It's been an amazing journey learning with Shecodes despite taking a long break in between due to busy work schedules, the learning videos are very helpful for revision and catch ups. Also, Matt is doing a great job with the tutoring, for someone like me coming from an accounting background and with zero coding experience, I can now boast that I have a great insight into the world of coding.
React lessons were pretty easy to digest thanks to Matt & his great team and I appreciate all the effort put into this amazing project that introduced me to the wonderful world of React.

Wonderful addition to the Responsive workshop, going "back to basics" and replicating what i.e. Bootstrap does by using HTML and CSS only. Very complex, but again, amazingly explained and guided by Matt!

Three weeks of intensive coding, learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript! It was fun working on the challenges and sometimes frustrating not knowing how to solve particular problems on my own but we have such an amazing team at SheCodes that make everything so easier, not forgetting the students' platform (Slack) where we get to interact and help each other with coding problems. I have always been interested in tech engineering and the coding world since I was a child. When I first heard about it, I thought it was unattainable as I only saw white men in that industry. As I grew up, my aunt, who went into the data engineering industry, inspired me. I realized that as a black child, I could also be in that industry. I was introduced to MATLAB and completed the Mathworks Onramp. My aunt told me about SheCodes, and I decided to try it out. It was scary at first as I was hearing things I didnβt know. I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I loved the way everything was explained, and I could have a 100% understanding of the concepts while also being challenged. I loved that it was self-paced, so I didnβt have to stress about it and could do it at my own pace. Iβm excited to learn more, but what I can say is SheCodesΒ isΒ amazing.
