A great workshop! Moving on toward a career in coding, this workshop introduces new elements to coding that are absolutely needed for bigger projects such as the final project. There was more focus on the final project which I think was good, as the number of new things was still less than in previous workshops. The final project was, as usual, the most fun part.

This Responsive Add-On was a fun challenge. Learning more on how visually a website should look like with different add-ons.
Matt puts everything we've learned from SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus, and SheCodes Responsive into two big React projects. It was challenging but also really fun to see my code come to life. If there is one thing I have taken away from this second project, it's that the best thing to do when one gets frustrated, is to step away for a few moments, relax or do something else, and when you return the answer often times just comes to you.

This has to be one of the most well done courses I have done. It's been so well thought out, it was so much fun to do. Would highly recommend trying it out especially if you have very little to no understanding of coding.
SheCodes React was very challenging as it was something new to learn but always fun at the same time!
I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course. Initially, I was nervous I would not be able to grasp much of the content, considering I have no experience in coding. However, I surprised myself with how much I was actually able to understand and be able to implement that into the final project. As well as being very informative, it was FUN!
I could never imagine finishing a whole series of coding courses altogether. I never could get past HTML and CSS but there is something about Matt and SheCodes that makes you HOOKED. coding gets fun with the weekly and daily challenges provided in each section and the way he tackles issues and bugs like a normal human and we can all see that everyone makes mistakes during this path. I can not stress enough how much this course has been beneficial to me since I started it and it has been a year since I started SheCodes Basic. This full-year of overcoming bugs and issues not only helped me through my career but also helped me grow personally. I have loved the SheCodes Basic's course. Matt's instructions are clear & helpful & i'm so proud of the page ive managed to create with 3 weeks tuition. I found Javascript very tricky as a complete beginner, but HTML and CSS brought back memories of coding for fun on my MySpace profile about 20 years ago. This course has helped my feel accomplished and proactive as i decide whether to pursue a change in career.
I highly recommend SheCodes as a programming school. The challenges in every lesson are one of my favorite parts as it enables me to practice what I just learned. Matt's way of teaching is excellent, exceeding my expectations. I had so much fun and a lot of aha moments while learning. I would say that this course made me fall in love with programming all over again!

Another successful instalment of the SheCodes workshops! Did not realize I'd derive this much enjoyment in adapting my code for mobile applications. The lessons were well-explained and parsed, as always, and the final project was a particularly fun and creative one.

I really enjoyed this course which is a continuation of learning how to use functions when creating a web-site using react. The instructions are clear and but also challenging so that you can learn as much as possible whilst working through them.
This entire workshop was so fun and interactive. I learned so much about coding and was always interested in learning more. Concepts were made easy to understand and I am so grateful for SheCodes and being able to take this workshop!

This course is definitely less information-dense than SheCodes Plus and, since you don't use JS to make a website responsive, much easier to understand! I also think the way Matt explains how to use Bootstrap in this course is much clearer than in SCP and you learn fundamental skills to make your website look great on all devices :) I personally still struggle a bit when Matt becomes messy and confusing but he's also really funny and engaging - never boring!

Over the past decade or so, I have served as the head of various departments of technical engineers and developers. During this time, my daily routine has transitioned from hands-on engineering towards managing, strategising, and coordinating projects. Though I've made a few attempts at coding, the knowledge I've acquired has largely been left to gather dust in the back of my mind. Nonetheless, I've always harboured a desire to play a more hands-on role. With this in mind I decided to to reignite my passion and embarked on my SheCodes journey, starting with the Basics course. It's been nothing short of a revelation. This course has helped me reconnect with my natural coding ability, offering an enjoyable and exciting way back into the world of coding. The material was engaging and the videos are knowledgeable and approachable. The fact that I could study at my own pace, fitting the course around my schedule, was an added bonus. It was a joy to return to the nuts and bolts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after such a long hiatus. What I particularly appreciated was the process of re-engaging with problem-solving, the kind of critical thinking required to build something from the ground up. The course reminded me of how much I enjoy the creativity involved in coding, the challenge of making something functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's been a pleasure to have that part of my brain engaged again, and to feel my passion for coding rekindled. Looking ahead, I am particularly excited about starting the SheCodes Max course. I feel it is the perfect next step to dive deeper into coding and explore its many facets that blend creativity and engineering. So, to anyone considering a coding course, I would say go for it. Shecodes is the best institution, teaching in a slow pace, very beginner friendly. I learned how to build and launch a fully functioning website in 8 weeks.

I found the SheCodes Plus workshops challenging but fun. I learnt a lot, and really expanded the skills gained in the Basics programme. The early weeks go over what was previously learnt and I found that a useful way of consolidating my learning, and building my skills. I was really pleased with the project I was able to create in such a short space of time. For absolute beginners, like myself, this is a perfect combination of hand-holding (via the informative videos) and encouraging you to find solutions. A really interesting and informative course.

Honestly, I didn't imagine myself in tech a lot, but SheCodes gave me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I'm sincerely grateful for. I was worried if I'd do well or if it wouldn't be my place at all. However, Instructor Matt with his step-by-step patient instructions helped me out. It wasn't a walk in the park always but seeing my code work got me smiling big! Sometimes I don't have fun in the challenges like he said I would but I'm always happy when everything is going as I want. Nothing beats the feeling!
