SheCodes is a a great way to learn how to code from scratch and you make amazing work in just a short amount of time! Before SheCodes, I didn't know a single thing about coding and was a little intimidated by it, but now I can confidentially build and work on my own projects. It is also helping me with career prospects and really helping me develop my analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a chance to showcase my creativity. Each lesson is tailored amazingly, especially the way Matt explains and breaks concepts down. Would highly recommend this to anyone. It's honestly so worth it and is so fun! :)

I really enjoyed my time learning the basics of web development. I've been very unsure whether I wanted to pursue a a career in tech and was looking to test the waters and I can't believe how Matt made this transition as smooth and digestible! Learning a new skill such as Tech can be very daunting but with these easy to follow lesson Matt helped make this journey fun! I never knew this part of coding (integration of API and Hosting) existed and could be done with ease until I took this course, I had a drill - I learnt a lot from this course. This was incredibly fun. I enjoyed learning many more responsive coding methods. In this workshop, I learned so many more advanced ways to code! I learned more HTML and CSS methods to create more responsive elements on a webpage on various devices. I had so much fun researching and figuring out how to bring ideas to life that I didn't even learn in the workshop.
I liked working on this project, besides the fact that I had the opportunity to show my passion, it was fun to juggle the photos to get the desired collage.
I entered the world of programmation by gaining some knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I used my knowledge of these languages, along with my new skills in VS Code, to begin to build a different pages. And now, I combined all of these skills to create a page fully-functioning. One of my favourite workshops that I've completed this far!! This project was definitely handy in cementing certain concepts like conditional rendering & looping through arrays. My confidence in using these concepts has grown greatly between the two React workshops. Practice is key so having two guided react projects was much appreciated! Overall, it was a FUN challenge!! 🤩

This is a really well structured, fun and thorough introduction into coding. It doesn't assume you have base knowledge like a lot of platforms, so is very accessible in that way. I feel more confident about learning more now, it would have been difficult to gain this kind of knowledge in a self directed way without feeling overwhelmed.
I highly recommend this web course for women who want to learn CSS and HTML basics! The course is designed specifically for learning the very fundamentals. I love love love shecodes. Its an awesome place to learn coding and believe me have tried several places. From udemy to codeacademy to youtube but none beats shecodes. Shecodes made learning code so easy and fun. Its quite funny but i sometimes dream about bugs on my line of code then wake up thinking how to solve the bug i have or how to complete an assignment. I recommend shecodes 1000% for any one who is interested in learning how to code. Thank you.

I had the most challenging yet fun time learning the basics of Front End with SheCodes. I'm impressed I actually got to finish the project which couldn't be real without the amazing SheCodes team assisting during the whole learning journey. Some of the parts were especially hard to understand, but Matt made sure each lesson has a detailed and step-by-step explanation. I will have a bit of rest and definitely jump to the next advanced chapter!
This workshop is amazing! Matt is a highly qualified teacher, every lesson is interesting and engaging, the assignments are fun and challenging. I've learnt so much and, even though programming does not coincide exactly with the field in which I'm working now, I know that the skills I've gained will come in real handy. I think if you're an absolute begginer -that was me- at coding this workshop is perfect for you to take off and lose your fear. I've found the course super fun, interesting and well explained. Loved the challenges, the homework and the final project, I think it's a very effective way of learning.

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

I cannot believe that I finished my SheCodes Workshops completely, I am over the moon that I have this skill, and looking forward to upcoming projects and challenges. The Responsive workshop was the icing on the top of all the SheCodes workshops. I learned how to optimize my webpages to become easier to view on various viewports and incorporate SEO friendly metrics. It was really fun putting all my past projects together into my personal portfolio. I can't wait to start the #React workshop and add to my portfolio.

Honestly this was a really fun course! It was easy to understand and do and now i have genuine interest in coding and what i could possibly do with it.
Learning the basics of coding has been as intense as challenging but at the same time really enjoyable and in a way, easy. The videos are really efficient and Matthieu's explainations cannot be clearer. I could not complete the week 1 homework and challenges in due time but it was easy to request an extension, and the team was very understanding. I found the course very flexible, fun and interesting. I feel like I really understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript work, and feel more confident for the future. I was starting a UX design course at the same time, and was hoping to learn about the basics of coding since employers often like potential UX designers to be able to communicate and understand developers. I feel so much more confident now with the basic but yet thorought and solid knowledge SheCodes gave me!
Creating this hobby project was quite fun and has helped me feel more confident in my coding skills! This mini-course taught a few more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills. Learning how to create a CSS grid, animations, and a dark theme toggle was especially useful and exciting.

The teacher explain the code simply so anyone can understand easily. Over this 3 weeks, It was exciting and fun to code.
While the challenges were difficult at times, they were also a lot of fun. I was able to get extensions on my project, which was a big help. This allowed me to work at my own pace. I was able to complete the workshop in my own time and felt truly amazing by the end.
