Another fun challenge and new project for portfolio.
SheCodes Basics Add-On was a fun way to review some of the basic concepts I learned when I started SheCodes last summer, plus some cool new concepts! This workshop showed me just how much I have learned thus far and it makes me feel proud of my accomplishments (from Basics to React). Great addition and would highly recommend anyone who feels unsure about continuing their coding journey after the Basics program.
This add-on was a fun challenge to practice skills learned in a new way.
Oh my goodness! I had so much fun and learnt so much. the lessons are not overwhelming at all, Matt explains every line of code. I watched soo many tutorials on web development and this is by far the best one! got to appreciate what Matt do hey. I love it and I am out of words, I am just soo happy with this workshop, happy!
I had a lot of fun on this course - it's been a great way to build my confidence with CSS flexbox and Bootstrap. I'm looking forward to being able to showcase more of my work in my portfolio soon!
Really liked the overall layout of the program and the fact that it allows you to go at your speed!! This was the perfect course for me too as I wanted to learn for fun and the price for this one was more budget-friendly than the rest. I would highly recommend this!!
hello everyone. so, i managed to cross the finish line of this fascinating and valuabe adventure. i really had fun everyday, because the course is comfortably divided into small sections, which kept me from being overwhelmed and tired of lessons. SheCodes Foundation gave me not only knowledge, but the precious insight that I really could succeed in IT sphere. I was happy to be part of the big family and join the program. i will continue my way*a big hug*

I had so much fun with this workshop. I was first curious and after taking the free coding workshop I knew I wanted to learn more. Coding has become a fun and creative way to create pages about things I like, while also learning skills to benefit my career growth. Thank you Matt for the easily understandable lessons and fun exercises. I have now enrolled in SheCodes Max to maximize my coding learning from SheCodes. If you're thinking about it, definitely take the plunge and sign up for the Basics workshop to see if coding is for you!

I have particularly enjoyed this course because it's definitely boosted my confidence when it comes to JS functions. I do admit React can be quite counterintuitive at times but Matt has done an excellent job at explaining the process step-by-step. I am so very grateful to SheCodes for everything I have learned, I can't wait to learn more about React as it's definitely the field I would like to steer my career towards.
SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
That was a great course. I was really happy to gain new knowledge and to improve skills I have already gained during the first course.I highly recommend to take this course and study with a fun. You definitely won't regret it.
I had super fun with the course! The videos are short and explain the material in just the right depth. The course is structured in such a way that you can manage your time very well without getting into a time crunch. The website is clearly laid out and fun to work with.

This is the second project since I've been introduced to coding one week ago. I already can see a lot of improvements in my website building skills, especially with richer manipulation of CSS and how to make the website fun to interact with.

It was interesting and fun to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Lessons are understandable, nicely explained and they make you look for some answers by yourself, which is very rewarding. I am looking forward to continue learning with SheCodes.

I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.

Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background. I strongly recommend this coding course to every single females in every single country around the world!!!
Cool project! I wanted to create one function for all default cities, so I've been struggling a little. But, it was worth it, because I'm even more proud of myself right now 🙈😎. I also added a button to change a clock into dark theme ❤️. I had super fun, as always 🥰.

I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the SheCodes Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.
The React Workshop is definitely testing my coding skills. It's fun learning these different coding languages! Looking forward to keep practising React with the next workshop.

Now that I have finished SheCodes Plus, I can definitely say that it as a bit challenging, but it was all fun to learn and I love that i know have a new skill set. Im very excited to advance to the next part of the program.

Not only did I learn a lot about how to make sure the websites I'm building are also responsive & easy to be viewed on smaller pages (like from a phone), but at the end, I even came out with a beautiful portfolio that I now cannot wait to expand with even more projects! Super challenging, but super fun!
For someone with 0 coding background, SheCodes Basics taught me how to build a website from scratch using HTML, CSS and Javascript! The videos are easy to follow as well, Matt explained very well a lot of fundamental theories and why certain steps need to be followed. I can understand the instructions 99% of the time. I look forward to continuing further with coding, especially web development.
This workshop was phenomenal! I enjoyed the cognitive and creative outputs that come with coding. I'm looking forward to continuing my education with SheCodes. I had a lot of fun expressing my values and new coding skills through the final project. 👩💻

The PLUS workshop is a full package for someone like me who enjoys learning to code but is scared of actually developing a functional front-end of a website. SheCodes Plus is an extremley useful workshop. I already had some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS but learning JS and API was so fun and exciting. Can't wait to start with SheCodes Responsive.

I had a great time creating this World Clock App using Moment.js. I had fun incorporating various JavaScript techniques that I have learned within the course. My confidence in knowing the basics of JavaScript enabled me to learn how to add different features to this Clock App for example a color Switch. The users can change the background color that they want. I can't wait to learn more responsive techniques in the responsive SheCode workshop

React course was for me the most challenging so far. I will review Matt's videos as I have forgotten some Tipps I have learned in the past. Coding itself is fun when it works! (it's stressful when it doesn't work :p)

I'm loving my coding journey so far! Learning to code is something I never imagined that I'd be doing as I always considered myself "non-technical". I thought I'd give it a try and I've surprised myself! Matt is a great teacher and the learning process has been highly engaging and fun!
I have always been curious to understand what the word "coding" was all about, one of the most heard words lately... I had no idea, a lot of fear but more curiosity. It's been three weeks and I NEVER thought I could have advanced so much from a starting point in which, I was completely null in the field. It has been three super fun weeks, what a nice way Matt explained the steps in detail, with a lot of clarity. I realized that it is not impossible, that it is an exciting world and that if I keep practicing I will be able to keep falling in love with it. Thanks SheCodes, I lost my fear, you have allowed me to prove to myself that I can do it!
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Being a Web Development enthusiast, I was learning from different platforms. However, I realized I wasn't becoming confident of my ideas. With challenges and assignments, SheCodes Workshop helped me to go through my concepts in a much efficient way. I got to apply my design ideas and was able to create a simple page, thereby holding my fundamentals as well. Highly recommended to those who are still looking forward to start on their coding journey.

This was a fun add on course whicch expanded on some of the techniques learned in basics. It also showed us some ways to make more sophisticated code which was also nice.
It has been quite a challenge! But Matt is trying to make everything as simple as it's possible to explain 🙈.I can just say, that I like to work with React A LOT and gonna continue to learn for sure! I had a lot of Fun! 😃❤️

I sincerely appreciate the SheCodes Basics program for allowing me the opportunity to pursue one of my curiosities, while also keeping the process fun and engaging. I am grateful to have learned from an instructor who is not only passionate about coding, but who is also extremely knowledgeable. Matt's ability to assemble seamless and well-structured lessons allowed for me to have an incredibly beginner-friendly coding experience.

I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.
As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. Also, the community that SheCodes team has built is wonderful, everyone is very supportive and cooperative. I would definitely recommend the Basics course if you want to get acquainted with coding in a fun and easily digestible way.
Course is just amazing for the beginners. Easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.
