I have been finding my feet with my career and starting the SheCodes journey has made me feel confident with my career path. It is so much fun seeing my coding work become a design on a website. I am grateful to SheCodes and Delac Foundation, and I cannot wait to see how much more I can learn.

A fantastic course! This course has a good variety of lessons that expanded my knowledge in the Python language. It was very challenging, but really fun! This course has given me confidence and has built a solid foundation for me to continue to code using Python :)

I first began my coding journey in 2023 and didn't finish this workshop until 2026 ha! But getting back into it has made me realize that I missed doing this for fun as well as to pursue another career. Looking forward to the other workshops since I'm in the bootcamp!

Great React add-on course! Who knew creating a dictionary app could be so much fun? It was a practical and engaging way to deepen my understanding of APIs, components, and state management.

That was fun. Python is a great programming language and working with AI is really exciting!

I am so happy to be graduating from SheCodes Plus today! A huge thank you to the entire SheCodes team for the incredible knowledge and support over the last 8 weeks. I’ve learned so much, from advanced CSS to complex JavaScript, and I’ve loved every moment of building my weather application. I'm having so much fun learning all the new functions. The class was really easy but so enriching.

It’s amazing how much I’ve learned in just three weeks. The lessons demystify coding and make it feel approachable, even for a complete beginner. I’m so glad I decided to start my programming journey, it’s never too late! Matt structures the course in a way that builds on the skills and knowledge you already have, allowing you to combine everything and create your own project by the end. Of course, it can be challenging at times, but that’s all part of learning something new. Over the past three weeks, I’ve had so much fun exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. There’s still so much more to learn, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next. Overall, these three weeks have been an incredible experience, and I’ve gained so much knowledge.

The lessons are clear, practical, and incredibly well-structured, making it easy to build confidence step by step. What I loved most is how hands-on the projects are you don’t just watch, you actually create. It turns learning into real progress you can see on your screen. fun and easy to follow workshop

The workshop made learning to code in python fun. It was challenging and requested some research, but it enhanced the learning.

This workshop has been an incredible journey. I learned how to build a functional World Clock application from scratch, mastering JavaScript logic, Moment.js, and complex timezone management. The hands-on projects allowed me to turn theory into a professional-looking tool. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bridge the gap between basic HTML and real-world web development!

This course was awesome! Loved it!! Everything was structured, clear and easy to follow, and the support added that extra touch. It was really great learning experience. The challenges were fun, and the support was always there when needed. Loved taking it and would totally recommend it to anyone starting out in tech!

Fun experience

Python Advanced Workshop gave me a deeper understanding of Python. The excercises were challenging yet very fun to do and rewarding. I feel a lot more confident using Python now.

This course was challenging, yet fun. I loved using all the tools I have learnt to create a website. What I enjoyed the most was creating the multiple pages, making it responsive, SEO, and much more. I really enjoyed this workshop, and I feel like I am already an experienced Front-end Engineer 😂

I had fun learning about AI. The course was informative.

This was such a fun project to work on. And honestly I feel it was especially fun and easy because of the introduction to coding I had with the SheCodes Basic (Introduction to Coding) foundation.

It was really fun, going through this course module. The topic was easy to grasp with clear examples.

I was hoping for the best and expecting the worst, especially having no tech background. To my surprise it was all so easy to grasp, Matt has a way of simplifying even the most complex topics. I had so much fun. I can not wait for the next workshop.

Fun online course, and you learn a lot. Matt is a good teacher, and it is easy to get help when you get stuck.

React is definitely challenging. Understanding components, state management, hooks, and how everything connects requires time and patience. React also brought everything together from what I learned previously and showed me how to build fully functional, dynamic applications.

I never knew that coding can be this fun. I am enjoying it so much. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for this opportunity.

A fun way to learn how to play with date and time!

This workshop made coding feel approachable and even fun. I loved how everything was explained step by step, and I actually feel confident building projects on my own now.

Really enjoyed this session, it was difficult with the various time zones but was really fun.

I have some previous experience coding with AI. This was a fun exercise.

I hadn’t coded in 2–3 years because life got busy, and I honestly wasn’t sure if I could get back into it. Restarting with SheCodes was the best decision I could have made. I began by revisiting the basics, completed the add-ons, and now I’m back in the Plus workshop — picking up where I left off at 65%. What’s incredible is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. Matt Delac explains concepts so clearly and in such a structured way that it truly feels like I never left coding. One of the coolest parts has been the add-ons. Learning how to recreate features you see on big websites — and actually building them myself — has been such an empowering experience. Implementing things like theme-changing elements, adding grids, and making projects feel more dynamic and professional has been really exciting. I’m genuinely grateful for the knowledge and confidence I’ve gained. SheCodes made coming back to coding feel possible, practical, and fun again.

