Learning how to code with Matt is fun! I love his lessons because they are easy to follow and very complete. The more I learn with SheCodes the more workshops I want to take!
SheCodes was a great way to learn some basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a structured and non-intimidating way! I knew I needed structured learning so I'm so glad that I decided to take the leap to purchase SheCodes Basics to start my coding journey. Matt explains how to code clearly and I loved how you had a video to learn from, then you got to execute what you learned in the challenge. The final project was also a lot of fun because you got to create a web page on something you're passionate about! Thank you so much to Matt and SheCodes for starting me on my journey!
I had a lot of fun and learned through this workshop, it delves much deeper into the functionality of Java Script cutting to the chase. The learning process is intense, but it is up to you to get the most out of these virtual classes and be ahead of the curve. The team is attentive to help you with any questions you may have.

The course was a wonderful insight in to the world of coding for a complete novice such as myself. I felt it provided a great platform in to what coding is about and although it was overwhelming at first I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you are thinking about enrolling on to the course and haven't yet done it because you are unsure, please do give it a go as I learnt so much and had a lot of fun at the same time.

Thanks SheCodes Plus and the SheCodes team! I have learned so much during such a short period of time. I couldn't really stop coding and finished the course much earlier than planned 💕 After only the first two course weeks with CSS, HTML and Bootstrap I had the confidence to start building my own website as a side project. And then, building the weather app was a real challenge. But it was fun and I have really come to understand the huge potential of JavaScript and API:s. I'm looking forward to SheCodes Responsive!
I learned a lot about making websites through this workshop. I had not realized how much work it really is! But I had a lot of fun, some frustration, but at the end of the day, everything works out and it brings a lot of joy.
A great, challenging course! Matt is an excellent teacher - the material was concise and easy to understand. I loved how well-structured the course is and the focus on practical/hands-on experience. It also helped that the course is self-paced and very flexible. It was fun building a webpage and learning in a supportive community. The Slack thread helped a lot. I don't think I would have had the motivation and guidance to learn coding by myself, so I highly recommend this course.
A well thought-out, deeper dive into HTML, CSS and JS. Lots of new and advanced information is given throughout this course. The advancement between this course and the previous is quite large, and most weeks you walk away feeling like you have learnt a lot of new things. The final project was fun to execute and learn!
I was a little intimidated by the React workshop, but it was a lot of fun and I ended up really enjoying it. The videos were easy to follow and understand, I would highly recommend this workshop. 😄😃

SheCodes has been the best coding program! It's a 10/10 for me. In only three weeks I have learned so much information, but it never felt overwhelming since all the projects are fun and engaging! The best part is that I would go back to past lessons whenever I need a refresher. Would totally recommend this Coding program.
The course is difficult but so worth it in the end! This has been such a fun journey and I simply cannot wait for the next course! I never imagined how much goes into building a weather app but that just makes me feel even more accomplished.
I've achieved so much knowledge with this course already. The challenges are fun to do and not too difficult! The instruction videos are also very easy to follow. SheCodes Basics has been a great introduction to coding and i can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant 🤩 Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
This basic web development course was so useful and fun. I am very excited because coding is very interesting, especially when I see the result of the codes as a colorful page. Thank you, SheCodes for this valuable opportunity.
This project made me super confident to go through the JavaScript functions and looking for some other ideas to make and use the things which I learned within this course. It was super fun and I did never get bored among learning. Thank you Matt for your different teaching method, it is fabulous.

This course has been an interesting and fun way to approach coding.
This course really tested my analytical abilities. It took me quite a while to catch on during the Week 1 activities, and I was significantly frustrated by how slow I was at completing the tasks. Week 2 was much more enjoyable as I became more familiar with the process and with the coding languages. The final project was a lot of fun, as well as a lot of back-and-forth of tweaking things to get them to where I was satisfied with the end result. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in understanding how webpages are constructed, and the creative possibilities this training can open up for you.
This was a great experience! I had so much fun learning how to code. The Basic workshop helped me to make my final decision. That I want to code in my career choice. The result of my project made me feel so proud of myself and motivated me to continue learning.
Interesting and fun to learn!
Once again learned a ton in this new add on. Learned new JS library which saved me so much time when working with dates and times 🙈 a dozen line of code replaced with a simple function. Overall I cannot believe the level I am at and how much I've learnt. Very happy with the results and can't wait to continue my journey ❤️

I enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive workshops! I enjoyed the final project and it's something that I really needed in order to move forward in pursuing web development. If you're thinking about taking the Responsive workshops, 10/10 recommend especially if you're a blogger--lots of helpful content!

I started SheCodes just to see if this was something I could see myself doing. I've been in a little of a rut in my career and wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go but already have a degree in graphic design. I decided that I have done some coding briefly and wanted to give it a shot again. SheCodes made it so fun and easy to pick it back up. And even with working full time I was still excited to try and find time to do all the work outside of my day job! I can't wait to keep learning with SheCodes and am excited to start the Plus curriculum!

Really loved the SheCodes plus basic add on! We had to use several different tools to build an amazing world clock that we can add to our portfolio (which wasn't easy at all) yet, very interesting and fun to build. Thank you so much Matt for teaching me so many different tools!

I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics! The workshop is set up to be very user friendly and easy to use. As a beginner the content was challenging at times, yet fun. I definitely plan to take more advanced courses in the near future!
I've tried so many different programming courses but didn't finish even one of them. I always felt that programming is complicated and it's not for me. SheCodes workshop is the first programming course that I've finished seamlessly. The course materials build-up were thorough and thoughtful. It wasn't like any other course that I've ever took. The learning experience was so fun and joyful that I finished my course two weeks earlier than final deadline. Shoutout to SheCodes team for this amazing workshop!

I never thought I would be able to complete a coding bootcamp ever.When I signed up I had no hope that I was going to be able to build a website or even know how to code a function.Even though I felt this way I was still able to complete the program and progress my knowledge even further.
