It was very exciting to learn something from scratch! I have never done any kind of coding before SheCodes and to be able to complete this was really amazing. Finally! I couldn't be happier to have completed this part of the amazing SheCodes workshops. It took me much longer than most people, I was in a really dark place mentally, and even though it was hard, I did keep pushing (pun intented) and I am extremely joyful that I did. I learned so much more about JavaScript, got acquainted with GitHub, Axios and APIs. Understood the importance of an organized code, now I'm confident that the flexibility of the code always comes first and beats aesthetics. I am 31 and looking to change careers. I've always been fascinated with how computers work, how they do all the amazing things they do. SheCodes was advertised on instagram whilst I was looking at jobs like Online Marketing and I thought "What a good skill to have." It applies to so many careers and I had some time off of work to dedicate to learning a new skill. The SheCodes Basics course has been amazing. The bite-sized lessons and challenges to test what you've just learnt is an incredible teaching technique. I've enjoyed it so much and have recommended it to friends. It's an amazing tool to learn! I would suggest making your home page as clean as you can, SEO friendly, adding header and footers, and with as good structure and class names as possible before adding the rest of the pages, this will save you a lot of time when building the rest of the pages.

SheCodes is such an immersive workshop. Here we learned about the moment.js library, built to simplify the retrieval of data concerning times and timezones across the globe. I had a lot of fun building the World Clock App using this amazing tool.

This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

It's amazing to have this new knowledge. However I felt that this module is too compressed: too much information in little time. Comparing to other modules I'm not feeling that confidente about working in React by muself, but I'll continue my efforts.

So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have.
