Honestly, I can't believe that I have managed to complete the Shecodes basic coding. I am so happy, coming from a fashion and hospitality background, I wanted a change and to get new skills. I have always loved CODING, but was intimidated by it. I am a Christian, so I spent some time asking God what I should do. And whilst I was in that season of prayer, waiting for an answer from the Lord, I came across SheCodes Ad, and I knew this was what I needed. I am 47 and a single mom, and I am so grateful to God that I am learning coding. I love everything, and I honestly want to say a big THANK YOU to Matt, you are such a blessing and an amazing Teacher. Within less than two weeks, I successfully completed yet another React course โ the SheCodes React Add-on, and what a journey itโs been! This course took my React skills to a whole new level. I built a fully functional dictionary app from scratch, using live data from external APIs and styling it responsively with Tailwind CSS. I learned how to manage state efficiently, handle user inputs, integrate image search with the Pixabay API, and create a smooth, dynamic user experience. Despite the fast pace, I enjoyed every moment, from facing challenges like debugging axios requests, to watching my app come to life, step by step. It was intense but exciting, and it boosted both my confidence and my coding skills. I'm really proud of this milestone and even more excited about the projects Iโll build next with everything Iโve learned. Joining SheCodes was a turning point in my tech journey. During the Plus AI, I started by building simple but exciting projects like a joke generator, which sparked my interest in combining creativity with code. As I progressed, I was introduced to the incredible potential of AI. For my final SheCodes project, I developed a Poem Generator powered by AI, a tool that generates beautiful, original poems with just a click. It felt amazing to merge front-end skills I learned (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with the intelligence of AI. Not only did I improve my coding skills, but I also realized how AI can be a creative partner in development. This experience inspired me to continue building smarter and more meaningful applications

My journey to learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has been amazing, what I love the most was the detailed video explanation by our instructor Matt๐, sometimes when my code didn't run I felt frustrated but what stood out for me in this workshop was when our instructor said in a certain video "Have fun and Google is your friend, research, don't copy code but use it as inspiration and that you can get help from us if you feel stuck". I love these motivational words because during my project, I felt down at some moments, but recalling those words motivated me a lot. I am so excited that despite all the hurdles, I was able to complete my project, and most of all, I had quite a lot of fun coding. If you really want to learn coding, then SheCodes is for you, because whether you are a beginner or intermediate, the workshop structure and standard is top-notch๐so if I can code, then so can you, Up Up SheCodes. Amazing Workshop and would highly recommend it. It was always my own personal bucket list as to how to develop a website and here is it I have learned the Basics. Definitely taking this learning journey ahead by going to advanced courses.
