As my 4th workshop with SheCodes, I really enjoyed learning new techniques to improve my coding skills. Creating and coding on my own showed me that coding can be so much fun! I would recommend everyone to experience this!

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and the videos were clear and easy to follow - as promised, it is definitely beginner-friendly! The challenges after each lesson provided good opportunities to cement my learning and their incremental difficulty through the lessons helped smoothen the learning curve. I appreciated how there was always help available to troubleshoot my work through the Slack Channel as it can be difficult to spot your own mistakes especially after staring at the code for really long!
Yay, third workshop. There might be some hiccups, but definitely worth the while. The whole journey was fun and challenging. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed, but JoΓ£o was there to help. And the feeling of hitting the submit button gives me the sense of accomplishment. Am excited for the next workshop.

Finally! I completed it in 8 weeks! Due to moving house+workloads+sick, I was "dragging" the lesson/homework around 2weeks. Luckily Matt's lessons are detailed and easy to follow up, and also thanks to JoΓ£o for helping me point out the error that I have made. (basic structure but you know sometimes you will miss it). Now I super excited to move to the next level React!

Hello everyone! My name is Jananisri, from Singapore. I am 17 years of age. I chose to learn at SheCodes during my break and I had a great time learning to code, both effectively and while having lots of fun. Coding is an essential skill nowadays and I am elated to have had an opportunity to learn a small part of it. I would say that this course is definitely worth the cost and would love to enrol in other SheCodes workshops.
I truly appreciate the way Matt teaches coding. Being a complete beginner, the step-by-step approach really facilitated my understanding and the many challenges certainly helped to reinforce my learning!

I came across SheCodes through a youtube advertisement. I went for the free workshop and really wanted to try the workshops. Since I am currently a college student i was reluctant after seeing the cost of the workshop. But it was one of the best investments i ever made! Even before finishing the course, I got selected to be interviewed for an internship at SEAGATE! I had C/C++ and python programming already in my cv after i started this workshops i added Java, HTML and CSS which was in the job description too. I'm so glad that i made this decision to join SheCodes!

I also appreciate the fact that support is rendered to us by Slack as I found it useful to not only get help from the SheCodes Team when I'm stuck, but also learn from my other fellow SheCodes students. It can be frustrating at times but overall, it was a great experience. I'm glad that I make the right decision by enrolling in Shecodes Plus. Definitely moving on to the next project.
I enjoyed the workshops by SheCodes. The lessons were straightforward and easy to understand. It was a great way to gain a basic understanding of coding!
Matt's instruction is easy to understand and follow, I was intrigued by this on the free workshop and registered on the same day. However, without the support from the technical consultant, his name is Jaoz, in SlackChat, my motivation bubble would have deflated tremendously. Nothing is more depressed than when you wanted to venture out to things that is not introduced yet and got stuck there in your own mess and no one but you shed any lights onto how to untangle it.
I enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop very much. The workshop pace is just right, and you can watch and rewatch the videos at your own time. Matt's videos and materials are very clear and I am able to follow and learn the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. These topics were initially rather daunting, but this workshop exceeded my expectations. The Challenges at the end of each lesson help reinforce the teachings and allow us to practise. The website and videos are nicely done, and the SheCodes Radio helped me focus during my Challenges and project. It was a lot of fun doing the course and the project. I would like to thank Matt and team, and the team on Slack who answers our questions so promptly and readily! Thank you!
I stumbled across SheCodes when I scrolled through Instagram - it straight away captured my attention and suddenly I was on Matt's intro class, registering for the real workshop and starting to code for the first time in my life. I have to say Matt's way of busting the myth of "nerdy, impossible-to-learn-at-this-age" coding is super effective. I am still a galaxy away from a professional programmer but learning how to code (and read them) made me understand workflows, app design / implementation process, its behaviour, and digital space in general. This helps me a lot in my career where I build use cases for people and their business when they evaluate a CRM (I work at Salesforce), as well as for my personal learning. Keep up the good work Matt, Daniela, and team! π―

When I first heard about coding, I really interested to learn about it but I am not sure where to learn or where to start if I wanted to learn my own. When I found out about SheCodes, I apply and learn about coding from scratch and it is worth it as the workshop teaches me step by step so that I can understand better. Overall it is a good experience learning coding here.
The lesson videos were clear and concise. Teaching was very structured, allowing me to practise what I learn through the small challenges and homework so it didn't feel too difficult and gave me confidence one step at a time to progress until the project at the end of the course.

