The SheCodes Plus Add-On has been a fun activity over the past two weeks, tying in what I learned in the Plus course, plus some extra snazzy features.

During this eight-weeks long workshop, my enthusiasm in coding is getting deeper along with the weekly challenges. I coded at my work, in my bed and keep coding in mind while I was riding my bike to my house 🤣. My favorite part of this workshop is operating functions in js_I could not apply multiple function in the previous workshop but now I can see how far it can get.This workshop's brought a lot of fun, meanwhile I could feel the growth happening inside me. I has been sharing my experiences of learning with SheCodes to my friends and has encourage them to try coding (cause it is awesome!).

I loved this program! It was both super fun to complete as well as structured and informative. Matt did it again! Not only was it fun but I don't think. I have learned as much with any other program I've taken as I have with SheCodes! Not going to lie... it was challenging, sometimes I had to put my code to rest and go for a run but once I came back my passion for coding was there! I have built a website that I will make sure I work on until I make it what I want it to be. I would say if you really want to learn how to code.. . SheCodes is the way to start.

I am so happy I enroled in the SheCodes Max Workshop. Out of curiosity joining the Basic Workshop on a rainy day after work, I could never imagine me creating React Apps, handling API's or grasp all these function and make them work :) I really wanna thank Matt and the SheCodes Team, who always helped when I was struggeling and helped me get back on track. I can now create and host websites and Apps!

This course brought my confidence with coding to the next level! I enjoyed learning how to make a multipage website responsive and have a beautiful portfolio to move forward in my career with. The course helped me grow my skills in a fun and challenging way.
I have some issues focusing so this workshop might not be the best for me as Matt tends to make "mistakes" and change his mind quite often and since the videos are not edited (or not much), it can sometimes get really confusing and frustrating. It's good to see that even an experienced coder like Matt has to think and sometimes just do different things before getting it right, but when he summarizes everything, he can be quite messy using the wrong terms, when it's already a really complex and confusing matter. Apart from that, I still like how Matt is funny and engaging, how he guides you to complete the final project, the course is packed with info and the project is quite fun.
I just completed the SheCodes Basics course, and I loved it! I was always too scared to try to learn to code, I thought I did not have enough time nor the right skills but thanks to this course I learned quickly while having fun and playing with my creativity. The lessons and challenges are well structured and I completed this course despite having a busy schedule. The SheCodes team on Slack supported me when I felt stuck on a challenge, but honestly, the video lessons are so well done that I managed to solve my problems by following Matt's suggestions most of the time. Overall, I liked very much this course and I'm even more excited to continue my coding journey!

This was a fun course. It was not too easy and quite challenging at times, but as it was possible to find a solution after some intense time of brain-squeezing, there was always a big, rewarding feeling of achievement waiting at the end. 👍🏼

I loved doing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! Within 3 weeks, I learned the fundamental basics of coding to gain a better understanding of this essential work field. I'm sure it'll help me in my current and future jobs! Although it was challenging at times, I had lots of fun doing the final project and to use my new skills to create my own little website ☺️

I work as a media designer and therefore deal with websites on a daily basis. I usually use Wordpress and various themes and builders for this. But many themes quickly reach their limits. That's why I really wanted to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The SheCodes Basics course gives a great overview of the basic functions. I especially like the fact that you can put the things you just learned into practice in many small challenges and in the weekly assignments.

Another great workshop where I learned so much added to my CV! When I thought there isn't much about HTML and CSS, Matt proved me wrong! I loved learning about them both because I love styling and making a page more visually pleasing and interesting! I have to admit the transform property in CSS can quickly go wrong if you can't stop using it like I do, but this workshop proved me again how fun coding is and how excited I am to learn even more in the workshops!

Code has always been a mystery to me, a language that I had no idea how to read, let alone understand. This basic course has given me an insight into the world of coding and while obviously there is still a lot to be learnt, I am no longer utterly confused by all these lines of code that make up a website. The step by step approach of SheCodes makes it possible to follow easily and writing code is not only possible but fun. I loved building my first own website and playing with fonts, colours and functions. Thanks for opening the door to coding for me!

My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜.
I had a great time learning with SheCodes. Every video is easy to understand and the challenges are fun, stimulating and great to apply everything you've learned and a little bit more. Matt is a great instructor and when a problem comes up everyone on the SheCodes team is super fast to help (Kim helped me and the answer was super sweet and helpful) I 100% reccomend SheCodes!

SheCodes Plus is another challenging and rewarding course from Matt and the team. This course builds on the basic HTML, CSS and Javascript skills developed in SheCodes Basics and applies them to a real-world, practical project in developing a functional weather app using an API. The course content is fantastic, broken down into manageable sections that are easy to follow. The support of the SheCodes community is a valuable part of the learning process. The final project was so fun to work on and I found SheCodes Plus incredibly rewarding and satisfying, and can't wait to get started on the next SheCodes course!
SheCodes gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and embrace a completely new field. I'm sure that my military background has contributed somewhat to my ability to undertake this change with flexibility and perseverance but SheCodes makes it possible and fun. I'm looking forward to working alongside the other students out in the workforce someday.
It was quite a fun and challenging experience, I was able to understand each lesson perfectly and in my own time. I was surprised how quickly I was able to advance and become familiar with programming, something that I thought was far away but now I am more confident about it.
The Responsive Add-on was very fun- creating a travel webpage full of recommended sites and excursions and a photo gallery. I can't wait to add more travel pages to my website portfolio!

If not for SheCodes workshop I don't think I would have ever made a portfolio page. Making the website mobile friendly was a fun challenge I never thought it would be that important to make sure it doesn't look weird on mobile devices.

Finished another step into my coding journey! SheCodes Responsive has helped me deepen my knowledge into coding and sharpen my skills thru challenges given each lesson and by building a real-life project-my very own portfolio showcasing my project to potential employers. Like SheCodes Basics and Plus, I received all the necessary tools, updated materials and software, together with their live technical support in case I’m feeling stuck and needed help with the assignments. Importantly, I can take the lessons at my own pace, it can be easily accessed any time and it’s not a problem if I needed more time to finish the course; I can ask for extension to so that I can get back to it any time I’m ready. I find it quite rewarding that I was able to solve each problem by myself, getting back to Matt’s bite-size lessons which are all very clear. He delivers topics such as advanced Bootstrap (Navigation, Utility Classes, etc.), Flexbox, Multiple Page Hosting, Media Queries, and more in such a way that it is transparent, fun to learn and easy to understand. He’s an amazing instructor with an equally amazing team. Thank you SheCodes!
Great value for money, you learn the basics in a very dynamic and fun way - would highly recommend!
SheCodes PLUS is definitely a step-up from Basics. I really enjoyed creating the weather app and learning the complexity of functions, api integrations, and HTML structure. I was able to follow-along to Matt's teaching, and I used Slack to ask any questions I may of had. The Athena AI was useful too, that was a nice feature.
