Honestly, I didn't imagine myself in tech a lot, but SheCodes gave me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I'm sincerely grateful for. Quick and fun project!
I would compare taking this course to a rollercoaster ride. It was fun, challenging, and personally frustrating for me for like 85% of the time. But what stood out to me the most, β and honestly what pushed me to finish the course β was the constant encouragement from Matt. He acknowledges that learning how to code is tough and that we'll DEFINITELY be stumped from time to time with the course homework and challenges. Yet he emphasized that these are vital stepping stones in the learning process and that the end result will be rewarding β and indeed it is! I highly recommend this course and Matt's empowering approach to anyone eager to learn how to code.
I loved this eight weeks workshop because I learned about javascript functions, Ajax, search engines, API, Github, hosting, and many more. Matt is truly blessed with structure and easy ways of solving problems. I recommend you apply for this workshop and see how fun it is.

The SheCodes Responsive Add-on Course has taught me more about grids, tables, and filters. It was a challenge to make the entire site responsive, but it was fun learning new ways to code in css and html. The travel project is one of my favorite projects so far. I have enjoyed this course and I look forward to the React Add-on Course next.

Matt is an outstanding teacher! He is incredibly talented at simplifying complex concepts and at introducing the correct pieces of information sequentially in order to build foundational knowledge. Also, he has a very kind & soothing voice and demeanor. When listening to multiple hours of lectures, it's extremely helpful to enjoy the teacher's voice and personality. He's also funny and adds in bits of humor to some recordings. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

It's been almost three months since I joined SheCodes and I have completed the basic and plus program, it has been an incredible journey filled with a great deal of knowledge and fun.
I am elated to share my testimonial about SheCodes Basics that I have recently completely. SheCodes Basics has been tremendously good to me. Prior to starting this journey, my knowledge and understanding about coding was slim; however, after completing this course, I am equipped with a great foundation that will enable me expand myself in the world of coding. Coding is fun, and although challenges did arise, that did not dampen my determination to continue learning. My instructor, Matt, has helped me to understand concepts that seemed difficult to me prior to starting this course.
