Amazing learning experience.
SheCodes Basics was an amazing introduction to coding! I'm very excited to move on to my next workshop of Plus React! Overall it is well organized and the lessons are well explained with great challenges along the way to practice the knowledge. It helps the homework and final project feel more manageable as well. One of the best online courses I have taken! Highly recommend 👍

I'm so glad I fought through this one! It was more difficult, but I appreciate the chance to understand React and how it differs from standard JS. I will soon be launching a web design business with my husband because of all that I've learned over the past year. I can definitely say that I'm confident enough to understand and sell our product and manage client portfolios. I have come a long way with the amazing skills I have now. This was a wonderful experience.

Wow I can't believe how much I've learned in 5 months! Going for a complete beginner to coding full complex apps. Matt is an excellent teacher and the whole team at SheCodes is amazing, they provide very fast and helpful support when ever I run into a bug. Highly recommend!

I loved the Basics Workshop, and I am excited to continue learning about code with SheCodes! It is such a useful skill to have and the feeling of being able to create (in this case, a landing page), is amazing. Although I am a beginner, the Workshop didn't feel overwelming because every class is build perfectly on top of the previous one. The SheCodes community is also very positive and welcoming. It is great to be connected to other women around the world and to support each other during our SheCodes journey!
Another amazing experience with SheCodes! Many times an overlooked aspect of programming, knowing how to build a responsive page is in fact fundamental. I've certainly learned essential coding skills for building not only a nice-looking website but also one that is fully responsive and functional. I highly recommend taking this workshop. SheCodes is great for hands-on + visual learning. The way the classes are structured makes it easy to follow along and the material is digestible. I loved the courses and having homework at the end of the week it allowed for true flexibility. I know from this workshop I'm well on my way to being an amazing web-developer!

As someone who wants to get into coding, SheCodes is an amazing source for those new to coding and want to learn.
I came across SheCodes one night just before bed as I searched for coding classes while laying in bed and got myself enrolled for the free coding class. After attending the free class, I enquired about the prices and was rather skeptical. I had so many questions racing through my head on whether I should commit myself to do this?, if it was gonna be worth it?, will I stay motivated to complete the package?(p.s. I was interested on the Pro package), why is it expensive do they do student prices?, despite all that I got in touch with the customer success officer and registered myself for the Pro package. The team is simply awesome. I wanted a class that is flexible, interactive, challenging and rewarding. Hands down, SheCodes is one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made for myself. I am wanting for more and more lessons every single day, It's just so interesting that I don't want to put it away!

I am 21 years old and have always worked retail jobs, I am looking forward to finishing SheCodes Pro to open the door to potential job opportunities. SheCodes Basic was amazing, I learned so much. This workshop was 🤩amazing and this weather app was a challenge. 3 Months ago I thought coding was too tech and too difficult for me but I did it💪! It is truly amazing the amount of progress it si possible to do when you have a good teacher like Matt who is precise and meticulous and is able to demystify code so well. Two months ago, I knew nothing about coding and now I just finished building a functional weather app! I also love to be part of the SheCodes school who is enabling so many women all over the world! I can't believe I've finished the last SheCodes course! It has been an amazing learning journey. React has been for sure the most challenging, but at the same time I'd say its the most powerful tool. I enjoyed it a lot!
I cannot say this enough: this project was amazing! The more I progress through SheCodes bootcamps, the more exciting the projects are! I learned so much from responsive and can't wait for what the world has in store for me after this. It feels bittersweet; I'm so glad to finish it but at the same time I don't want it to end!
My initial impression of coding was that it was tough, neck-breaking, and no fun. So when I dived into tech, I started with graphic designs and recently UI/UX dev. I am so grateful that I crossed paths with the SheCodes workshop which made my transition into coding totally amazing. I must say I am totally hooked. Coding is neck-breaking 😀 and can be fun too, and it helps me give life to my creative ideas. I really appreciate Matt Delac whose simplicity in teaching got me this far. I am excited about the next workshop!
SheCodes made what seemed to be so complex to me, quite the opposite thanks to Matts amazing detailed videos, and a great team from slack that helped with any questions throughout the course. The videos clearly demonstrated all the elements that go into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and even paced students to figure out some details on their own. This course is very motivating and I can't wait to learn more!
This is an extraordinary course! everything is covered here to allow you become a successful coder! it provides very good learning materials and practical assignments at the end of each lesson and it's well-organized modules prevents you from being overwhelmed! SheCodes is amazing! I can't believe how much I've learnt in the space of 8 weeks! Yes, it was frustrating and challenging at times but the struggle was definitely worth it! SheCodes has truly been a wonderful experience and a highlight by far. From starting in the Basics Workshop to now graduating from SheCodes React. Wow! Time does fly when you’re having fun! I have learned so much about coding and had lots of fun along the way. Not to mention making amazing connections with fellow SheCoders. I have developed a core, well-rounded understanding of coding and learning React as a widely used programming language will open many opportunities.
Finally I made it through! Yet another amazing Responsive journey! Working full-time and love to code has been very difficult for me this time, but many thanks to Matt for his beautiful lesson planning and to SheCodes team for the great encouragement and the support that they have been giving to all of us. :)
My journey so far has been amazing and totally worth it. I'm always looking forward to the next lesson. Also Learnt how to put code into an actual project.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to any girl who is not necessarily that interested in coding but feels the need to challenge herself, step outside of ther comfort zone and explore a completely new way of thinking - thinking like a machine in a way! Keep your head up when it gets difficult because the reward when you figure the problems out is an amazing feeling!

