Coding is an ever-changing field. I am still striving to be better than yesterday.

SheCodes Python Basics strikes a good balance between challenge and support. The step-by-step videos simplified tough coding logic, while the lesson challenges provided the hands-on practice I needed to stay motivated and engaged.

Five weeks, and I have a real site live on the internet — database, logins, SEO, the lot. SheCodes AI Plus explains the why behind each step, not just the prompts, so I can keep building on my own now.

The AI API Integration course was a really valuable learning experience for me. It helped me understand how APIs work and, more importantly, how I can integrate AI into my own projects using JavaScript. I really enjoyed being able to take what I learned and apply it to a project of my own. Before this course, AI integration felt quite complicated, but the course broke it down into steps that were easier to understand and follow. It gave me more confidence to experiment, build, and figure things out on my own. I’m excited to continue exploring AI APIs and using what I learned in future projects.

I really recommend it!

It was a lot of fun creating a functioning weather app. It had it's challenges and difficulties, but I am continuing to develop my skills!

This was very fun and I learned a lot on how to create multiple websites and making them responsive!

It has been an incredible journey with @SheCodes. I started without even imagining the world I was stepping into, and now, although I feel that I still have so much more to learn, I feel far more confident. Most importantly, this journey gave me a sense of direction and the certainty that this is the path I want to follow in my life. Realizing at 44 that your professional life is not what you had always dreamed of is not easy. When I started the bootcamp, I felt completely lost and had no idea what my passion was. Today, I finally know. I spend hours coding every day, and I am always eager to learn more and more.

I learn a lot with this course. Having taken the previous courses made me feel well equipped to succeed on this course. Taking the Responsive Web Design class has helped me understand how to turn creative ideas into actual, functional websites. Before the class, I knew I wanted to learn front-end development, but I wasn't always sure how HTML, CSS, layouts, and responsive design worked together. What I especially enjoyed was being able to learn by building. Each project gave me a chance to experiment, make mistakes, solve problems, and see the results immediately. Learning how to make a website adapt to different screen sizes has been especially valuable because I want my websites to look good and feel intentional whether someone visits from a desktop, tablet, or phone. The class also gave me more confidence to combine my creative interests with technology. My final project brings together my interests in crafts, perfume making, TTRPGs, and front-end development, which made the learning process feel personal rather than just like completing an assignment. I'm leaving the class with more than a finished website. I have a better understanding of responsive design, more confidence with HTML and CSS, and a foundation I can continue building on as I learn JavaScript and develop my portfolio. This class helped me realize that I don't have to choose between being creative and being technical—I can be both.

Going from AI Basics to AI Plus was so fun! I can not wait to finish AI Pro.

I really enjoyed the Responsive workshop because it helped me understand how to approach web design with different devices and screen sizes in mind. Working on practical projects made the concepts much easier to understand, and I particularly enjoyed experimenting with CSS, Bootstrap and responsive layouts. It was a valuable step in my development journey and gave me more confidence to create websites that are both functional and user-friendly.

This course was a really nice refresher on the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge I first gained in high school! This course has been phenomenal. I wasn't a complete beginner in JavaScript as I did IT in high school but I had never done CSS or HTML before and now I have a fantastic base foundation for 3 coding languages that will help me in my future career goals.

Easy to understand teaching by Matt, and the home works and challenges reinforce what you have learned. Makes learning so much fun because we learned by doing.

I really enjoyed the Responsive Add-on class. It helped me strengthen my understanding of responsive web design through CSS Grid, media queries, responsive layouts, hero sections, HTML embeds, and CSS filters. I especially enjoyed putting everything together in the final project and seeing how these techniques can be used to create a complete, responsive landing page.

It was challenging building this dictionary with React and two APIs and I learnt a lot from it. I would like to find out next if there's a way to hide the images for abstract words as they can be confusing.

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best decisions I've ever made🤗 and React was fun to learn🤗 I really enjoyed fighting with React errors, APIs, Axios, Netlify and all those "why is this code not working?!" moments🤣 SheCodes didn't just teach me how to code, it showed me that I can solve problems, be creative and build a future in tech. The course was really good! I had never built a website before, so it was a great experience to learn how to create one from scratch. I already had some knowledge of programming languages, but this course helped me understand how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript together to build a real website. Good course - I like the way it's structured with the video then the challenge.

Challenging but fun coding project incorporating more advanced aspects of HTML, CSS and Javascript to build a weather forecast app. Lots of different elements to learn and put together. Enjoyed it very much! :)

This project was a great opportunity to put my React and JavaScript skills into practice. I learned how to work with APIs, manage state, pass data between components, and create a responsive interface for different screen sizes. It was challenging at times, especially when connecting the different components and debugging the application, but solving these problems step by step made me much more confident. I’m proud of the result and excited to keep building and learning more.
