I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop. Matt's step by step videos are easy to follow and make learning to code really fun, simple and fulfilling. I even did a little cheer when I first made a button work with javascript, yay! 🙌
What exciting couple of weeks continuing my SheCodes journey and completing the SheCodes Plus workshop! 😃 Learning how to use Bootstrap for structuring and changing the layout of webpages in an easier way, Git & GitHub for version control and Netlify for hosting webpages. I enjoyed the step-by-step process of building my own fully functional weather application, leaning how to use APIs and designing it the way I liked. Once again thank you Matt and team for the awesome workshop from which I learned lots! I would highly recommended the SheCodes Plus workshop for anyone who would like to learn more about Front-End Development. I am looking forward to continuing with the SheCodes Responsive workshop! 😃
Before starting this workshop,I had some html/css/java knowledge. Following the basics workshop helped me to bring structure to what I already knew. I had quite some fun following it and working on the homeworks and more specifically on the final project!

The Introduction to Coding was fun and challenging. With no prior knowledge of coding, I learned a lot in the last three weeks. I am definitely looking forward to learning more in the SheCodes Plus program.

This is definitely a fun and pleasant workshop to attend as an introduction to coding. I wanted to know just a bit more on how coding works to relate to the day to day programs I am using at work, SheCodes definitely delivered on that. It is really easy to understand and follow, the materials provided were fantastic! 😊
I really loved the 3 weeks spent on the Basics course! It was well paced and Matt was a great teacher. He broke down the concepts into digestible short videos that were easy to follow. The challenges allows us to apply what was learnt immediately after which helps to consolidate the learning as well as address any misunderstandings of how the function works! The team was really prompt with queries and were super friendly which makes it a very welcoming learning environment:)
I've been wanting to learn coding for so long and I am glad I started with SheCodes. To me it is vital to be able to learn in my own pace and SheCodes is perfect for that. It is really fun and encouraging to be in this community where women get to learn how to be more confident in tech! Thanks to Matt & Team for making this possible.
I came across a SheCodes ad during the first COVID-19 lockdown in Austria. I remember thinking at the time: "hey, why not?". One year later, I finally registered to the Basic SheCodes Workshop and I did not regret it. I thought the workshop was fun, highly interesting, challenging enough and well balanced. It gave me lots to think about regarding my next professional steps. Thank you again to the entire SheCodes team!
This was a very fun experience. The course was structured in a clear and understandable format. I thoroughly enjoyed each lesson as it was very interactive.
The course was pretty easy to follow. Learnt lots of new and interesting things. It was super fun and challenging to build a page from scratch, adding new features one by one and watching the page come to live with each commit was so exciting! (:
It was frustrating at times but so very fun and rewarding. Learning something new is not always easy but always worthwhile and this certainly was.

It was a fun yet challenging course. Facing the challenges made it all the more satisfying when finding the solutions or bugs in the code. I'm feeling very accomplished having finished this course.
I started with SheCodes Basics a few months back and really enjoyed the class and everything I was learning, Matt does a good job of explaining things and letting you see his work as he goes. I've made the time to go through the current three other courses available. Finishing SheCodes Plus was challenging, but really fun and I feel more aware of what goes on behind the curtain now. I look forward to starting SheCodes Responsive and React next!

An absolutely great workshop with so many new things to learn! It was really cool to find out what API is and even more so to use it in order to build a functioning and practical application. I found coding quite rewarding because you get to see the progress you are making especially once you managed to detect and correct a faulty code. I cannot recommend enough learning to code just so to get a glimpse of how a part of the internet works.

I had some minor understanding of HTML from computer classes. SheCodes helped me gain an understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I really liked how the courses were set up with videos and assignments that corresponded with the new material being taught. It was fun but also challenging! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn how to get a better understanding of these coding programs.

The format of the course makes it really easy to manage and play out each lesson. Yet Matt doesn't always disclose everything you need to know, prompting you to think and learn to find solutions. This course is fun, creative and has opened a world of future possibilities.
SheCodes Basics lessons are beginner-friendly, few are challenging yet exciting, fun and has served as my creativity outlet. It is also flexible which goes well with my workhours. Moreover, I also like that there is a support system in the form of the Slack app. Definitely will recommend this!
Each lesson is pack of essential infos and the videos are very clear, straight forward, and easy to follow. Each week's project is fun, I really enjoyed each project and learned a lot from SheCodes.com workshops. I am looking forward to continue taking more workshops from Shecodes, This is much more fun and practical than most of my high school classes.

