Finally did it! Great way of learning how to code as a beginner. Great lecture videos with good exercises. I'm impressed how much I've learned in a short time period. Good support from the library with input other fellow students and the SheCodes support team in the background. It was not an easy start, but it's manageable and most important of all: It's fun. Itβs been a lot of fun discovering HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Fun, and sometimes frustrating. Learning things that are completely new is hard, but also very rewarding. I find the classes and challenges to be thoughtfully structured in terms of progression. I am happy and thankful to be learning and developing new skills, and on a new path towards developing.

This was such a great course and for me was well timed finding SheCodes as I am currently in recovery from an injury and I needed to do something to keep my mind active. I honestly never thought I could finish any coding course because they always seemed impossible to follow, but SheCodes Basics was surprisingly really easy to follow. Matt provided a fun and very well structured lessons and the challenges were well designed and fundamental to reinforce the learnings of each lesson. So glad I decided to bite the bullet and give this a go and I'll be doing an add-on course next. Thank you Matt and all the team at SheCodes!

I had so much fun! It was so awesome to be be able to learn at my own pace, and the option to ask for an extension when i needed one was so helpful. The learning material was easy to understand, and slack helped me feel like i wasn't alone throughout. i really enjoyed myself.
