Iยดve never been a tech savy person, but have always wanted to understand how the programing world works, this course definetely opened my eyes into a new career possibility in an ever changing world. Strongly thinking about continuing with the new SheCodes Pro.
When I was in high school, I wanted to develop websites, but didn't want to study any kind of engineering (I hate maths) and went for my other passion: English literature. But the desire to develop websites remained on my mind and SheCodes has been a wonderful experience. It's a lot of information, but it's worthy and Matt makes it fun!
I never thought it would be so easy!๐ฎ You need to dedicate some time to it, of course, but its only one hour tops per day during these weeks. If you'll like to learn a little bit more about programming, this is an AMAZING way to start. I still have a long way to go, but I feel more confident and most importantly I removed the idea from my head that this is too complicated and that you have to study for years and years (what's true is that you need to practice, practice and practice ๐ ) Thank you Matt for creating this program. I was always "afraid" of coding, but with SheCodes Workshop, I saw how easy it was and made me feel empowered and ready to learn more! Matt explains everything with such patience, and I was greatful I could do it at my own pace. I loved this experience! Video tutorials are clear, concise, and very easy to understand. A very nice community is formed in the slack group, there is always someone attentive to help you and answer your questions.

The videos are short and clear, well explain by Matt. The challenges were very exciting to finish and the final project was really fun to do! I would totally recomend the 3 week workshop if you only are curious about coding since is only the basics. Can't wait to start the Plus workshop!

I'm just a second semester student in business and digital marketing at ITESO, a college from Mexico, meaning I'm clueless about programming and coding stuff, or at least I was. This workshop has thought me the basics, but in a fun and easy way and I even want to learn more about web sites so one day it become my profession. :))) It was just amaizing.
I learned so much during these 3 weeks! This is straight-up the best way to start coding. As a thirteen-year-old, I think Matt's classes are easy to follow, and with its 100% online curriculum, you have the flexibility to build your schedule. I actually never thought I would do this, never in my mind did it cross the idea that I would learn to code. I always thought it was "rocket science" hahaha I now want to keep learning and improve so I can make family business grow without having to depend on somebody else to run it for us.

It was very fun to learn to code. The courses are very easy to understand and I could watch the videos and do the challenges whenever I had some free time from work.
SheCodes helped me introduce myself into the programming world and showed me I shouldn't be afraid of coding. I learned that something that started as a hobby during my boredom in covid times could be fun and straightforward. I appreciated how smooth and understandable starting to learn to code can be. I still have a long road to go, but SheCodes sure motivated me to keep going through this road!

Since I started working as an IT Recruiter and found out about all the IT world I've always wanted to be part of it, not only by understanding the technologies, terms, and theoretical knowledge but to actually being able to code. SheCodes gave me the amazing opportunity of proving myself I can do anything I put my mind to. The greatest part is that you don't even have to have a B.S. as a software engineer to actually learn to code!

Over a year ago I took basic HTML classes at school and I realized coding is something I really enjoy, but I never had the time to properly learn. I have tried to learn programming for a long time, I just didn't know how or where to start. I tried various free courses but I never finished them because I didn't actually feel like I was learning. When I just started university, I decided to study engineering (in business, but still engineering) ... we had to learn to program and I recollect that it was frustrating for me because nothing came out and I did not understand the logic of programming. In the end, I changed careers, but I always had the idea of one day really learning how to use my computer beyond social media and Excel. The SheCodes course proved to me that programming can be easy if they explain it to you well. I would recommend this course to any woman who wants to improve herself, get out of her comfort zone and, above all, who believes that programming is difficult.

The course offers basic knowledge about coding, I was afraid of coding language but I had a pleasant experience.
At first, I was quite worried if Iยดd be able to go into such a big challenge, especially since I had no previous knowledge of coding, but I can say Iยดve not only learned a new skill, but I feel even more prepared to go into the next challenge called React โค๐ during these hard times I fully believe I could change career paths and feel confident enough.
I knew nothing about coding before this course. In only 3 weeks I learnt basic skills and built my own page from scratch. There is still a lot to learn, but now I know what the coding world is about. Now I know for sure that I definitely want a job tech related.

Little did I know about the wonderful journey I was getting started with and how mistaken I was about coding! The satisfaction that comes from completing every challenge and making your project is indescribable. With the help of Matt and his team, I learned that I wonยดt feel lost along the way if I just ask for some help and persevere until I find a possible solution because there is always one. It was so fun to learn the basics of coding! The explanations were on point, just the right information you need to fully understand what you are doing and the expectations from the challenges.
Well, I saw the advertising on YouTube, and unlike other ads, this one just catch my attention. Before I realize I was already inscribing myself to the course. Due to the university admission exams I was studying and couldn't properly take the course as I wanted to. But I must say it was really enjoyable!

This introductory workshop is well structured and organized. You will learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and learn how to use VS Code slightly. The exciting and motivating part for me is that every lesson comes with a little homework. There is a deadline for a more significant assignment at the end of every week. Unfortunately, I work better with deadlines, so this has been motivating for me. Another excellent and positive feature is the Slack Channel. You can get to know other budding coders, ask questions, and get help on any coding problems. I am interested to see what the next workshop will teach me on coding. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to get a feeling of what you can do with coding.