This workshop has proven to be extremely helpful and user friendly. I highly recommend this program to anybody who is brand new to coding as Matt's teaching method is the most coherent and comprehensive out there. He simplifies the material very effectively making learning both fun and engaging.

The Basic Workshop is worth EVERYONE trying! The price is fair and learning HTML, CSS, and JS can be helpful for anyone in any industry. The lessons are fun and interactive, and it's not as challenging as you may think. I had no issues staying on track while also working. It was well worth every penny and I can't wait to try more workshops!
Once again SheCodes has delivered an amazing journey. I have learned a ton and found Responsive to be an extremely fun system to learn.

SheCodes Responsive is more relaxing than SheCodes Plus. Full of fun, colorful and little bit frustration. Responsive is not easy that much but enjoyable. After finishing SheCodes Responsive, anyone can be feel much more confident and trust own self. I think, these two things are very important to move on and for next step. Thank you SheCodes.🤗

Honestly, I expected myself not to be interested in this workshop, even though I signed myself up. Starting Week 1, I was hooked. I love completing the challenges and going step by step with suggested solutions. I had so much fun and helped me set my decision on my computer science major for school.

Above and beyond 🚀! This course exceeded, once again, all my expectations, the videos were clear and the help from the SheCodes team was fast and professional whenever I got stuck with my code. I didn't know anything about React before I began this course and I was very doubtful if this is something I could learn. Now, after building 2 functioning react apps, those doubts are gone 👋 I'm really going to miss my weekly SheCodes routine but that doesn't mean that coding ends here - now I'm fully capable to start applying my knowledge in my own projects! Huge thank you SheCodes 💜

The course was great and I was amazed at what I achieved in just a few weeks. I liked the combination of tutorials followed by challenges; being able to put the information to practical use was important to me because I learn best by doing. And best of all, I had fun doing it!
Not only did the videos help me learn how to build a basic website from scratch, but the fun weekly tasks kept me motivated to move forward each week !

I had a small amount of experience coding previously, but this course really showed me how much I enjoy it. It is almost an artform how one can create online spaces to look and function as it is created. I am looking forward to learning more!

I highly recommend this workshop for anyone who has interest to learn coding. I have attended the classroom workshop for SheCodes Basic back in 2019 (Lisbon) and before starting SheCodes Plus had doubts about it being online but enjoyed it as much as the classroom one. It was an (really!) intense 8 weeks, long nights, so much to learn, apply and submit but at the same time had great fun and enjoyed it a lot. This was a great course. It helped me get a better understanding of JavaScript fundamentals that I previously knew but wasn't confident on how to apply them to project.
This workshop has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in coding with well structured tutorials and practical challenges. The final project of building a basic weather widget from scratch was the result of combining advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript and different coding tools in a challenging but fun way.
SheCodes Basic provides an easy and fun access to coding, I liked the challenges because they really helped me learning and it is a nice feeling when you can make things work. A big plus is the flexibility, that SheCodes provides, so you can learn and practise any time you want.
I really enjoyed this journey and the progress I've done from the beginning. Build the apps using React was fun and enlighten. Thanks Matt for your videos, I found them very easy to follow and sometimes even funny. Hearing from you that coding is not rocket science made me really believe it!!
Incredible beginner-friendly course with a great teacher. Matt explains things clearly and teaches you how to think not just what to do. I have learned a ton, had a lot of fun, and increased my web development abilities and confidence. I created my own Weather App! I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to start their journey toward web development.
Learning with SheCodes is fun! The videos and challenges are well tailored, perfectly divided into manageable bits and the course material is so nicely structured, clear and straightforward. I simply loved progressing further in the lessons building towards the final project. Matt is very good in explaining the topics and the team helping via Slack is doing a fantastic job answering any additional questions. It's so nice to move forward with the learning material at the own pace while still feeling perfectly guided. It was a real joy to learn about APIs, Netlify, Git and so much more in this course.
I had a lot of fun, and feeling very accomplished now that I am submitting my final project. The workshop is structured and taught so well. Once it starts making sense, it is really hard to stop. Looking forward to the next lessons.

Eventough the workshop is fully online, the homework deadlines really help you stay on track. And when facing any problem there is lots of fast support from everyone on Slack (and also Dr. Google 😂). This course is great to learn more about JavaScript and more advanced HTML and CSS. It had a fun project to make your own weather application (working with real data!). I would recommend this course!

Responsive was my third workshop with SheCodes and was a perfect follow-up to SheCodes Plus. The final project was a lot of fun to work on and will be very useful in the future. Now onto the React workshop!