I'd recommend 'SheCodes' to individuals who are busy with a day job yet are still keen to pick up coding skills to stay relevant in this increasingly digital-focused world. Each module in this course comes in bite-sized videos and challenges, allowing beginners to cope with the learning process with ease, i.e. they are not too overwhelming and can be completed by mini-milestones. The weekly assignments' deadlines motivate students not to lose their momentum in this course and rest assured, students are not alone in this journey. The 'SheCodes' team will review the homework submitted, and students can reach out to other coders via Slack for help.
It's like solving a maths problem, rest assured... there will always be a solution to the problem and there are lots of ways to get it! "Learn how to code" is one of my best year-end resolutions, thanks to SheCodes. If I am to describe coding in 3 words, it would be "challenging yet therapeutic" :D

Before I started this course, I already had some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. However, I found it difficult to remember the many complicated codes and I got confused really easily. SheCodes has helpt me a lot. The lessons are simple to understand and interesting and the activities are engaging and exciting, allowing me to further develop my love for coding.

In this digital age and with the rise of advanced technologies and automation, the tech industry is really a place for a myriad of job opportunities. I recognised this and I've always been intrigued to learn the official coding and programming languages however I never had the opportunity nor any clue which platforms to choose from. Then, I came across SheCodes. I joined SheCodes because I truly resonate with its message and goals. I was impressed that a company is taking the initiative to tackle a global issue in the technological industry. Furthermore, the credibility and reliability of its CEO & Founder plus the recognition from various notable companies really did it for me. I've always dreamed of working for some of the companies mentioned. Thus, I knew I had to join SheCodes. Next, the 100% online SheCodes workshop. It has bite-sized videos with mini exercises for each lesson which encourages students to take initiative and be pro-active in their learning. One can also do it at their own time and convenience within the stipulated workshop duration. If one needs any assistance, tech support on Slack and even experienced students are more than welcome to help. I learnt a lot and appreciate the positive learning environment. As a busy full-time undergraduate and part-time HR personnel exposed to learning and development, I approved of this and recognised that such methods are the future of learning. This course was so much fun, I am looking forward to the 2 follow up courses. I was eager getting to code in the evening, even after a long day at work. The classes are easy to follow, and students get encouraged to discover more on their own.
The lessons were extremely easy to follow! Matt broke down difficult concepts by giving great analogies β it made learning how to code so much easier!
I tried many different online coding courses but none of them were as engaging as SheCodes. The fact that we have a community on Slack is an added bonus because you get to see fellow SheCoders like you learn and figure out the tasks given. I especially like the fact that we are given a project at the end of the workshop for you to test your skills from the lessons. Would definitely recommend!

This coding workshop is very easy to understand and I really enjoy it! Especially got the deadline to submit homework. (I know you might think is weird but I found that I enjoy this challenge!) I have learned HTML/CSS before but that time I wasn't interested(+busy) to dive deep into it. I totally recommend who has no coding background start learning at SheCodes.
This is a well-planned workshop with videos, challenges and solutions crafted for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I love how each lesson is followed by a challenge, which allows us to apply what we learn in the video class. You will be provided with the recommended solution after you have submitted yours - this really makes myself try to solve the challenge and refine my solution afterwards! Thanks, Matt and team!
SheCodes Plus is a very nice way to learn how to build a web application. From A to Z, from designing your application to publishing it online. It was a great advantage to learn about the different (necessary) languages and tools. It was really fun to create this app. Please have a look and find your holiday destination :)
I've always wanted to experience the world of coding despite the lack of interest to pursue a career in it. The realms of logic, knowledge and problem solving, however, were enough to keep this goal on my bucket list for a long time. I'm so thankful to have joined this class for I wouldn't have otherwise known how much fun coding can be!

Bite-sized information through videos which were really easy and clear to understand. Love that we had small challenges to complete after each lesson and that helped to reinforce the learning in me. Being able to clear the lessons and homework in my own time within the week instead of in a particular day was also helpful as I could learn at my own pace, which would have otherwise dampened my motivation. :)
Though I did not have any academical background knowledge I have always been passionate about having some coding skills. SheCodes program was the perfect solution for me as I was looking for online workshops suitable for a beginner. There was clear objective of each class so I knew what I will be learning each time. Matt was an amazing teacher also. With his explanation I managed to understand concepts that I used to get confused before. Looking forward to having more workshops from SheCodes!
