Glad to have completed the SheCodes Responsive Workshop, which gave me a solid foundation in creating websites that look great on any device. Although this add-on workshop is slightly more complex than the basic one, I can perform all coding functions with Matt's help.

Great course with easy-to-follow instructions. The exercises assure that you can translate the topics into action. Having on-demand modules allows to learn according to your own schedule. It's a fun way to learn how to code! Highly recommend!

I had fun with this project, for a moment I was like how will AI know how to follow all these instructions, but then I understood everything as I continued with the lessons. Now, I can build my own AI projects.

Coding literally made easy & fun!
Learning React and building a weather application was a long and complex process that required significant effort and support. The course was well-structured, providing clear explanations of React fundamentals while introducing practical skills that still demand ongoing practice and learning. The hands-on approach of creating a real-world project and applying my basic coding knowledge helped me solidify my understanding and gain confidence in my abilities. By the end of the course, I successfully submitted a weather app that reflects my learning, though I continue to refine it by adding responsive design and accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. I am very pleased with Matt and his team for supporting me in this new pathway!

Another enjoyable workshop from SheCodes! React seems simple and complicated/advanced all at once. I found learning React to be fun and really liked putting together the final project. Hi everyone! I have finished the Basics course offered by SheCodes and it`s been a blast! I went from not knowing anything about coding and thinking it`s extremely difficult to get into it or learn it or that you need to be some sort of math prodigy, to having a complete new perspective. It turns out coding is really fun, extremely logical (so anyone can come to understand it!) and super interesting. And all that is thanks to SheCodes. The lessons are structured really well, organised in small lessons so you can learn everything step by step and it doesn`t feel overwhelming, and I love the fact that every lesson is followed by a mini-challenge in which usually you have an extra step derived from the lesson where you try to figure out the solution yourself. So you have all the support you need but you are also incouraged to go beyond what you learned and apply yourself. And of course there is help provided should you not be able to do it by yourself. It`s a really cool course! I`m glad I tried it and I would recommend it for sure!

I was really impressed with the tutorials and the way Matt breaks down each lesson. Improving skills while having fun is an effective way to learn. Using the SheCodes AI API to create projects like poems and jokes is a prime example of how entertainment and technology can merge to create an engaging educational experience. It's astonishing what can be achieved today with the advancements in AI, turning simple coding exercises into creative outputs.

It was a very challenging activity, but I listened and managed my way to let the code run. This is fun, and it has challenged me mentally.
I enjoyed going through the JavaScript section a lot! I gave this course 4* because I wish we had gone more in depth in JavaScript basics, before building the whole project. While Matt is a great teacher I do think the videos could have more explanations on why something is being done :) All in all, a great course to get you acquainted with the development flow and getting to build a whole project with the last weeks is very fun :)
So far the workshops have been fun and easy to follow, I can find it hard to stay focused on a task but the weekly lessons break everything down into manageable pieces that act as great building blocks for the final project.
This project was such a blast to work on for my portfolio! I learned so much, including how to properly craft prompts for AI, work with AI APIs, style CSS directly in JavaScript, and even explore new JS plugins. A big focus of this project was user experienceβmaking sure the design was intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable for anyone who interacted with it. The highlight of the experience was building our own AI generator using the SheCodes AI API. What made it special was the creative freedom to design and define what we wanted our AI to generate. For me, the choice was easyβcombining my love for the universe and poetry. I created a Cosmic AI Generator that writes 4-line poems about the cosmos, inspired by any word you provide. Itβs a fun, celestial way to explore creativity through AI while keeping the user experience simple and seamless. A huge thanks to SheCodes for this incredible project and to Matt for the clear, step-by-step lessons that made it all possible.

I loved learning the more advanced options like implementing dark mode! This course was a partial refresh for me since I learned years ago but haven't practiced and it has been a lot of fun to create something new with techniques that I haven't tried before.

Well structured course, easily digestible and fun!
I liked it very much! I learned a lot of advance functions in JS. The only but is that is needed a little bit of going more into the logic because is hard to get into the track.
