I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

Course is just amazing for the beginners. Easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.
Matt is an amazing teacher! He helped me transition into the world of HTML, CSS and JS and explained every single concept in depth with examples. I'm a CS major but I wanted to expand my knowledge about Web Development and didn't know where to start. Would definitely recommend SheCodes to those who have no experience with coding and want to break into tech.

An amazing and intense 3 week course! I've absolutely loved how easy and structured SheCodes have made it. Matt is amazing at explaining everything in simple ways, and the community and help you receive is more than I imagined. Really pleased to have the Basics which will really help me in my job roles, and even as a side hobby. My appreciation for developers really began when I became a Product Manager working in health tech. It was then I realised how much goes into developing a product. As a Product Manager I had to ensure I told the "story" about how users need to be engaging with the product, but had little to no understanding of how the developers actually thought. This basics course with SheCodes has really given me an amazing insight into the developer/coding world. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it certainly has broken a lot of misconceptions that coders are introverts and quiet - The SheCodes community is amazing and I've met extroverts, ambiverts and all kind of personalities whilst learning. You have access to other participants' projects and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn more. The community is active on Slack and it's growing constantly. Above all, I think the most valuable part of the project is the SheCodes Foundation which supports women in need all around the world. They offer their programs to a lot of women completely for free. SheCodes has been AMAZING thus far! I have zero coding experience or background (just simply an interest in coding). I was seeking to transition from an entirely new career outside of healthcare to a more technical/IT career path. I love how thorough the courses are and break explanations down to a 1st-grade level so that it is easy to understand and follow along. SheCodes has exceeded my expectations and fear of jumping into a new field!
I have loved every minute of this workshop, diving into some advanced HTML/CSS/JavaScript. It was not easy, but the clear explanations and encouraging words of Matt, and the support of the supportteam on Slack really help you get through. I truly enjoyed building the Weather App, I struggled sometimes I'm not going to lie. However, if we start thinking and trying to find solutions we'll get there. I'm hoping to pursue a degree in computer science but wasn't sure if I'd really get the hang of coding or be genuinely interested for that matter. After seeing several videos and attending their webinar I decided to enroll in SheCodes and its been an amazing experience. Communicating with matt and gaining the confidence and interest has allowed me to come a long way in my coding journey. I'm so happy I began with SheCodes Basics, it definitely enhanced my patience and problem solving skills when things got a bit hard. I am amazed at this program! I have coded in the past but mostly HTML + CSS with no JavaScript. This beginner course really solidified my passion for coding and web design. Matt is such a great teacher, the logic and the structure of the program made it so easy to learn the basics. All the lessons were just long enough to give you context and the challenged we're so well done. I enjoyed how some challenged added elements we hadn't learned into them, allowing us to learn in the wild and be more resourceful. Amazing that you just after 8 weeks are able to build a simple website. Some parts of coding can be challenging, but I love that the languages have a clear structure and logic to them. And together with HTML and CSS, you can be very creative.
As everything we do in life, even learning how to code can be frustrating sometimes but with this amazing team and all the support from the community everything is possible. I'm so proud to have my first app online and I couldn't be more proud of myself! It wouldn’t have been possible without SheCodes!

SheCodes gave me the best introduction to coding. I think it can be difficult, especially when one small error can cause a piece of code to not run. Everyone should sign up, and the fact that it is affordable yet informative is amazing. I'm excited to keep going.

Hello, I think taking Shecode workshop was defiantly a great decision. At first I was a little hesitant because I’m a busy mom of two toddlers. I spent about 1-2 hrs per day on the lessons. Matt is at amazing teacher he really breaks down each lesson for easy understanding. This workshop was 3 weeks long and it covered the fundamentals . I would defiantly take more shecodes workshops.
Well-structured videos, you never get bored, if you have any struggles, you can always get help on slack. I had amazing 5 weeks, and I am so proud of myself completing the final project. Highly recommend and waiting to start next workshop!
