I really enjoyed learning Python. I always found the language to be confusing because I didn't know where to start but this course made it so much easier to understand.
Iām happy to share that Iāve completed a project focused on integrating AI APIs to create travel itineraries. This was an excellent way to practice working with live data and API calls while building upon my core Python knowledge. It was a fun, hands-on experience, and I'm eager to apply these skills to my future development projects.

This was definitely more advanced and the timing with shifting between Repl and Google Colab was very challenging. However, I did learn a lot and learned also to have more patience.

I really enjoyed this portion of the course as it gave me the opportunity to build my confidence with Python and understand how different concepts work together. I enjoyed learning about functions, dictionaries, APIs, and working with data, as it made the coding feel more practical and useful. I actually had some basic HTML experience from my old Tumblr customization days, so this course felt like the perfect refresher to build on that foundation. The sessions were easy to follow, and the challenges struck a great balance - hands-on enough to keep me engaged without ever feeling overwhelming. Honestly, some of the most satisfying moments came from getting things wrong. When a header wouldn't format the way I wanted, I'd rewatch the relevant tutorial, dig back into my code, and try again until it clicked. My journey with SheCodes has been incredibly meaningful and has become a true example of resilience and discipline in my life. I started the program two years ago, but along the way I faced several personal challenges that made it difficult to continue. I became ill during that time, and later I also experienced the loss of my grandmother, which was very difficult for me. Despite everything, I made the decision to return and complete the course when I was able to, and I am very grateful that I did. Coming back to SheCodes has been a truly positive experience. I enjoyed every part of the learning process, had fun building projects, and learned a lot of valuable skills. Even on difficult days, coding helped me stay focused, distracted in a healthy way, and motivated me to keep building a better future for myself. To be honest I had zero expectations about this course. How could I have any when I had zero knowledge about coding at all! Even though it was a short course, I had to delay my homework deadline once and also recalibrate the course timeline once due to other commitments but it was surprisingly easy to pick the course back up after a few weeks which tells a lot about the quality of the information provided and the method of teaching. If you have been interested in learning something about coding but so far always postponed it because you thought you will not be able to devote enough time for it or because you were worried you will not understand anything, I would encourage you to give this course a shot. You might surprise yourself :)
