Before starting React, I thought I would face a very challenging coding journey and complicated codes. While learning it with Matt, I found it very enjoyable. Each part is explained in the most simple way so that you can grasp the point immediately. Different parts are connected to each other, so this helps us to practice the previous ones as we go forward. Truly appreciate Shecodes for such an amazing course.
She Codes PLUS was so challenging yet, so rewarding. What a great way to learn, be creative and deep diving into the foundational heart of UI coding. I enjoyed this course more than the BASICS as there was so much learnt. It's amazing how much you can learn in such a short amount of time! The layout of the lessons were perfect for me as I struggle to pay attention for long periods of time when learning, so the short chunks were easily digestible and it didn't feel too overwhelming. Just because it has 'basic' in the name doesn't mean it's easy! There were definitely a couple of moments where my brain was frazzled but I found it so enjoyable overall.
I wanted to learn how to code just to give me more skillset as a UX designer. I've tried learning on my own and that didn't work, due to just all the information out there without guidance on where to start. I came across SheCodes and I am so glad that I did because it truly is amazing with teaching the basics of coding. Not only is it enjoyable, but it is in a way that is really easy to understand and it has sparked my interest to continue to practice my new skillset!

I started the coding workshop with no coding experience. At the beginning, it felt a bit overwhelming but having Matt as a teacher was really amazing. He always motivated us to try our best and simplified the coding languages for us. I love challenging myself and this was a good way of doing so while gaining a new skill set.

I just completed SheCodes Plus and it was amazing. The first workshop was great too, but a bit of general "information overload" whereas the Plus workshop is where it all came together for me. The foundation that was set in the Introduction to Coding was vital - as without that basis this workshop would have been very, very difficult. As a non-engineer member of an IT team, my whole objective was to familiarize myself with the basics of the technologies that my team members use everyday; and now, not only do I feel more confident when communicating with my team, but I also have discovered a new passion -- for coding!
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow and am eager to apply what I've learned to new and exciting projects. I knew SheCodes from last December and I started to have interest in coding after their free coding class. I have tried other coding courses but I feel the teaching methods are not suitable for me. My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜.
