I had an incredible journey in front-end development and responsive design. Having completed the SheCodes Basics program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum as it involved a new programming language (Javascript). However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive, the community was supportive. As I said in the previous testimonial I gave on completing the Basics, what I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. The SheCodes Program is a very educative one. i have always wanted to learn how to code so when my dad brought my attention to it i was very excited to start. it was challenging on some days as i had to manage school work with the workshop but the SheCodes team was always there to help and would even extend my due date when needed.

I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took.
