I highly recommend SheCodes if you are looking to learn to code. The structure of the course is flexible but also gives you goals to work towards, this allows it to fit my life and learning style. The lessons were taught in a easy to follow way. Matt does a great job of explaining things and making you think. The slack channel is a great resource for getting help with your assignments. Coding is fun in a challenging way, I really enjoy it! I look forward to continuing on with the next course.

SheCodes Basics was an amazing course that taught me the fundamentals of coding and gave me the confidence to start my journey in web development
I started the course not knowing anything about coding but now i can say i know a whole lot more than i thought i would, this experience has been so informative and yet so fun. SheCodes has been absolutely one of the best decision i did this year, looking forward to learn a whole lot more.
I have learned so much with SheCodes basics, and genuinely had FUN the entire time. I'm looking forward to enrolling in SheCodes Max next!

Learning to code with SheCodes was a fun process and didn't make me frustrated at all. The teaching method was great. This is a real "basic" program. It's easy to understand and is going on one step at a time.
Itβs actually fun! I find myself obsessing over perfecting the code, giving up, and then going back for more. I love that we are all apart of a program, that supports the success of women! Itβs exciting :)

React was by far the most difficult and confusing of the SheCodes learning experience - Matt made it as understandable and fun as possible. Though challenging, seeing my code come to life made it all worth it. And though this is my 4th certificate from SheCodes - the fact that I came from absolutely no coding experience to learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JS and now creating a working website using a popular programming language blows my mind. And I did it all in my own time while working a strenuous finance job. Thank you Matt and all the TA's for all your support!
I had 0 experience with coding nor do I have a tech background. But was very interested in learning how to code. This beginner workshop was very helpful and the lessons were straightforward with useful information. The homework helped pull everything together. The project at the end was fun and gave me a chance to create something with everything I have learned thus far. Iβm hoping to dive deeper and learn more!

I started with SheCodes Basics and thoroughly enjoyed this add-on portion. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. The content was extremely helpful and the assignments and project were a lot of fun. You get to practice invaluable skills that you will want to keep using.

I recently discovered Shecodes.I love this program because it allows me to learn a skill that will help me land a tech job that will improve my life. I had so much fun completing the basics I cannot wait to move on to Shecodes plus.

I enjoyed my introduction to the coding-world at SheCodes. It has been challenging but also a lot of fun. The program is easy to follow and the instructor Matt makes the lessons enjoyable. I come from a background in the healthcare system and therefore coding was intimidating at first. But i'm amazed at how much i've learned in such a short period of time. I'm excited to learn more and hopefully make this into an IT-career in the near future.

The course strike the perfect balance between being simulating, challenging, and fun. We used APIs and git version control for the final project, deepened our HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, and hosted the project on Netlify. SheCodes Responsive Add-On was a fun little project between the Responsive course and the next course, bringing in lots of key aspects together.
Highly recommend completing this course! My favourite task was actually the project - it just shows how much I have learnt in all of the lessons. Also, it is pretty fun testing codes out even if they are wrong.. it's all about experimenting them to see if the codes work!
It has been an amazing experience to learn the basic coding principles during this workshop. Everything is really well explained, in small steps and very visual, so you can follow easily, even as an absolute beginner. Working on the final project has been fun, especially solving the challenges that appeared along the way of its development. It is encouraging to see what you can learn in just 3 weeks!

Iβve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.
