I loved SheCodes! I love how you immediately learn to incorporate HTML, CSS and JavaScript together rather than learning everything separately and retroactively combining them. The instructor is clear and gives you lots of useful insights that you wouldn't have gotten if you were to go at it on your own. The challenges keep you in practice, and I never had this much fun coding, first time I feel really confident about it. I tried getting into it before and this time it really stuck I think!

SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge but in the best way possible! The skill set I gained from this goes beyond anything I imagined. Being able to build an entire app by myself after following all the lessons is a massive confidence boost, not forgetting to mention the fun I've had! This workshop takes you from a coding beginner to a coding pro in so little time! I loved Matt's way of explaining and always making me feel like I could do anything if I take it step by step! Not only I've learned so much, but this workshop has changed my mindset and how I look at problems!

She codes introduction to coding has really been a life changing experience, what started as just a random idea has become my daily life. Learning to code has becoming so exciting, creative, but most importantly fun. From learning CSS to JAVA-SCRIPT, never a dull moment always trying to figure out new things and learn new techniques. This course has shown me a creative way to solving problems, and even allowed me to build my own project putting my creativity to the test. This is only the beginning to GREATNESS.
SheCodes Basic was the best way for me to begin my journey into tech. The lessons were easy to follow and the challenges created a space for us to test out our new skills. Though this course only covered the basics (hahaha) I feel confident in the skills that I have learned. HTML, CSS and Javascript was the perfect place to start; watching elements, styles and functions come together to build pages was so exciting. From the outside, getting into tech can seem impossible, but the Basics course takes away all intimidation and makes "baby steps" fun, creative and motivating!
Such a great course for complete newbies like me just wanting to explore the world of coding. The course is broken into manageable chunks, easy to follow and the homework/project's really are fun to complete!

For a while I have been thinking about starting to code, and this was the best choice I could have possibly made. It was so much fun, and coding finally became manageable. Every lesson was short and not overwhelming, because of Matt's great explanations.
I just wrapped up the React Add-On project—a dictionary app. It was a fun and practical experience. I recommend the course to get some React skills.

I had the pleasure of attending and finishing the React coding workshop recently, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. The workshop was designed specifically for women who had little to no coding experience, and I found it to be both informative and enjoyable. Throughout the workshop, the instructor presented the concepts in a clear and concise manner, making it easy for me to understand. The exercises were well thought out and challenging enough to keep me engaged and excited to learn more. I especially appreciated the opportunity to work on real-life examples that allowed me to apply the concepts I learned. Beyond the technical aspects of the workshop, the overall atmosphere was friendly and supportive. The instructor and other participants were welcoming and encouraging, creating a comfortable environment where I felt safe to ask questions and share my experiences. I also appreciated the opportunity to connect with other women who were in a similar position as me, learning to code for the first time. Overall, I learned a lot during the workshop and had fun while doing it. I would highly recommend this workshop to any woman who has never coded before and is looking for a supportive and informative environment to learn React.
This was tough at times but really good fun and addictive. Getting my code in GitHub and hosting something online is great because it helps build up my portfolio for my CV!

I recently used the React Weather App and was really impressed with its functionality and design. It was very easy to use and navigate, and the visuals are really professional-looking. The app was able to provide me with accurate and up-to-date weather information, and I was also able to customize it to my needs. Very very challenging but a lot of fun building this weather app. Although it´s not perfect, i have made huge progress with my ability of coding. I love it even more and can´t wait, to get more into this in the following workshops !

Really enjoyed the Basics course. Matt's videos are easy to understand and they're not too long. So, it's easy to suqeeze in some lessons after my normal work :) Working on the final project was great, seeing how finally everything came together and I created a whole page from scratch. It's pretty fun getting started with the SheCodes materials.
Another fun but challenging process to complete this project. Following Matt’s instruction step by step, which lead me to complete this project in two days instead of a week. More challenges to come.

It was a really fun time with SheCoding, could not notice like the Basic level is over. I become an investigator - curious digging into a site that I visit to find out how this work; and a searcher - googling for some other ways to create something on your own. The course is built sooooo well, so easy to understand, in no matter of time you start to notice the things that before were kind of mystery. The final project was not so hard to create like hard to choose which one to send (I made 3, but stop myself on this one)
Highly recommend this workshop, it's both challenging and fun.

Having challenges for almost every module/individual session was CRUCIAL for me grasping the concepts and applying my learning in real-time before attempting the homework. I never thought I would be able to learn to code. It always seemed so tedious of a task. However, I am glad that I took a chance on it because I have been able to learn so much! SheCodes is the most non-intimidating way to get started on coding. Lessons are bite sized, fun and interactive. Loved that there were many challenges along the way so you're not just sat there listening to lessons for hours on end like a lot of other courses out there. Whether you're experienced or not, SheCodes basics sets a great foundation to whatever you're working towards.
I really enjoyed working on this one-week challenge project about my favorite hobby. My goal was to practice using some new CSS properties, and learning how to change my page to Dark Theme using JavaScript functions. It was fun!
I learned so much about advanced Bootstrap, Flexbox, Media Queries, and multiple-page hosting. I got creative with my coding skills and built a unique online portfolio that I am proud of. But what really made the workshop special was the teacher, Matt. He was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, and passionate about what he was teaching. He provided clear explanations and examples that made it easy to understand complex concepts. Thanks to Matt, I not only learned a lot, but I also had fun doing it. Since joining SheCodes Basic, I feel like I have learned so much than I did going the traditional route in school! Matt made it easy to understand the concept that was being taught. SheCodes Basics was a great way to start learning Web Development! The lessons are thorough, easy to follow up and the homework and project really put together all the information we learned over the last weeks. Two of my favourite things about the last weeks: the way the course is designed still pushes you to research on your own, which I found challenging but rewarding. Also, the fact that the course allows for self management - you can choose the times that better suit you, there are deadlines but all the classes are recorded so people who work or have other responsibilities can manage to learn and build a new career for themselves. I acquired new skills to create a functional world clock without using an api. I could immediately see the potential for applying these skills to other coding projects in the future. Overall, the world clock lesson was a remarkable experience.

The add-on workshops were really helpful in understanding the functionality and implementations of basic animations on images ! The best part about SheCodes's course is that at the end, they give you the choice to create a website about what you're passionate about, which makes the projects more interesting and fun to do.

This week was amazing too! I really enjoyed learning about CSS background, CSS transform and CSS grids! The HTML class manipulation is the trickiest one amongst all the topics I've studied in the last few days, but once you understand all the steps you have to take, it becomes super fun! Even this time Matt was really good at explaining everything.
Just finished SheCodes Basics, and there wasn't a moment when I felt like I couldn't understand it. Homework was fun to make. Before enrolling this workshop, I was sure of my knowledge of HTML & CSS, but any line of JS would make my brain go blank! And during the workshop, I could relisten and reread information about JS that was hard to understand, and eventually I got all lessons! Can't wait to start my next workshop 🤗
I work in Real Estate and take care of our database software which is linked to our website. I started the SheCodes Basic class to learn to understand exactly that: the basics and how a website actually works. I was surprised how much fun coding is and I am really really happy that I decided to take the class.