I recently completed the SheCodes React class and it has been an incredibly valuable learning experience. The course structure is clear, supportive, and beginner-friendly, making complex React concepts easy to understand. The lessons build logically from fundamentals to practical real-world applications, such as building reusable components, managing state, and working with APIs. Throughout the class, I gained confidence in writing cleaner, more efficient React code, and I was able to apply what I learned directly to projects like a 5-day weather forecast app. The hands-on exercises and real coding tasks helped solidify my understanding, and the community support was always encouraging and helpful. Overall, SheCodes React boosted my technical skills and made learning React enjoyable. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to grow as a frontend developer

The Basics Add-on workshops and project were very fun to do.

The SheCodes Plus Add-On course made complex concepts like timezones and interactive UI effortless and fun to build.

SheCodes has been an incredibly empowering experience for me. It created a supportive and motivating environment where I could learn coding step by step without feeling overwhelmed. The lessons are structured clearly, making even complex concepts feel simple and achievable. What I love most is how practical the learning approach is — instead of just theory, I actually built projects and applied what I learned. That boosted my confidence a lot. The community is also very encouraging, especially for women stepping into tech. SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and more exciting. It strengthened my fundamentals and inspired me to keep improving every day. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity to grow both technically and personally.

This class was a lot of fun in that there was opportunity to try different colors, grid styles and transformations. After this workshop, I now see how some websites function. I will never look at a website or even the details/designs on my iphone the same.

Participating in this SheCodes workshop was an exciting and rewarding experience. Taking this course was a great experience. Python, which I thought would be complicated, suddenly made sense. The course is fun, interactive, and very beginner friendly, giving me a solid foundation to continue learning and building with Python.

SheCodes Plus AI was the perfect challenge to level up my skills. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into a real-world application. It was an interesting and fun process to go from a blank screen to a functional prompt generator that reflects my own style and aesthetic.

I absolutely loved using the skills I learned in Python Basics to create a more interactive project in Python AI! One of the difficulties I had with Python Basics was that I always wanted to go a bit further with the code, and that's exactly what the Python AI course allowed me to do. As with all the other SheCodes courses I've taken, lessons were succinct and engaging, and the challenges were fun to complete. One of my favourite aspects of the course is how customisable the final project is, thanks to how you can personalise your prompts.

I enjoyed learning html, css and javascript. As math teacher, I expected to progress through the course a lot quicker. Even so, the class was fun. I'm looking forward to taking the Basics Add-on and javascript course.

Finishing the SheCodes Basics Add-On was a great experience! The extra lessons complemented the original Basics course perfectly, and the exercises were clear, engaging, and thoughtfully designed. Fun courses - but they still feel a bit too light on the material.

It's a great course. Feel free to join if you want to brush up your CV with a current coding class, it is so much fun and the real examples make the tasks enjoyable.

A really great beginner course that’s perfect for getting started with the basics of coding! The topics are broken down into easy-to-follow sections, and the challenges are fantastic for really reinforcing what you learn. The final project is fun and an engaging way to bring everything together and put your new skills into practice.

This add on was fun and I enjoyed implementing AI API's, it's amazing what we can build using this.

This one was challenging, and it's easy to get disheartened when your code does not work but with patience, resilience, and consistency, I was able to finally complete the workshop. Although I had moments of great frustration, this workshop was very fun and fulfilling.

Working on this dictionary app has been such a rewarding experience! It’s super cool to bring together multiple APIs — from dictionary definitions and phonetics audio to fetching beautiful images from Pexels — all in one smooth, interactive React app. I loved learning how to handle async data fetching, manage state with hooks, and build reusable components that really work together seamlessly. Plus, integrating audio playback with a little speaker icon was fun! This project gave me solid, hands-on experience with real-world API integration and React best practices. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to level up their frontend skills in a practical, engaging way.

Another fun project building a world clock step by step.

This workshop is great. It is challenging but fun, at the same time. I learned a lot about CSS, HTML and Javascript. I really liked learning about Javascript. I plan to take more SheCodes workshops.

I wanted to make a slightly whimsical weather app, with a CSS design in shades of purple. I also used some animations of sun and moon emoticons to add visual interest. This SheCodes module has been great for better understanding and using JavaScript, especially functions. My favourite part was customising the app with my own style.

I loved this project. We have family all over the world, so it was fun to do this project and show it to my children, who could appreciate the meaning of the different time zones and how it linked to different members of our family. I recall Matt saying that at some point things will start to 'click' and this was the project where I really felt this.
