The sheCodes platform is simple and easy to navigate. After the three weeks of coding I can safely say that my interest for coding has only grown because of how simplified everything was for me.
I have learned a lot in the past few weeks and I'm grateful to SheCodes for this life-changing opportunity. I'm looking forward to commencing with the next workshop.

This was such an amazing course, everything is explained so well and simplified.The challenges helped a lot in improving my problem solving skills.The videos are easy to follow and the platform is well structured. The homework challenges and the project keeps you inspired and wanting to take on more challenges.
You would think that organizations that work tirelessly to close the gap between men and women are extinct. With every learn, challenge, and solution video I felt empowered. My favorite part was the project, allowing us to integrate what we have learned with our passions. I cannot tell you how excited I am about the future!

This was challenging but mostly fun. I had a bit of background with HTML and CSS but with the lessons i have improved so much. when it come to Java script, i still need to practice more to perfect my skill.
I do not even know where to begin. I am new to coding. However, Matt's lessons makes you feel like you've been coding for years. He makes everything seem easy. The only thing left for you to do, is to practice, practice, practice. I highly recommend SheCodes 100/10!!!

Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! Juggling the workshop and work was not easy but I am so glad I did because it was totally worth it. I enjoyed learning and applying the concepts but most importantly I have grown. I am so proud of the progress I have made from having no experience to where I am now.
When I first signed up for the SheCodes course, I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code. I thought it was something only really smart people could do. However, after starting the course, I quickly realised that coding was something anyone could learn with the right resources and support. The SheCodes course provided me with exactly that. In a short space of time, I was able to learn a lot, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The course was not only informative but also empowering. I was honestly really scared to start with this course. Once I started, it felt... easy! The videos, the community and the instructions were easy to follow but also challenging enough to make you pause and think. The feeling of achievement at the end is AMAZING!

The workshop has taught me a lot in a short period of time. It gives an idea of the kind of work developers do. The workshop is designed to enable beginners to easily grasp the concepts and understand how to apply the terms and skill learnt to solve real life problems. I loved the fact that each lesson has a challenge question at end.
The most challenging coding chapter, it was fun learning it but it gave me some tough time at the end I conquered.

I had the chance to brush up on my HTML and CSS knowledge during Week 1 of SheCodes Plus and investigate more complex components and selectors. It was simple for me to follow along and refresh my memory because the content was organized clearly and was provided in a straightforward, succinct manner. Working with many files, an area where I had previously struggled, was one of the highlights for me. Also, Matt deserves praise for his superb teaching abilities. Even the most complicated concepts were simple to understand because of him, and his interesting, well-paced videos. Overall, SheCodes Plus is a fantastic resource for anyone wishing to advance their web coding abilities.
I really enjoyed this workshop, Javascript was a bit confusing but Matt really explained it well. CSS styles was very new to me and it was really exciting to "customize" my webpage. I am looking forward to learning more:)

I had a thrilling and ultimately pleasant experience with SheCodes!! Matt is a great and knowledgeable instructor and the curriculum was well-detailed and organized. I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. Hi There The first week was very hard, maybe because I have not studied in over 10 years but once I got to the second week things got better. It also helps that you can test what you are doing as you go along and Athena is there to help as well. I really enjoyed this and will definitely be continuing with it. I tell anyone who listens about it. It is a great opportunity, hope more women take advantage of it.

The She Codes Basics course was a little bit challenging at first but considering the fact that it was my very first time learning how to code, it was easy to grasp. As I went through the challenges ,I found that I actually enjoy learning about coding and web development.
Matt could not be a better, more precise teacher/instructor! He simplifies code and skilfully relates it to every day life. All learning should be this practical and accessible. And the SheCodes staff and community at large is truly the best there is, so much support. I've not had this much fun and clarity while learning to code. I wouldn't waste a second more not signing up if this is something you fancy.

OMG, I just finished the SheCodes Basic Coding Class and I'm surprised by how much I've learned in just three weeks! Despite my lack of prior experience in coding, I must say that the class were so easy to understand and with Matt's teaching style, each class felt easy to comprehend and follow. I would recommend this class for any females who want to conquer the IT space.
I came across Delac Foundation after months of researching and looking for a bootcamp or workshop programme that will equip me with skills that will help me in my tech career and obviously securing a job. Software Development has always been associated with being a male dominated industry. Although it has always been my passion, I never took it seriously, until I came across SheCodes. To know that I'm catered for and I'm not being prejudiced made me feel comfortable with taking that leap and pursuing my dream. SheCodes has changed my life.
A year ago I would have never thought I would be doing Coding, though I was always interested in technology, and I've always wanted to work at a tech company. I come from under privilaged background where I could not afford to go to University. I was currently doing my Supply Chain Management course online and I met this lady on TikTok who spoke about Delac Foundation which helps woman to achieve a qualification as a Software developer. At first I was scared of that big name but I was anxious to know more. SheCodes came not as a stepping stone but made me realize what career I want to achieve. I thought it would be difficult but Matt simplified everything and made it easy to understand and not be scared of a black and green screen. I am very greatful.

Before joining SheCodes, I had no idea what coding was. And because of that I anticipated it would be challenging to learn or even understand, but Matt made it simple to comprehend. All I had ever known was science, and I never in a million years imagined that I would be here today writing code. I can state with confidence that I know what HTML, CSS and Javascript basic is and I can create websites, not yet professional, but I do know a few things. All I can say is that I'm eager to study more and develop my skills because the future looks too promising. Who knows, maybe I, a South African woman, might return and claim that I also work for Google. Crazy right!

What an awesome way of learning code, every challenge is intended to help you grow and learn code step by step, i would recommend this course to everyone as it is detailed, structured and focuses on syntax based in Javascript, HTML and CSS. I learnt so much information but it was not overwhelming as a summary is done to help you progress in each step. Matt is an amazing teacher and i can't wait to get to the next phase.