SheCodes is amazing!!! Previously, I've been enrolled on few coding platforms in a bid to learn software development. One major challenge I had was understanding the reason why some codes are written in a certain way. Getting started on SheCodes, I've had the best learning experience so far. I can't only write codes, I understand and have an explanation to each line of codes and function. Super excited to start the next phase of my learning and I look forward to completing SheCodes Pro.
SheCodes was such a good find! I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I have no previous experience in coding, but the videos were very clear and simple to understand, could watch at my own pace. Matt was incredible, he has so much knowledge to give and makes his videos interesting. It's amazing to see the lessons come alive with your own solutions. This has been an amazing experience! I have taking some coding classes while getting my Engineering degree and couldn't grasp it to well. SheCodes has turned that around for me. I cannot wait to continue my journey with the rest of the SheCodes workshops and see what more I can do! I highly recommend these workshops!

SheCodes has been an amazing journey. SheCodes Basics has simply been the best place for me to actually learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We used real tools, and thus got to work in the environment that professionals operate in. Lessons are very hands-on and you need to use the knowledge you've learnt in a lesson in the next challenge, so you have to pay attention. It is no problem though, because Matt keeps it very fun, up-beat and engaging. I would highly recommend SheCodes for any girl/woman/lady+++ who wants to learn how to code.

I had so much fun learning to code! I loved how organized the weeks were, divided by each lesson and a lot of information below the video and also the challenges were great to practice. Simply amazing! I cant believe I learned how to code a basic webpage in two and a half weeks. The last time I ever manipulated a HTML was to add music on MySpace in 2005. I did not think that I would be able to pick up this skill so quickly but with Matt's guidance and thorough explanation through each solution I was able to practice and produce a functional visible code starting from a blank page.
This has been by far the best virtual class I have taken. The structure of the classes, homework, slack channels etc. are really amazing. The only thing I would change about it is a few of the videos. I found only a small number of the videos a bit confusing and I would go back a few times to watch them again and again ... I thought they could be better edited and explained at times.
SheCode was able expand my knowledge of coding. From the videos, to the hands-on practice, I now have a greater understanding about coding and how it is used in everyday technologies. SheCodes sparked my coder journey and it was amazing to be able to create my own website from scratch! 🤗
SheCodes is amazing. In just 3 weeks I've felt like I've gotten a good foundation on the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS. I honestly cannot wait to jump into the next level and keep learning. The videos are engaging and easily digestible and I absolutely love the hands-on challenges that allow you to put what your learning to practice. I could not recommend SheCodes enough.

SheCodes Responsive has been a fantastic introduction to responsive web design! The lessons are very clear and easy to understand, and the challenges really help put what you learn into practice. I've been using what I have learned in this workshop daily in my role as a software developer! I'm so thankful to SheCodes for everything they have taught me! The community is exceptionally friendly and supportive, and I've met so many amazing people through SheCodes. You can bet that if there is ever a new workshop in the future I will be signing up as quick as I can! I wouldn't want to learn from anyone else!

Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to fully enjoy this workshop. That said, I did enjoy the break it provided from school and work, but I felt like I weren't able to be creative "enough" this time around. SheCodes were amazing as per usual though! I'm very happy that I chose to do these workshops, as I probably wouldn't have been able to allocate time for front-end coding on my own, without SheCodes deadlines to spur me on :) Thanks!

Amazing Again! This is my 3rd course with SheCodes, and I have gained an insane amount of skills and confidence in coding within a short space of time. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my own Responsive website for my portfolio, it gave me ample opportunity to strengthen my command of Bootstrap. After taking Basics and Plus, I was fully equipped to tackle my Responsive project more independently. It was great learning how to build a project on which I could showcase my Weather App and future projects too! My mind is buzzing with all of the projects I want to build now!

I would have never thought it would be possible for me to become interested in coding but I had a lot of fun! It really is amazing to be able to create something out of nothing and lots of fun when something does not work and you have to figure out why! I loved this workshop. I created a weather app from scratch which was awesome. I learned to use a lot of amazing features of javascript and I enjoyed every minute doing so. Totally recommend this one.
I enjoyed participating in the SheCodes Basics workshop. Before signing up for the SheCodes React workshop package I looked around at a lot of different virtual learning options and was more drawn to the overall look and feel of SheCodes. I like that it seems approachable. That may feel small to someone more experienced, but for me it made all the difference. The lessons are broken down into easily digestible subsections, are very concise, and build upon the prior lesson so one gains a cumulative skillset without even acknowledging it. Additionally, Matt is easy to listen to and unintentionally funny. Having open access to the SheCodes slack channels is also an amazing learning tool. It's easy to get caught up and bogged down in the minutiae of whatever one may be building/debugging. Reading thru the slack and testing other people's code can help one to look at their own project differently with new eyes. I'm honestly really proud of what I made for this final project with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
