The AddOn Workshop really helped to solidify what I've been learning. I was surprised how much longer it took me than I initially thought it would take. I really wanted to grasp and practice all of the concepts, which is why I didn't rush through it. Matt does a remarkable job explaining each point, which I really appreciate!
A fun little project with a lot of lessons. This course taught us how to use CSS filters extensively from scratch. Definitely a valuable skill to have. Matt is an excellent instructor. Always a pleasure. Off to the next adventure....

This was the final project and definitely one of the most challenging ones, mainly because there was a lot of trial and error (a lot of error mainly). I like the results and seeing how far I've come in understanding React.
Python is a very difficult language to master, but this course opened up my options for data analytics and structures.
The SheCodes React Dictionary project has been such a satisfying project to build. Everything from the React course came together in one place: components, state, API integration, responsive design, and real UX thinking. I loved going beyond the brief: I designed the empty state from scratch with a custom animated SVG illustration, and added small details like synonym chips. React keeps inspiring me to build more. Best course but a bit challenging
I thoroughly enjoyed the course from beginning to end. It was my first time working with React, and I found it to be an incredible tool. During the project, I developed a complete website where I integrated several functionalities: definition searches, synonyms, antonyms, phonetic transcription, and illustrative images for each word. I really enjoyed the challenge of connecting APIs, managing state, and designing an intuitive interface. I'm leaving the course eager to continue creating more projects.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course. Before this, I struggled a lot with front-end development, especially CSS. It often felt confusing and hard to bring designs to life. This course helped me understand things more clearly and made front-end development feel more approachable. Iβm not perfect yet, but I feel much more confident in my ability to build and style projects on my own. I also appreciated the hands-on projects, which made it easier to apply what I was learning. Started off unsure how to use AI in my projects, but now I am confident and learned a lot.
It has been a challenging journey for me but the short structured lessons were of great help. I appreciate the self -paced lessons and the youtube videos attatched. They were of much help especially when it came to use of Git hub. I was supposed to have submitted my week 8 project in Jan 12 2026. Am happy I didn't quit and I have completed it in April. I say thank you to the she codes team and more importantly to Matt.
Creating a Weather application from start to finish has been a big learning journey and exceedingly rewarding. Learning how to use JavaScript in such a way and how API works is such a game-changer. Great Course 10/10!!!!

Learning React has been a really interesting experience for me. I truly enjoyed the process, even though it wasnβt as easy as what I had learned before. At times it felt challenging, especially getting used to new concepts and the way everything connects, but that also made it more rewarding. Overall, it has been a valuable learning experience, and I definitely want to continue improving my React skills and exploring more advanced topics.
Creating the weather application from scratch was definitely fun but it can be tricky if you aren't paying close attention to detail with javascript. Overall, learning the more advanced steps to integrate the forecast through JavaScript instead of going through HTML was pretty cool to learn.

I came to SheCodes with the knowledge I had learned from playing around with MySpace and Tumblr templates and got to understand the fundamentals of all three languages and more than anything an appreciation for my favorite websites. I appreciated how each lesson was built on the previous one and that helped me to retain the information in a consistent format.
I liked how the lessons all built upon one another. I found myself opening multiple browsers so I could look back at the lessons. My confidence built through the course.

I really enjoyed the Shecodes course, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to start learning Front-End development. The courses in each week are well explained and not too long. There are assignments after each course which are absolutely helpful for learning and practicing. The homework at the end of each week is quite helpful and contains everything that was explained during the week. By doing it you'll make sure that you are able to build what you've learned.
The SheCodes Basic course provided me the fundamentals to start my coding journey. The workshops were easy to follow and the projects were practical. Excited to keep going on my coding journey and continue developing my skills!
I canβt recommend SheCodes Python enough! The lessons are clear, the platform is beautiful, and the technical support is top-notch. I never thought Iβd actually enjoy learning about loops and dictionaries, but the way SheCodes gamifies the learning process makes it addictive. I walked away with a solid foundation in Python and a project Iβm genuinely proud of. Best investment Iβve made in myself this year! The only downside was working with Replit; it felt completely different from Mattβs explanations and often contradicted the Replit documentation, which was a bit frustrating at times.
This was so fun and I learned so much! Everything was so much easier and way less intimidating than I thought it would be. I can't wait to try more workshops and maybe even a bootcamp!

The SheCodes Responsive course is a great choice if you want to learn how to build responsive websites. Clear explanations, lots of practice, and real cases. After completing it, I feel much more confident working with responsive design.
After 5 years, Iβm back with SheCodes, and it feels really good to be doing this again. Life can take you in different directions, and you donβt even realize when you drift away from things you enjoy. Sometimes you just need a little push to come back. I really enjoyed playing around with grids, image effects, and switching between light and dark mode. Matt makes everything super easy to follow, clear, relaxed, and never overwhelming. Happy to be back.

Python advance was very challenging, but logic at the same time. My experience in linguistics seems to help. The instructions were very clear and it helps me advance toward my goal of learning about Natural language in Machine learning.

i started shecodes 2023 and had so much joy in me but along the line i suffered a major setback that made me stop learning . Fast forward to 2026, i came back and was so happy i still had access. started all over again, learnt, did my projects all over again, summitted them all over again and i must say, am so grateful for this. Its like i got back in control of my life and did what i always wanted to do. Thank you shecodes because my loved ones always wanted to know how far i have gone. This is a dream come true!.
The SheCodes React course has been an incredible six weeks. Matt has a rare ability to take complex concepts and make them feel approachable, always guiding you through the journey step by step, no matter the challenge. What excited me most was discovering a completely new way of thinking about code. Learning to build with components, manage state, map through live data, and structure a full component tree unlocked a new level of thinking about how web products are built. The moment things started clicking β functions inside functions, components talking to each other β was really satisfying. React made me want to keep building. That says everything about how much this course inspired me. A huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for yet another rewarding and eye-opening learning experience. I cannot wait to keep exploring how far React can take me.
