am so happy i discovered this course!

I thought coding was difficult and required math skills and a lot of time, both of things I did not have. This course gave me the possibility to understand the coding language and it will help me when talking to programmers and IT staff...plus I had a lot of fun!!

Joining SheCodes was my best decision ever - this workshop has been a truly life-changing experience and I absolutely recommend it. As an Arts & Humanities graduate, I used to think coding was definitely beyond my reach, but I could not have been more wrong!! The SheCodes Plus workshop was amazing, challenging but truly great. After these 8 weeks not only did I learn a lot but now I can navigate the internet and actually understand what other coders are talking about and find my answers alone, which before was impossible. I loved the three weeks workshop! I signed up with a very -basic- concept of html, not really knowing what to expect except from knowing I was looking for not only a personal challenge, but also a way to develop my skillset for the future. It's incredible how three weeks went by so fast! The lessons were all super clear and the challenges hard enough to get you thinking but never to the point of feeling lost. Loved my experience and can't wait to start the next workshop soon!

It was great to learn step by step html, CSS and Javascript. I thought it was very useful to have a lot of practice with exercises, especially when dealing with the challenging parts of coding!
