I started my journey with coding in primary school, it was fascinating but I dropped it after a while and. Now, after many years I have chance to continue this adventure thanks to Matt and his wonderful team. It's clear, it's fun and it's stimulating my brain. I want to work with coding and continue my career as a tattoo artist on the side. I was looking for a long time for something which will give mi that spark and stimulate my brain and here I am :)

I really liked the workshops and I find them very useful for beginners! I had a possibility to understand how the things work on the website and how they correlate with each other.

All my life I was engaged in photography and design everything that was possibleπ, but also I dreamed of developing websites and creating them. I got this opportunity on the SheCodes course, for which I am immensely grateful and infinitely happy.
Shecodes Basics is a good start for the beginning. Courses are detailed, and having challenges after each video is making easy to keep up.
This workshop was great for gaining some extra useful knowledge, I learned how to make responsive websites with multiple pages (which seems important nowadays as most people use smaller-screen devices) and how to make the pages SEO-friendly

SheCodes Responsive was a very satisfying course! I developed my knowledge and build a fully responsive website from scratch with many functionalities. All lessons were clear and easy to understand. Step by step, I learned new specific ways of coding to get the intended results.

I really enjoy learning code under Matt's guidance. Everything is in order, from simple to more complex. Explanations are clear. Matt always sets up that the students will succeed. The design of the course is very beautiful and convenient. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. And... the teacher has a very pleasant voice!π
A great opportunity to try yourself as a developer. There was NOT enough information and explanation about java screept , functions and arguments. Beautiful tasks, convenient presentation of information. There was not enough script in English, it is not always convenient to use subtitles from Google

I really liked the form of the course, handing in homework is really engaging and does not allow me to stop learning for a long time. Everything easily explained. It encouraged me to continue learning Java Script and this is the direction I will follow.
Really fun workshop, I liked doing a dictionary project. This one really helps you to understand even more React. After doing react workshop, add-on was perfect to practice your skills. It's not that scary anymore!
I was so sure that this course is going to be great that I was preparing to go along with the cost and start studying. And then Matt let me know that I qualify for financial aid and the Delac Foundation helped me be a part of this wonderful begginer course! After three weeks I feel like I've definetely got a good a grasp on many of the elements of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I am very satisfied with how the course has been going. I am excited for the next ones, and can't wait to be a part of the Tech Community in the future!

I have been working on the project about different types of intelligence, the topic I have been interested in recently. Currently I am working in the language school which is concentrated on the different types of intelligence, that is why this topic is extremely relevant for me. During my project I had also a possibility to find out more about this topic. It was the pure pleasure for me to completing this challenge, though I had some doubts about my skills and creative part of myself. It even discouraged me a little, nevertheless I have finished it and I am proud of myself. I was listening to the SheCodes Radio and it helped me a lot during my coding, music really changes everything! I specifically liked working with the colors, gradients. It was fun! I will be working hard to become better in coding :) Overall, I would highly recommend this project to anyone. It was a thought-provoking and enlightening experience that challenged my assumptions and opened my mind to new possibilities. :)
Matt does a great job guiding you through applying the many building blocks you've learned. Awesome to see how far you can go in just a couple of weeks!
Not gonna lie.. this one was hard. But of course it was worth it! It's really challenging and it is easy to give up but feels great if you keep pushing. Matt is really good with keeping you motivated and I think this workshop has so much value for future developers!

This course is a good way to understand if you are interested in programming in general. Due to the fact that during the course they give the most basic information, but capture all the main topics and give a lot of opportunity to practice, you can concentrate on your feelings and understand what you like best in the process
