At first I was overwhelmed because it all seemed so foreign to me. Then with going back and reviewing the lessons over and over again it got easier. It helps that Matt explains the concepts so well. i was recommended to shecodes by my cousin who also completed a course with them. i had recently developed a curiosity for coding and thought that doing this course would definitely be a good intro and i was not wrong. this three week course has taught me so much and i feel i am ready to create my own website as the first project in my portfolio, and hopefully from there many more projects and languages. thank you shecodes :)

As a young woman, I was never really encouraged to pursue a career in software engineering. In fact, I was often told that it was a male-dominated field and that I would have a hard time fitting in. But I decided to pursue my passion for coding and take a software course anyway. It was tough at first, but I was determined to succeed. I found a supportive community of like-minded women online, and I used my experiences to create a platform for other women who wanted to break into tech.

The support from the SheCodes and resources available online made the journey enjoyable. I never felt alone in my learning process, and the abundance of tutorials made problem-solving much more accessible. The sense of accomplishment after completing each project was a powerful motivator to keep pushing myself. Today, I stand amazed at how far I've come.
