I loved my time doing this course! The lessons were well-planned and the curriculum is well-structured to provide scaffolding to learners. This helped to break down the entire learning process to bite-sized pieces which were challenging yet manageable. I had so much fun coding and growing my love to code. Matt is very clear in his explanations and the videos were very helpful to help visualise the learning. Thank you all! Can't wait to continue furthering my coding skillsets :)

This was a really fun workshop to do! I am really glad that we had to build 2 different projects because you can definitely see the learning curve. In the first project I was struggling with React and getting constant error messages - in the second project I was already able to understand and use it much better. I am sure if I start creating some projects on my own that it will go smoother and smoother. Thanks for the mentoring and great help in the Slack community.

I've been wanting to do a portfolio website for a long time. So this is really a fun and necessary project for me ;)

I had basic knowledge about HTML and I remember customizing my own "MySpace" page back then. I remember how fun it was and sadly, I didn't know that it could be something that I can do as a grown up and earn money with. I had so much fun learning basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the past three weeks!

This was definitely a challenge but I had a lot of fun learning how to create this app!! Matt explained each section in such a clear, concise, and easily digestible way. I am so proud and ready for the responsive workshop!

It's so much fun working on your final weather app project step by step. It really gives motivation to see what you can already do in just a few weeks. Thanks to SheCodes I learned a lot. I highly recommend SheCodes as everything is explained so well & the support is great, during the video's where Matt is encouraging you to not worry when you get stuck and to take your time, but also in the Slack community where the team is answering your questions very quickly. Awesome Basic Workshop! A fantastic beginning class, a great middle between challenging but attainable. I learned a LOT and can't wait to continue on to the other courses. I really enjoyed the challenges at the end of each lesson, which helped to build and solidify my knowledge. I did have to take notes and re-watch some videos, but I quickly learned that's okay! Be kind to yourself and have fun and you will make it through! Matt's videos are easy to understand and follow--great teacher.

I am so proud of what I have learned and accomplished over these past weeks. Coding has been so much fun; it is something I now look forward to getting a chance to do. These lessons are so easy to digest and follow, and every time I think something is a little too challenging for me, I surprise myself by being able to do it with little to no difficulties. I also love the words of encouragement Matt gives - reminding us that we are very capable of doing this! As someone who already had the basics of programming down prior to signing up to SheCodes, I must say that I am amazed how the first workshop i.e. SheCodes Basics is so well structured! From a beginner's perspective, it provides up-to-date basic knowledge and, most importantly, hands-on coding experience in a very easy-to-understand way, without being confusing or overwhelming at all! SheCodes Basic was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next workshop to begin! :)

Learning coding again is really fun, as a DevOps Engineer I already knew how it works at the backend but never tried to Develop web applications. The course structure is very detailed and the challenges for every lesson makes it more interesting to implement the things we learn.

I always thought coding was only for super tech-savy people. But when Matt explained that coding does not necessarily mean you need to be a super tech person, or even able to install your family'a printer at home, I am became brave enough to try my fist lesson. Interestingly, it turns out to be so fun! It helps me regulate my thoughts and emotions. The feeling of building something from scratch into a clickable website is so satisfying. The open sources are also very accessible, so you can learn a lot daily.

SheCodes changed my mind about coding! I used to think coding was boring and inaccessible, but learned it is actually creative and a lot of fun. AND something I am capable of. SheCodes plus was eye-opening fun but also challenging! I have learned a lot from more advanced Javascript to new learnings such as IU development, Bootstrap, open-source codes on GitHub, development workflows, and API integrations. All came to use in the final weather application project, in which I am very proud to say that I built my own. Highly recommend SheCodes Plus if you want to learn advanced technologies and build your own projects!

I can say with great pride that I have built my first weather app, and I am super happy with the result. This workshop has been challenging at times, but I have had so much fun! As a result, I have acquired heaps of knowledge on API and Vanilla JavaScript. I never thought this would be possible, but Matt's lessons are so easy to follow and to understand. I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus! It was definitely challenging, and a lot to learn. BUT the amount of knowledge I've gained in such a short time is amazing. I came across SheCodes while on Instagram, and later signed up on the 19/11 21 as I am now retired from nursing and have time for myself. I wanted to learn how to code for a long time now but was first very doubtful about my capacities in learning coding by myself (based on online tutorials). I wanted to take the challenge and so i suscribed to Shecodes! This workshop and the way Matt explained coding made it super fun and interesting to learn. This workshop was so much fun. It is hands on and not always easy but it feels amazing to solve challenges and keep learning. I really love the way Matt presents the stuff. The teaching assistants are also amazing, they take the time to answer ALL kind of questions and check the homework. I am looking forward to the next level...

This was way more fun than I expected, and I really enjoyed playing around with the various HTML, CSS and JS elements to tweak the final webpage! Matt's guidance is really clear along the process, with encouragement given to try more things if one wishes.

The workshop was fun and educational, focusing on very practical skills and suitable for a beginner. Especially the intro to JavaScript was quite useful!

The video included with each lesson was very helpful. I wish each lesson came with literature explaining WHY each of those commands yields its specific function. If I am indeed learning a language, the purpose of certain commands is important to understand more than memorize.

Great experience! Extremely fun to do and actually see the result of your hard work.

I have been wanting to join the world of coding for a long time and was not sure where to begin. I found SheCodes and upon learning about how organized, supportive and FUN it was I decided to take the jump and begin my journey! I can say for a fact that after finishing these courses, I want to continue!

There was a fair bit of debugging and JavaScript, so patience is needed. But React is a lot of fun and once you've got an app running, it changes your mindset especially all the times you might have pulled your hair out. Matt walks through everything so it's clear how things are done and why it's done that particular way. Highly recommend this learning path and SheCodes!

I had a lot of fun learning coding. Lesson are simple, fun and effective. Matt is great and fun instructor. And if you need help, you can get it from excellent instructors and other students. I did not feel like I was only learning, but that I was part of something great. I am so happy I did this.

I've been trying to start learning code for a few years and each time stopped because it was overwhelming, boring, difficult and the end result was a little black screen with "hello world" written on it. SheCodes changed the whole picture for me. Not only I enjoyed the workshop, I also intend to finish all the available workshops. The whole learning process was fun, easy to learn, empowering and the end result is stunting. I honestly never thought I could build something like that.
