It has been an incredibly enriching experience from start to finish. One aspect of the program that I particularly appreciated was the hands-on approach to learning. Through numerous practical exercises, coding projects, and real-world challenges, I gained valuable experience and confidence in my coding abilities. The program also provided ample opportunities for collaboration and networking with fellow students, fostering a supportive learning community that I found invaluable.
As I started this journey with SheCodes, I had 0 experience in coding. But the fact that I was able to create my final project and understand how I got there is a testament to how well Matt teaches. The SheCodes Basics Workshop was very enlightening. All the new concepts that I learnt were very interesting. I found it very fascinating that a few lines of code could produce what they produced and I was very amazed at the stuff I could build purely using lines of code and this was just at the basic level. I'm honestly looking forward to the rest of the workshops ahead and I'm even more excited to see what challenges they hold. I'm ready to elevate my coding skills and work towards becoming the best developer I can possibly be.
Although the videos are quite comprehensive, you do have to spend time figuring out other things for yourself. But it's all part of the learning process - and it is quite fun.
Definitely the most difficult and complex . Yet with that comes an increase in knowledge and understanding.

Responsive, a journey and a half! Definitely kept my interest as I have always wanted to get more into the design of a website and responsive images and media on different screens. I had a lot of fun creating and learning, Matt and the team were very helpful. A step up from the Plus workshops but worth the work!

I did not have a working laptop for almost a year and I had to keep moving my start date. Finally my laptop started working and I moved my start date to the 1st of January 2024 to start the new year off. I have enjoyed these last 3 weeks, a little challenging and frustrating but enjoyable nonetheless.
Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.
