Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.
At the end of this workshop, I managed to build my personal website and hosted it. This is a big milestone for me. SheCodes is fantastic! .I learned so much and feel much more confident in my abilities now. Matt was engaging and made the material easy to understand. Throughout the program, I learned numerous programming languages, such as HTML,CSS and JavaScript.This languages enabled me to understand the fundamental of cording and develop a solid foundation for more advance concept. The hands-on cording challenges and projects gave me the practical experience necessary to apply theoretical knowledge effectively. One of the most important lesson I gained from this program was problem solving.

When I first started I had no clue what HTLM,CSS and Javascript is and Matt took me step by step. I felt like a baby learning to walk but has a very good teacher. I highly recommend SheCodes, it's beginner friendly, the videos are easy to follow and the SheCodes team is very helpful on slack whenever you are stuck. Working on the weather app was so much fun even with all the bumps on the road.

If you need a sign to start learning how to code, this is it. I see the digital world in colour now because of SheCodes! I find myself trying to break down the different languages when I am browsing the internet or using my phone. I thoroughly enjoyed this course, it was so life changing! I found myself getting super excited when I wrote code and it ran and I had child-like happiness whenever my css would run and i could see it on split screen.
Learning with SheCodes is a great experience especially as a beginner with no prior background in coding or in tech. With Matt who articulates everything so well and makes it simpler to understand and follow through as well as the SheCodes team who are always available to assist has made this a great learning experience.👍😀
I would recommend this workshop for a complete beginner in web development even those who have forgotten web development skills they had learnt before.
When I say React showed me flames! It showed me flames! There were moments when I just felt like shutting my laptop and calling it. But I took breaks and rewatched Matt about a dozen times and I managed to get it down. I need to code more using react to better understand it but I now have a good basic understanding of it. What a ride!! I cannot believe I have made my own weather app from scratch. During this workshop, I was able to learn more about GitHub, APIs, and how to host websites on Netlify. I also learned advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
It was such an intense three weeks but was worth it.
