I've been with other 3 courses before and I didn't understand that much. Matt explains really well and is less technical. And that's so helpful when you're a beginner :]

On this course, I made sure that programming with She Codes is interesting and fun, and most importantly, that all the material studied is the most relevant for creating websites and without unnecessary theory
I decided to learn basic programming to get to know a little bit of what the engineers I hire do. Little did I know this was going to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I enjoyed every minute of it!

When enrolled in this course I did not know anything about coding, not even what software to use or how to open a new file, and it is amazing that after 3 weeks I am able to build a simple webpage. I am currently using this knowleadge to create my own consulting company's webpage.
Thinking about switching professions or only wanting to learn something so complex sounds scary, but Matt and SheCodes do a great job of explaining, providing the tools to learn, and encouraging engagement. Definitely will keep on going. Perhaps one day I'll be THE developer.

Straight to the point, clear explanations and examples that are easy to understand. The best part is you can always repeat a video, or ask for help on slack. Which makes the whole process way better.

I really enjoyed sharing something I love (my town, Mitla!) in my final project. I'm surprised I could make something so polished after three weeks! Well, it's self-paced so more like two weeks for me.
I found SheCodes easy to to follow and learn. Matt breaks down each lesson to be able to understand and also to upgrade the knowledge by doing some self research. I am happy to say I am up for the next challenge and to improve with SheCodesPlus!

This workshop was easy to follow and very useful! As a UX Designer, I now feel I have a better understanding of what developers do once I hand off my designs.

It's a really great course. The explanations are very clear and the videos help a lot to see how everything works. Even though it's challenging, I find the practical side of the course a great addition. If you don't practice and see for yourself how everything works, you don't learn enough.

I'm so happy for starting my journey in coding, an interest I discovered in the last 5 years. So far so good! This has been a challenge, in a good way. I am happy to have step out of my comfort zone and I am excited for what is to come in the next levels. Matt's devotion and just overall kindness is contagious and even though my interaction in Slack was minimal, it was very nice to know that I had support if needed and that I am surrounded by a bunch of clever women.
Really nice workshop, I recommend it if you are new at programming. During the course I completed several challenges that made me learn new things about HTML, CSS and JS. I started from zero programming knowledge and now I am able to create my own simple website!

I enjoyed the Responsive Workshop because for me it is more about design and a little of UX and UI, I tought it would be easier since we don't apply JS, despite that I struggled a bit because it is another world, at the end I loved it and I think it's all about practice. I want to begin the next React workshop as soon as possible so I didn't forget the previous ones :D
SheCodes helped get through the "theory stage" and actually getting to CODE. I had been reading about CSS and HTML, but never imagined that I already would be coding in Javascript in such a short amount of time.
I would highly recommend this program! It is a great level for anyone who wants an introduction to coding in an approachable and fun way!

The course was very hands on and clear from beginning to end. It's a lot of fun to follow along in VS code with Matt while watching the video and going back to analyze the code after watching the video as well as customizing it.
Joining SheCodes workshops has improved my coding skills and my problem solving techniques. The projects were ambitious but not imposible to achive, in addition, having a super supportive team backing up whenever facing dificulties or doubts was key fact to completing the projects.
I had so much fun while learning how to code. I felt like I was playing and while the weeks were passing it was like getting to a new level of the game.
I have always wanted to learn how to make websites responsive, so this journey has been great and I'm proud of myself that I am making this happen. The best teachers are the ones who can simplify the most difficult things so everyone can understand and give you freedom to fail, SheCodes has been that for me.
Great first step into coding. Covers the very basic notions of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I liked Matt's explanations a lot. It's nice to have deadlines and small tasks along the way to practice. Since it's cheap, basic, flexible and well explained, I definitely recommend to enrol without thinking twice about it for those who don't know how to begin their coding journey. I had done several free 1h online coding classes before, including SheCode's, so the whole workshop seemed pretty intuitive. I got all 3 weeks done in 4 days and then took more time to submit the final project.

I liked this workshop because it was very practical. I have worked with HTML for years, but everything I learned was through practice, not theory. However, this workshop helped me to understand better HTML and reinforce what I already knew.

Great workshop! Working alongside Matt is super helpful and gives a lot of clarity. The material is very clear, I highly recommend taking notes to explain everything thoroughly to yourself in your own words. You'll surely come back to them in your projects!

I have reinforced many subjects here. I like that they teach you the basics and from there you can continue investigating, but they definitely give you a starting point and many tips.

SheCodes is great, the weekly learning goals and daily challenges keep you up to pace with the learnings. After the Basics workshop I still find it challenging but coding became a lot more accessible to me.
I'm really happy with the results of the workshop, I learned a lot and Matt is really good with the explanations and the examples. SheCodes made coding a really fun and nice experience.
