I have really enjoyed completing the SheCodes Basics course. I have learned so much in three weeks. The course structure is flexible & fun and I would recommend to anyone who thinks they might be interested in learning the basics of coding. :)

I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.
Wow, I cannot believe I have completed the full Max curriculum! I have learnt so much since starting and can now create webpages and webapps with different coding languages and tools. I have to thank Matt Delac as his videos, challenges and homework have guided me to this point. It has been very fun (and hard at some points). I cannot recommend this course enough and look forward to a future with all this knowledge under my belt!
I can highly recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who wants to get an insight into coding. The very flexible curriculum makes it easy to study whenever time is given. What I liked most is, that a lot of challenges are included so that just learned content can be practised right away. I learned so many interesting things and had a lot of fun with this workshop! :-)

The only thing I regret is that I did not learn about SheCodes earlier. Coding can be really fun especially with a helpful and interactive video explanation from Matt. Although I've only recently started coding, I can already understand and efficiently use many codes I encounter in my work thanks to SheCodes.

I absolutely loved this workshop! not only was it clear and educational but it was fun and challenging. I enjoyed coding with SheCodes! That's just it. I had loads of fun, some tears too because there were times my code wouldn't work and I'd be frustrated but soon, I'd be laughing through my tears at the silly mistake. I started the SheCodes Plus with so much euphoria and enthusiasm. Unlike the Basic, Plus proved to be more challenging, which is as it should be of course. I was suddenly struggling to meet deadlines since I also had a lot going on for me during the period. At some point, I was discouraged honestly. But I have a great Instructor! Along with his patient explanations, he kept encouraging. I'm grateful. The best of it is the team! Thank you SheCodes team! Even if we have hundred questions a day, you are ever ready to give fast replies. Even when it's a little mistake we couldn't see in our frenzy, you are very patient with us and ready to show us where we missed it. Please, do not stop at Basic so you don't miss out on all the fun. I chose SheCodes, or she chose me and I don't regret a minute of it. You wouldn't either!

I had zero coding knowledge and thought that I needed to be good at maths. I quickly found out that you don't. SheCodes Basics is very easy to understand and fun way to get into coding. Through homework, challenges, projects, and the help I got from the SheCodes team, I learned the basics of coding, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought. I don't regret a second choosing SheCodes. It was the best investment I have made in my life. I highly recommend it. I want to thank Matt and the SheCodes team for everything. Keep the good work up! This was very challenging and frustrating but well a lot of fun. I am glad I could reach the final stage and build my first react app.
I found this workshop very useful. That was educational, reflective, and fun! It provided me with a new set of good tools for day-to-day situations and gained practical skills and great reference material.

The whole process of learning was fun! I liked the fact that there were challenges to be completed. It does not only help me learn, but also master the skills for that particular lesson. It also allowed me to research and discover things that were not discussed in the video lecture.
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to the fundamentals of coding. The classes were easy to understand and accompanied by practical exercises, so you learned by doing. I liked that the solutions to the exercises were generally not so obvious and sometimes even a little tricky. I look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes! β¨

As a coding newbie this has been challenging but so much fun! It's a great start to learning the basics. I love the small, focused steps of learning with application tasks throughout the week followed by a more challenging application task at the end of the week. The scaffolding of the learning is fantastic with learners signposted to lots of resources to help them. While my end of unit project won't win any design awards, I'm so proud of what I have learned in just 3 weeks!
I was very much looking forward to my SheCodes Max experience in hopes of transitioning into a new career as a front-end developer in the future. I had a positive experience in the basics course ( although I did wonder if they would actually give detailed support and feedback on your progress going forward) as this didn't appear to be present in spite of the website and course outlines claiming that feedback, support and homework reviews are a part of the courses. It seems they use the basics course to lure people into paying for the larger courses without then delivering on quality and support or content and then hit you with their discreet "NO REFUND" policy if you question their lack of delivery on their service promises. The course was shockingly poor with absolutely zero support available. The course encourages you to copy and paste code into your solutions, for homework and projects and the team do not care if you understand the material. I struggled through 9 weeks all the while asking for support and explanations and all I got in response was invalidating and patronising responses from the so-called customer success team. I put in 35 hours plus per week to try and understand the content, doing my own research online and buying books. I knew I could not successfully achieve my outcomes with this course platform to become a front-end developer without any support or tutors to help me. The videos were outdated from 2015 which also made learning the content even more confusing. They have x2 technicians who are supposed to answer questions on Slack of 100's of students, responses coming hours and days later with simple responses asking you to copy and paste code with no explanations to help you understand. I asked for a refund as I paid Β£1084 for SheCodes Max and had not learned anything in 9 weeks. I was hit with the company's hidden "NO REFUND POLICY" Be careful! I did manage to get them to return some of the money but still wasted almost Β£500 on 9 weeks of hard work, struggling alone to gain nothing at the end of it but back and forth invalidating communication from the team. I will not recommend this course or company to people who seriously want to learn coding.

I enjoyed this workshop because it's funny for me to create landing pages, but I honestly hoped I could learn something more. I think it's perfect for people who still struggle with CSS.

This project was super complex, but I enjoyed learning all the different components of integrating the API, adding all the functionalities, and even making it look aesthetically pleasing. Having taken a bit of coding several years ago, I liked seeing what the 'behind-the-scenes' text looks like to the average internet user. It's more detailed than I thought, but it's so rewarding once you figure it out and get it too look just how you want. I've been recommending this course to family and friends - and it's the career I plan on having until I retire - it's THAT fun!
The last three weeks have been very informative, helpful and fun! I enjoyed every learning experience within the program.
I learned a lot from SheCodes. The fact that every class is followed by a challenge is really great to put our knowledge on use. I used to find programming logic really difficult but the classes and the project helped me to understand the logic of the functions and how everything falls into place on the code. I watched other programming courses before but this one is the one that helped me the most and it was also the most didatic one that I did.
Program is easy to follow and understand. I appreciate having multiple tools to reference (the video instructions, webpage demo's, and source codes). By using a combination of learning tools provided, it was easy, but fun and challenging to work through the lessons. I wasn't bored but also wasn't overwhelmed.

The basics add on was somehow easier than basics. Perhaps because i had an underlying understanding of code. How Matt demonstrates and explains the project, taking you step-by-step through the process makes building a webpage much simpler than you would initially think. Coding always surprise me sometimes I underestimate How long I was do a project or how fun, challenge even stressful it can be but I will always came back. This bootcamp not only showed me how a real life project can have your up and downs but also bring me more resilience to finish and love my final result.
