What a journey! I started my path at She Codes right after my first child was born because I wanted to change my career. In the meantime, an irresistible job opportunity came up, and I ended up putting She Codes on hold. Now, after having my second child, I finished the Plus! Iβm still going to do the Responsive and React courses, but Iβm very happy and proud of my coding journey.
I can't believe how much I've learned in such a short time! The course is very well organised and really complex concepts are simplified and made accessible so you (rarely) feel overwhelmed. Couldn't recommend She Codes more.
I took a bit longer to complete the SheCodes Basics Add-on because I moved to a new city and have a two-year-old daughter and a demanding job. However, I finally finished and couldnβt be happier! I'm excited to continue my learning journey. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Juggling between being a final year PhD student in life sciences and learning how to code from zero, without feeling burnt out, has proven to be harder than I originally expected. I have always felt like one of my biggest handicaps was related to IT skills. In the current job market, I quickly realized this was something I had to work on and couldn't be happier that I chose to take this path with She Codes. I can learn at my own pace while still having the sense of belonging to a community. I still have a long way to go but it's important to celebrate little vitories. Can't wait to keep going!
It was really good to uncover the potential of coding with a real life project. I hope to keep learning and to keep improving in the next workshops!
SheCodes Plus is certainly more challenging than SheCodes Basic. This project helped me learn a lot of new technologies, taught me how to work with an API and how to use GitHub and host a website. I canβt wait to keep learning with SheCodes π

I've got lost for many personal and pedagogical reasons in this project. Some passages are still foggy because of the very fast and unclear explanations. But I got there finally.
The SheCodes Plus course was a game-changer for me. The instructor made complex concepts understandable, and building the search engine from scratch was incredibly rewarding. The support from both the team and fellow learners created a collaborative learning environment that I highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their coding skills.
Definitely a more challenging, but again a very well structured course. A great introduction to more advanced JS techniques and the world of APIs. Enjoyed the whole journey, which had a rewarding end with the final project. The slack channel was a great help in finding answers when questions arose during the course.

React was definitely the most challenging workshop, but nevertheless a super fun one to learn and I can't wait to continue my coding path, thanks to SheCodes.

Coding is totally new to me. I dedicated all my life to health and science. I've always liked programming/tech, but I've never studied it, so I'm in a completely new area. SheCodes has everything ready and prepared for you to start your new coding aventure! Every point is well explained with examples to make it easier to understand. I would recommend it to any woman who is at least a little bit curious about the coding topic. The Basic program is enought to understand if you like this area and if you want to move on to a deeper program.
I keep coming back to SheCodes because I really like the way the courses are structured and how Matt teaches :) It has been quite a journey since almost two years back, from only knowing the basics of code to creating by myself.

Another great workshop, more focused on HTML, CSS and pages/apps responsiveness. In this workshop I've learnt how to make my pages responsive. Which means that th pages/apps look good on every screen (from smaller to bigger screens and vice-versa). Loved taking the time to make my on Portfolio with all my previous projects. This final project really pushed me to be more creative and code on my own.

Great way to start in Code
This has been a great workshop! Everything is really clear and engaging, I definitely feel like I've learned a lot.
Starting the SheCodes Plus workshop was difficult at first, but in the end it was worthwhile. Unlike previous workshops, learning JavaScript was not for the faint of heart. After a few classes, the language, which had once seemed intimidating, began to make sense. The challenge revealed how important it was to stay resilient, and success hinged on persistently engaging with the material. SheCodes Plus may be tougher, particularly for people who are not comfortable with JavaScript, but the journey is marked by moments of clarity and accomplishment, turning it into a rewarding experience.
The content is easy to understand , and Matt explains it very well! I think the workshop is well structured and that prepares us to be harder as the lessons go by.
I really enjoyed doing this workshop! It took me a while to convince myself that being from the humanities didn't mean I couldn't do and enjoy coding. The digital humanities are here! All it took was a small task of adding city codes to a database to light up the spark. Finding SheCodes was the best way to start understanding a bit more of what coding is, and with the small videos and challenges it made it really fun!
I feel this workshop really brought my skills up to the next level! I feel confident in designing and building a responsive website. It has been really exciting, and Matt's teaching has been clear and effective as usual. Strongly recommended!

The SheCodes workshops have been great! Creating a small website sounded like a daunting task at first, but with all the video classes and resources available it ended up going pretty swiftly and I am super happy with how my portfolio turned out. Definitely recommend!

It was incredible how I was able to do this weather app! The course comprehended a lot of new information that is quite advanced, which made kind of hard to understand the matter sometimes. However, I acquired more Front-End content which corresponded to what I expected. But if you want to become a developer this course is not enough. I'm excited to see the next step π

In this AI Add-On I learned how to build an AI generator with an API, besides leaning how to manipulate with JS. It was great.

With this Plus Add-on, in the first part of the workshop, I was able to learn more about HTML inputs, labels and select. The second part was more focused in Javascript and how to build a world clock using moment.js as a final project. Personally, I found this super intuitive and really fun to create.
This was fun, sometimes it was hard, but I made. I'm so proud of me, I made my own portfolio from scratch π
