The SheCodes basic workshop journey has been an interesting and creative one for me. Learning and practicing at a the same thing has never been made this easy. Thanks to SheCodes for this opportunity, I have been able to practice the basic programming languages and have been putting them to good use.

I don't know what to say than SheCodes makes my dream come through on my way to becoming stack engineer 💃💃💃. I have been wanting to learn coding, I searched Youtube for lessons but it looks too difficult and abstract. Not until I stumbled upon a post by Deborah for SheCodes Nigeria, I wasted no time to register and also recommend other ladies to apply. I feel highly elated to have been a part of this program. it is a ripple effect initiative. I feel very confident that my launch into tech is just about to get very rewarding through the help of SheCodes.

This class has been an eye opener for me. My skill is now better than before and it's been fun. I am happy.

My goal for months has been to venture into and grow a career in coding which I was struggling with due to financial constraints. SheCodes came along at just the right time! Starting the program, I have been able to learn and develop myself and I am hopeful the sky is my stepping stone I highly recommend SheCodes to every female who wants to learn coding because I learned a lot!

Matt has a unique way of teaching these languages that make them seem less daunting.. the steps, the examples.. everything is just challenging enough, yet pretty easy to grasp....

Very fun and interactive classes. I was excited and motivated to keep on trying and to keep on working the entire time. Finished in 4 days (spread out in 2 weeks). Can't wait to keep learning!

The teaching technique is well-detailed, simplified in the best possible way, and it has been an interesting journey so far. It is the first time I have taken a full online lesson, and I am thrilled by this experience. At first, I thought I wouldn't be able to cope due to time constraints and work, but surprisingly, as we got deeper, it somehow got easier for me. Highly recommend.

My experience through this program is nothing but amazing, I had a wonderful time learning the art of coding and the instructor was explicit in his teachings. I honestly look forward to progressing on this journey and completing the entire course. By then, I am sure to be an expert developer.

I have been self-employed for some time now, but would like to switch into Tech, I have been looking forward to it and I can testify (just finishing SheCodes Basic) that it is interesting.

Quite Challenging but Matt made learning easy.

This course was a great introduction to coding, specifically Front-end Development. I am so excited to be on this journey, to gain more skills and create better websites!

The teaching and excercise are well planned, to make learning effective.

Amazing class. I always though coming from a non-tech background, learning to code will be extremely difficult but going through the basic class at SheCodes helped me to learn easily and also practice with some degree of confidence. Matt Delac is a patient instructor also. He explains in such a way that it is difficult for you NOT to get it. I love coding. I love SheCodes 🤗

I can first hand 100% recommend Shecodes to anyone looking forward to be a great developer but has no prior knowledge. I have been to several online coding programs but have not succeeded in completing any and this is because they’re not beginners’ friendly like most of them usually claim. I cannot stress enough how helpful Shecodes has helped me to explore something that I always thought I wasn’t smart enough to do. Thanks to our instructor, Matt Delac, for being so passionate about what he’s doing and being so willing to share his knowledge, in a way that is really fun to learn and very accessible. The Delac Foundation Scholarship is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to get started in tech particularly frontend web development. I have personally found that most of the seemingly hard topics have been simplified to a large extent by our amazing tutor, Matt Delac.

I have always thought coding was hard to understand, but learning with SheCodes helped simplify everything from HTML to CSS and JavaScript. Now, I feel more confident to explore the field of software development after working on projects on the SheCodes platform. SheCodes is a great platform for anyone who would love to learn how to code. They use the simplest terms and the lessons are in sizeable bits for ease. I really enjoyed this workshop! Matt's videos are thorough but easy to follow. I like that students are assessed after each class so that they can practice what they’ve learnt. If you aren't sure whether coding is for you, I highly recommend that you give it a try!

Matt Delac is the best, i can say have had issues writing javascript for a longtime even with youtube videos. But no one has been able to do justice to it like matt did. Am super excited i now understand the basics of javascript. Looking forward to learning more in the Shecodes plus

I've always wanted to learn how to code but i haven't had the time and opportunity, a friend introduced me to SheCodes and i was so delighted, it came at the right time, though i have a busy schedule i was able to squeeze this in. SheCode has been an empowering experience. I've transformed from someone who pretends to know how to code, to a strong confident developer. i had a lot of fun learning and completing my projects.

I fell in love with coding when I participated in a one-month training on digital skill acquisition organized by young catholic professionals. Even though I was an art student way back in school, the program was impactful, and I made up my mind I would pursue a career in coding, unfortunately, I didn't have the needed funds to do so, but thanks to God, I came across Delac Foundation and applied fortunately for me, I was admitted to study Coding free of charge, its one of the best thing that happened to me and ever since then my life has changed for the better, and I want to say thank you SheCodes.

Before joining SheCodes i was a little scared of Javascript as i have heard people say it was very tough. My instructor Matt turned that fear into confidence as he taught it in a way that it was very easy for me to understand. I had an amazing time during this SheCodes Basics and i can already code with confidence. I can't wait to see what the other packages have in store for me!

I once used to see coding as something I could never venture into because it always looked so complex to understand, but learning with SheCodes has been amazing.
