I think the level of this course is great for someone who is just starting to venture into the world of web programming. It's substantial enough to give you an idea of what it's like, but easy enough so it doesn't deter you. I'm very keen on moving on to the next course.

A week ago, I knew nothing about coding. Today I completed my first project and I couldn't be more proud of myself as a student and Matt as a teacher. He is passionate about what he does, and he shares this spark with others. I never tried coding, because I was told programming is for those who are good at math, which I am absolutely not. But war in my country taught me not to leave plans and wishes for tomorrow. And here I am, learning and enjoying every moment of it. This is a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I especially liked how well the course was structured, with the lessons gradually going from easy to hard. And I had a lot of fun creating the final project.

I wanted to know if I like programming. I always thought it was super difficult. But it turns out everyone can do it! Videos and classes do not take up most of your time, but give you a maximum of basic knowledge. And the mentor is cute :)

This was a great workshop! I have learnt a lot in just 3 weeks, from knowing almost nothing to being able to create my own landing page. I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, and it made me feel like coding can be fun!

Hi! This workshop is very simple to understand for everybody. So, I recommend that to all that want to learn something new and maybe change their path in life.
I've had so much fun during this course. It was certainly tricky to create the right codes sometimes, but if it wouldn't be a bit challenging I wouldn't learn and become a better developer. Matt is very pedagogical and explains everything very well, which makes it easy to understand. I totally recommend this course to everyone who is interested in learning how to code!
This program was so fun! I had no clue about coding and especially not if it was something one could enjoy, however, after this course I love it! It was so easy to learn with the step-by-step videos, and when there was something I didn't understand, I got on Slack and got help almost immediately. Can't wait to start the next course!

When I joined this course I barely had any knowledge of coding but now I can confidently say that I know at least the basic elements of HTML, Javascript, and CSS. My SheCodes journey has been super fun and rewarding and has motivated me to actively pursue a career in tech.
I had a blast. The lessons were short and to the point, the homework assigned was just the right amount of tricky, they gave us all we needed while at the same time urging us to find out answers for ourselves and gave us the tools to do so. Cannot recommend enough.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to any girl who is not necessarily that interested in coding but feels the need to challenge herself, step outside of ther comfort zone and explore a completely new way of thinking - thinking like a machine in a way! Keep your head up when it gets difficult because the reward when you figure the problems out is an amazing feeling!
The workshop has an appealing structure. I work full time and thanks to the flexible schedule, I managed to meet the deadline. It was fun and challenging to work on the Final Project and now I look forward to the next workshops: SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React!
It's been an absolute blast to take this course. Matt makes it so easy and he explains everything in a very pedagogical way. Fun fact: as an engineer I had a very short introduction to Python a few years ago, and I thought it was incredibly boring. Never ever had I thought that I (willingly) would take a coding course in the future. But here I am, and this course have been nothing like my previous experience. All of a sudden coding is extremely fun and I just want to learn more and more. I guess that's the difference between a really good teacher and a not so good one. Now I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Pro that I will start with on Monday!
This workshop is such an amazing knowledge bank for any one passionate about coding. I am a kind of beginner for the CSS, HTML and JS and what makes the workshop more appealing is the fact that Matt presents the workshop in such an understandable, structured and fun way. I recently started a new job in tech-sales. My position made me gain a lot of theoretical knowledge about IT, and I wished to put this knowledge into practice. I always had a keen interest in tech but never started practising. Personally, I find it challenging to start with something completely new when having zero foundations: where and how best to start? I am so glad I signed up at SheCodes: it truly is for absolute beginners yet coincidentally the learning curve is steep! It helps you gain professional coding habits and trains on best practices. After one week of HTML/CSS basics and one week of Javascript basics, Matt and the team at Shecodes unfolded the magic of mark-up languages, enabling me to build my very first own landing page. At my own pace. Which makes it even more awesome β€οΈ The lessons are short and concise, well structured, and easy to digest with the follow-up mini-tasks that make you learn as you go. Really gives you a kick start to frontend knowledge and opens the door to learn even more from there.
