By the end of She Codes Plus, I had learnt how to create a functioning weather app. That approach of learning that sees to it that we not only obtain theoretical knowledge but also practical outlooks is the sole reason why i love She Codes.
I did not know anything about coding until three weeks ago. I started because I was curious about programming, and my friend recommended SheCodes. Through the first course, I learned a lot and, at the same time, having a lot of fun. I am excited to see what I am going to learn next week and, most importantly, which opportunities it will bring me in the near future.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

React is incredibly fun and challenging, this project re-worked my memory into remembering what I learned for my weather app a long time ago, and what not to do!

This workshop was life changing, and amazing. I was a little afraid of al the letters, the tools but it was amazing, I want to continue this incredible journey of coding. Coding is fun! Before starting at SheCodes, I thought that coding was difficult and that I would have a hard time learning it though I found it interesting. But, thanks to Matt and the SheCodes slack community, it was a wonderful experience. In just 3 weeks, I've become 3 languages smarter. Just finished my Basics add-on project. It was fun creating another page. Learned how to create grid layouts and changing the theme of a page using JS. Nice way to practice more of your css and html as well. I liked how we made the project together step by step per lesson. Saved me from going back and watching the videos for the final project over again.
This was a very fun and exciting project to work on during the weekend!

SheCodes made learning a fun experience. It has an great way to make you want to learn. The homework was my favorite part as I get to try what I saw and if I got stuck I could get help on the slacks community which is welcoming and helpful but mostly encouraging.

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. This is good for me too because I need to be able to learn on my own time but I also need that little push to stay on track. Can't wait to start with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

This Basics Add-On was SUPER FUN to do! I can see how much progress I've made because, although I'm working on my code writing to be more intuitive, I was able to follow along quicker and easier than I did in my first three weeks. I really like flexing my design muscles in CSS!
this is a course that make participants familiar with front-end coding.The focus of it is on HTML and CSS but I've learned some basic codes and concepts of JavaScripts. I wish the course was more elaborated with some details. Also it would be useful that fundamental concepts(like variable scope) were explained. Excellent point of the course is weekly home works which engage us to what we learned. Thanks a lot Shecodes and specially Matt.
It was an intensive 3 weeks, but I feel much more confident about my coding skills and learning how it works. It provided me a sense of accountability, but also, I was having fun!

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basics workshop. It helped me realize that I really like coding and that I do have a future in it. It's true that sometimes it's a bit frustrating but at the end of the day you have fun in the process and you are happy with your result. Right now I'm applying to universities and this course made me realize that I don't only want to study design but I want to combine it with some software programming like computer science, animation and videogame engineering and digital design. My final project was a web page where I wrote my college admissions essay and that way I could show them my skills. :))))

I've been trying to grasp coding for a couple of months but kept getting stuck with no idea how to find answers to my questions. I love this format where not only are we taught how to look up answers for ourselves, but if we can't figure it out there's a chat with classmates as well as an entire walkthrough of the problem. It's also super fun!
